He also works under the name Works also under the name Trapper Jordan LLC For Animal Trapping. Absolute failure. He needs to be put out of business and actually get a job. Promised as part of the service to seal a small several foot section of deck after trapping the animals. Over the course of three days caught two opossums and a skunk which, Charged $225 for "initial setup"which consisted of coming out dropping a $65 Home Depot trap with a jar of peanut butter next to the rodent hole. literally took five minutes. Then charged an additional $85 each to remove three subsequently caught small animals, each of those took about three minutes, after which violated fishing And wildlife laws by letting them go other neighborhoods and nearby parks. Was supposed to seal the deck after a day or two of no animal activity, he then procrastinated for 2 1/2 weeks, promise to come out, failed, promised again, failed, promised again, and then just never showed up. The result was more animals housing under my deck basically in the same or worst condition than when I started. Wasted over $500 - avoid at all costs. He now claims to have never done business with me , see below for photo of payments. Years ago I had used Steve for a skunk removal so I knew he did great service. He got rid of the skunk plus closed openings to access under my house. Recently when I moved back into my house I discover lattice work under deck had rotted and was missing in spots. Worried something might be living under deck I wanted to check prior to have deck repaired. Steve came to house that day and placed cardboard and easily movable blockades to openings. He instructed me to monitor every morning to see if anything had been moved. After a week without changes the decision was made nothing living under deck and clear to repair opening. I would give Animal Boy 6 starts if I could. I put a Ring camera out next to a crawl space and learned I had a skunk visiting. So I bought a trap and caught the skunk! But then I learned the city I live in does not let you do anything other than release it at your property line, i.e., move it 10 feet and let it go towards my neighbor's house. So I called Animal Boy and they removed the skunk (transferred it from my trap to his own box) the same day, then took it away to release it 5+ miles away. Very affordable. So helpful, and knowledgeable. Very friendly and fair pricing. My dogs were sprayed by skunks twice in 2 weeks... they helped us set traps all around the yard. We didn't catch any skunks, and thankfully they decided to stop coming around. They did help us catch a very elusive rat that had been plaguing our plumbing and walls inside. We could hear it chewing at night. It had actually chewed off its own tail to escape a sticky trap we had set ourselves. We heard thumps, scrapes, and walking sounds at 5:00 am every morning coming from the attic. It was really unnerving! I called Steve who came the same day. He did a thorough check of our house, climbed up into the attic looked all outside and went on top of the roof and found hair and droppings from raccoons. He was honest and told us that it just looked like they were outside (he could have charged us to place traps), and said if the noise was bothering us too much he would return at no charge to place outside traps. Let me just say how lucky I feel that I found Steve. After finding a skunk living under our house I called another trapping company which ultimately was a scam. He was all about the money and not fixing our problem. After paying him to help catch the skunk it was hard to get him back to the house to finish the work. So, I had to do more research and find someone else to come help us. I found Steve on yelp and many of the other customers had nothing but great things to say about him. After researching more trappers I felt like he was the best one to go with. He was very through and Cared about our safety. And need I mention, the lowest price out of all the other trappers. After, doing a detailed inspection around our house, he made sure all of our vents under the house were properly sealed and closed off to prevent any other pests from trying to make a home underneath our house (and didn't charge us). Disappointed. Terrible communication issues between owner and staff. I contacted owner on Tuesday for a Saturday appointment. He was responsive and helpful but his "weekend" person never contacted me. I texted the owner at 8 am saturday saying how I never heard from the weekend guy - no response. Around 10 am I get a call from weekend guy that he will be there in about an hour. He spoke very mumbled and I could barely make out what he was saying but figured my convo with the owner before was so on point - I'M SURE it will be fine. Service - I paid $150 for a man to walk around my 2 car garage and place 4 wood and wire snap kill traps and point out a hole in the side vent which I already knew about. I expected the whole house looked over based on both previous conversations with the owner and for the price. I read all the reviews on yelp and the their responses to complaint reviews. Felt safe that A) they would do a good job and B) if for any odd reason it wasn't great service I had the impression they would resolve it. As I just mentioned I was unhappy - I contacted the owner and expressed this. He stopped responding to me. Now I have four "Victor M154 Metal Pedal Mouse Trap"- ahem- KILL traps in my garage, still no clue to what extent the infestation is, and I'm out $150. Oh and to have them come pick up the dead - because they used kill traps - will be another $75. NO thanks. read more

First of all, Trapper was able to go to the property on an urgent basis, and was very upfront with his pricing. He then spent a lot of time in the crawl space searching for the stinky cause of the awful smell. He did not give up and finally was able to locate the dead rat. If it weren't because Trapper had such great work ethics and professionalism, it would have been a miserable next few days having to suffer through the smell of a decomposing rodent. I'm currently in the process of reporting Animal Boy Trapping Service to the BBB - yes, they're that bad. 1) They won't show up to your house when they say they will. 2) Then when they do actually show up, they will tell you the service is free as a way of 'making things right,' then will forget that entirely and eventually invoice and then send collections after you... 3) ...even after the owner Steve and his employee Jordan promised that they would call the collections agency multiple times and resolve the issue (surprise: they didn't). 4) Fun bonus: Animal Boy Trapping Services couldn't even catch the raccoons that were the reason I called them in the first place! The raccoons just knocked over their cages to eat the spilled food out the edges and went on their way. Super pro work, guys! --- Long story long: Jordan promised to show and deal with traps for a raccoon problem at my house and missed all three promised days/times in which I then missed two days of work waiting for him. When he did show up the fourth time, he told me the service was free/comped/waived because of his inability to get to my house the three previous scheduled times. I received an invoice a few months later for said free service, and spoke to Steve the owner who said that it was a mistake and consider it void based on my negative experience. Then 6 months later I received a letter from a collections agency (!!!) looking to collect on Animal Boy Trapping's behalf for this invoice I was instructed by the owner to ignore. I call the collection agency, who tell me to call ABT to resolve this. I then speak to Jordan, my original trapper who started this whole process with his free assessment, who promises to speak to Steve to have collections called off. I call the collections agency and confirm - nothing was called off. After several calls to a "voicemailbox full" recording, I finally get Steve (the owner!) who HIMSELF promises to call the collections agency to have the invoice removed. Great! I follow up with the collections company a week later - and surprise - Steve never called. I call ABT again, and speak to Jordan (...again....) who promises to resolve it. Does it get resolved? Nope! Literally this company is the greatest waste of my time on earth. I won't let them negatively impact my credit based on their negligence, and hopefully the same won't happen to you. read more

The bad: some nights a raccoon would dance on my roof. The good: Matt came out the same day to survey the roof. He did not find any entry point in the attic, but quickly found signs of raccoon activity around my house. He setup two traps. The next morning (Saturday) a raccoon was inside the trap. He promptly came to retrieve the animal for release in a different area. Set the trap again and the next morning a massive male was caught. He promptly came to retrieve even though it was on a Sunday and it was Christmas. He was prompt, competent and respectful. I would certainly recommend his services. read more

Jordan was awesome and Steve was great on the phone. They came out promptly and worked around my crazy schedule. They set up traps, caught the skunk overnight and this is where they really earned my endorsement: The confirmed that they were getting back up there almost within the hour of calling them to let them know there was a skunk in the trap. This was important to me as the skunk was trapped in 90 degree heat with no water. We have to remember that we share this planet with animals, despite their cognitive ability, emotional capacity and intelligence level not being recognised until more recently. Even rats are highly intelligent. A nuisance to our habitat if theyre not pets but killing them with rat traps is so inhumane. These guys will go the extra step to relocate the animals they can and even try to find a foster for domesticated homeless animals. Jordan showed up with a tiny kitten that was so distraught from being in a cage. It had been removed from someones property and was on his way to drop it off at the animal shelter. The sad reality is that the kitten will likely be euthanised if no one adopts it in a few days, but at least he gave it a chance. Perhaps post photos of homeless pets on your Facebook page too before heading to the pound and shelters? Bravo lads. Keep up the great work and thank you for your fine contribution to humanity. Called them when I thought I had a raccoon in the attic. Jordan came out the next day and informed me it wasn't a raccoon but a very large rat. He also said I had an entry point which needed to be sealed and was included in my $150 service call. He didn't have the materials needed to seal the hole and I didn't have the time to wait for him to go out and get them and we agreed for him to come out the following week to do the job. Called Jordan on Monday to schedule the work left a voice mail and he didn't return the call. Called the next day left message no return call. Called the office on Wednesday and told them I had left 2 messages with Jordan and their response was he would get back to me in 10 minutes. Jordan called me soon after my call to the office and agreed to come out the next day between 10:30 and 11:30. He didn't come. Called him around 12 and asked if he was coming and he said he was very busy and would come later that day. He didn't come and never called. My wife called the office later that day and was told that I didn't want them to come out and do the work because I told Jordan that I would do it myself. I don't know what I paid $150 for but I am very unhappy with this company and would caution others not to pay up front for any work. All I want is what I paid for and if they can't make it at the agreed upon time then give me a call. read more

Trapper Jordan was wonderful, and responded to every text I wrote almost immediately. After weeks of trying to get Mother/babies out (using scent of male raccoon), Jordan captured Mom and one baby with a trap. They were removed and were released. Raccoons have from 3-8 babies so, if there were more babies in our attic, I trusted Jordan would find them. About a week later, I found a baby in the garden. We tried feeding it, we found a cage for it, it escaped, we found it, but by then it was the weekend and Jordan said he wasn't able to pick it up till Monday. We could have paid an extra $75 for them to come get it. It escaped again and was mauled & killed by neighbor's dog. A week later, I found 2 other babies in very bad shape. It had been nearly 2 weeks since Mom was there, and they were starving. I ran them over to the SPCA as fast as possible. The woman who worked there looked at the babies, looked at me with angry eyes and said I could be arrested for such neglect. She took them and euthanized them. I am not a PETA extremist, but the image of those starved babies will forever be engrained in my head. Between our very challenging house and many crawl spaces making it impossible to reach the raccoons + the 25 mile distance that Jordan had to travel to get to us, plus other circumstances, THIS WAS A TOUGH AND UNUSUAL JOB. Steve and Matt are terrific! We called Sunday morning on the hottest day of the year to-date. We told Steve that we thought we had dead rats in our house's "crawl space." Steve said he would get someone over by early afternoon. Half an hour later (before noon) Matt called and told us he'd be by in 45 or so. When he arrived he immediately surveyed the scene and found and removed the dead critter. They he cleaned, disinfected and deodorized the area.
