I know how hard it is because I tried first on my own and got absolutely nowhere. Once he engaged the insurance people, their whole tone with me changed. They offered to settle my claim without a long, drawn out trial or litigation, and when they got cute about sending the actual check, he helped me initiate a CA DOI (DEPT OF INSURANCE) complaint and, like magic, the check was cut the next day, Also, in the end, there were no surprises as to what anyone was to be paid. It went exactly as we had talked about, which is pretty rare these days. Highly recommended, professional and honest. I can't say enough good about him or his office staff!

As a mom of a toddler, I had been following them for some time and knew he was also a lawyer. When I needed help with a prenuptial agreement, I decided to reach out. To my surprise, Brian responded right away--even on a Sunday--and scheduled a consultation with me the very next day. He came prepared with a detailed slideshow and explained everything thoroughly. I had initially asked about a lower rate since my fiancé was covering my legal fees and had set a budget, but through the process I realized just how much work, thought, and detail goes into legal documents. Brian was always professional, patient, and clear. He took the time to break down the legal language so I could fully understand, and I truly felt he always had my best interests in mind. Even while juggling the stress of the prenup process and life with a little one at home, I felt supported and guided every step of the way. I highly recommend Brian--he's professional, responsive, and genuinely cares about his clients.

This firm stuck with me the whole time. Never got upset, never made me feel like a burden, always 100% professional and pleasant. I have a feeling Mr. Fhima did something above and beyond what he is supposed to do and is not telling me. And I'm sure Mr. Fhima wishes he never took this case. But I'm sure glad he did. I can say thank you a 1,000 times and they will still not understand how grateful I am, how many times a day I think about what would have happened with another firm. Thank you so much Mr. Fhima, Monica, and Courtney. I love you guys!

I hired this firm to represent me after I was injured in a car accident…read more Overall, my experience has been mixed. Aaron has been excellent to work with. He has always been polite, informative, and communicative. Whenever I've called with questions, he's returned my calls and taken the time to explain things. Unfortunately, most of my communication has been with Rosie, and that has been frustrating. She was the first person I spoke with when I called them. I went with this company because she told me they would hold my hand in the process and the reviews aligned. When I called for updates, I often received conflicting information. There were also several occasions where I was told something wasn't needed, only to be asked for it much later because it hadn't been documented, requiring me to track it down and resend it. I eventually switched to communicating by email because it was easier to keep track of what had been said. At one point, nearly two years into my case, I was asked to provide photos. I was surprised those hadn't already been collected much earlier in the process- what if I didn't have them and how that could have affected a case. I often felt like I was spending more time than I should have REsending documents and REreading old emails to clarify what had already been provided. After undergoing surgery, I reached out for an update because several months had passed and I had questions about what to expect next and the process after being told there was issues with billing which I had no idea what that even meant (like what issues? How is it getting fixed? Etc.). Rather than having my questions answered or the process explained, I received a brief response referencing previous emails that are unclear and thanking me for my patience. The wording made me feel as though simply asking for an update was being viewed as impatience. My life has been changed by my injuries, I would have expected this response from the opposing party. I didn't expect this from the firm representing me. Given the seriousness of my injuries and recovery, the response felt dismissive and lacked the empathy and communication I was hoping to receive from my own legal team. As a client, I believe it's reasonable to ask questions throughout the process, especially after a major surgery and during a case that has lasted YEARS. Those questions should be met with clear, respectful communication--not responses that leave you feeling like you're inconveniencing someone for doing their job. I've tried to let these issues go over the course of my case, but after experiencing the same communication problems repeatedly, I felt it was important to share my experience. I find myself avoiding asking questions altogether because I didn't want to receive another dismissive response. I appreciate Aaron's professionalism and responsiveness, but the inconsistent communication and customer service I experienced with the office made an already stressful situation much more difficult than it needed to be.

This lawyer is Lawrence J. Dreyfus. In my opinion, if you are considering him run, don't walk in…read morethe opposite direction. First, he is condescending to his clients thinking we all know the law only from TV. Next, he is emotionally unstable, jumping to conclusions, easily losing his temper, and treating the client like an adversary. While to opposing counsel he is easily out maneuvered but super sweet. Though he professes high ethics, they don't apply to his billings. He will charge you over $600 just to go to the courthouse to get a couple of dates and will make many billing errors all in his favor. Where he should ethically tell you, 'you have no case' or 'it will cost you more in attorney fees than you will recover in damages', he's only interested in generating his billable hours, that is, what benefits him not you. He doesn't listen to his clients and cares only about his feeling, not yours. He doesn't explain the intricacies and niceties of the law, instead as though he were an MD, he just expects you to accept whatever he says without question. He will try to push you to accept a settlement, not explaining what you should fairly and reasonably expect. Now you can't expect to get along with everybody, especially lawyers as they are generally bull-dogs but you should at least expect a zealous effort on your behalf; Don't with Lawrence J. Dreyfus
