Brought my daughter here for her very first dental visit at 2 years old, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! The entire team was so warm and amazing, making what could have been a stressful appointment feel fun and positive. My daughter actually had a great time and is now more excited to brush and floss her teeth at home. The office is so thoughtfully set up for kids -- from the toys in the waiting area, to TVs playing shows while little ones get their teeth brushed and examined, to tokens they earn at the end to pick out a prize. Would highly recommend Dr Andrew and this practice. Dr Andrew is quite thorough and knowledgeable. My daughter is 1 yr old so this was her first dentist visit. I felt she received very good care and information for her incoming teeth from Dr Andrew. Dr Andrew provided basic guidelines for how to take care of her teeth and gums, health information on foods/ways to keep her teeth healthy and showed me a method to help brush my daughters teeth & gums. Overall the staff here is friendly, helpful and the office is very clean, modern and inviting with toys and great in keeping your child "occupied"/calm for their visits. This review is for the XR visit for my 6 year old son today. He has cavity that needs follow up with XR to formulate a treatment plan. My child was not cooperative and we were there for 30 minutes. I elected to abort the procedure because he was not going to allow anything in his mouth. During the entire experience, Ms. Adriana was my son's technician. She was top notch, patient, gentle, kind, and professional. I did not feel a single hint of pressure. She gave multiple breaks to calm down my son. She even gave him sugar-free lollipop after the visit to help him practice keeping his mouth open at home. I reached out to several in our area, and Shine responded immediately, checked out our insurance, answered my questions and quickly scheduled an appointment. After our regular pediatric dental office was getting super booked up and it was too difficult to get an appointment, I had to quickly find a new office that I could trust taking my daughters. I got so lucky when I found Shine Pediatric Dentistry! The dental hygienists, as well as Dr. Salina and Dr. Andrew have my full trust, and have been amazing with both my daughters and their different personalities. The annual checkups are very thorough and even when we had to come in for a extraction procedure, they kept my nerves at bay with their confidence, knowledge, and professionalism. Dr. Andrew Huynh is wonderful! My 5 YO son has had multiple visits to the dentist (unfortunately!) due to cavities. Dr. Huynh has put in 2 crowns and 2 fillings for him. These procedures were split into 2 visits - Dr. Huynh suggested we do that so that my son wouldn't have to be in the chair for too long each time. He and his team were very informative, patient, calming and efficient each time. My son did really well both times, surprisingly! I brought my child who previously had unpleasant experience at previous dentist when she was little(It was really not the dentist, but the hygienist).
