We were surprised to find that there really aren't that many companies that handle dead animal removal. Thankfully, we found this company and spoke with Scott, who was incredibly helpful and understanding of the situation. He was able to arrange for someone to come out the very same day, which was such a huge relief! The entire process was much easier than I expected. They have an online portal and text notification system, which was really convenient. We received updates throughout the process, and I appreciated not having to constantly call or wonder when someone was going to arrive. The person who came out was professional, efficient, and took care of everything quickly. Most importantly, the problem was finally taken care of and we could stop worrying about the smell and the situation. After dealing with this for several days, we are SO excited to finally be able to breathe fresh air again! It's amazing how much you appreciate something as simple as being able to open your windows without smelling something awful. Decided to go with all city animal trapping. Because they were very confident they would catch it. Cost was around $600 and to dispose of the coyote would be around 275 300. Our backyard is very bare with no hiding spots or bushes. I told them this again even when the trapper came out. I said are you sure this is gonna work, coyotes are pretty smart. Think it's gonna walk into this giant cage without it being more hidden in a bush He said with confidence oh yeah, we catch them all the time and if it's not in this month, we'll keep it till we catch something. It's been two months of us gloving up ourselves (thats what you need to do) and putting fresh raw chicken every few days in there. We have literally caught nothing just became a bird landing spot. We got a phone call this morning saying they were gonna come pick it up today, it's been 2 months. This was without warning and told them they said we could keep it till we caught something. If nothing has been caught in two months, maybe they need to adjust their method of how to catch it? We've watched our backyard video footage of the coyote going right past it not even interested in it at all. What we initially thought was 3 skunks, turned to be at least 6. Shad came by and placed traps for us (shout out to Shad!) and we caught one the next evening. I called the next morning and Mike came by to remove skunk #1. Later that evening we caught another, and shad came the next morning. Last evening, we caught 3!!! And back came Shad. Promised as part of the service to seal a small several foot section of deck after trapping the animals. Over the course of three days caught two opossums and a skunk which, Charged $225 for "initial setup"which consisted of coming out dropping a $65 Home Depot trap with a jar of peanut butter next to the rodent hole. literally took five minutes. Then charged an additional $85 each to remove three subsequently caught small animals, each of those took about three minutes, after which violated fishing And wildlife laws by letting them go other neighborhoods and nearby parks. Was supposed to seal the deck after a day or two of no animal activity, he then procrastinated for 2 1/2 weeks, promise to come out, failed, promised again, failed, promised again, and then just never showed up. The result was more animals housing under my deck basically in the same or worst condition than when I started. Wasted over $500 - avoid at all costs. I found All City Animal Trapping on yelp and they have great reviews so gave them a call at 8 pm and got a call back less than 10 minutes later. I was able to set up a visit for the next day and Pete came out. He did a thorough examine doors and outside and determined it to be rats which literally was worse than raccoons. The last thing I wanted was for the rats to come inside to our living areas. Pete set some traps and then sent me some information for which package deal I wanted. I really think their pricing is competitive and they are honest. After I signed the necessary paperwork Jorge and Braeden were put a couple of days later to seal up all the potential entry points and place more traps. They returned about every 4 days for three more visits and on the last day Jorge sprayed a disinfectant. So it seems like these guys sealed the entry points while the rats were out because I didn't hear any more noise, the traps were empty and no more new droppings noted in the attic and outside. Pete, Jorge and Braeden were punctual and professional. Nice guys who take their job seriously. Now while I hope I don't need them again in the future but if I do I wouldn't hesitate to call All City Animal Trapping if we get more unexpected visitors.
