The kids enjoyed the gym and your staff were very kind and friendly. Yet, I don't think your venue is ideal for a party. For example please add a brief overview of how to use the equipment or even shift the class before open play. The small, deep cut in my daughters head from your equipment could have been prevented by brief modeling or instruction. Also, please add chairs to the party room. The open fan and couch were an unpleasant surprise. 25 people were very uncomfortable in that small space. read more

My 8 yr old attended a parkour summer camp. He absolutely loved it! The price is commensurate with similar summer camps in the area. They do an excellent job teaching the basics and safety of parkour. They managed to find the fine line between exhausting the children and giving them opportunities for rest. They push them without overextension. They offer multiple classes throughout the week and open gyms. The standard pricing is very affordable, if not underpriced. They also offer a family membership that cuts the class prices in half. The only cons are that the facility feels a little "crossfit gymishish" and some of the equipment could use a little work (just cosmetic issues not safety issues.) Nothing a fresh coat of paint couldn't fix. read more

I let the three kids in our group rate this one. They had a blast doing the American Ninja Warrior course. The day were there for open gym, the pit was closed. I was a customer of Shinobi's in the past. My wife, several of my children, and I all took classes regularly with him. He is, without a shadow of a doubt, the most professional and friendly person that I've ever had the pleasure of working with. His gym has gone through several renovations and improvements since my time with him but I've heard absolutely nothing but good things from those that have legitimately attended his classes. The few bad things that I've heard were from people that had never worked with him and were, as it turned out, pure lies. If you are torn between attended a "real" gym, another parkour gym, a martial arts academy, or Shinobi School; go for Shinobi School. Hands down. I'd give more stars if I could. read more

Came here today for a kid's birthday party and can not say enough positive things. The kids had a blast learning how to be an American Ninja Warrior and especially loved the ninja vs zombie game. They do parkour classes, birthday parties, parent's nights out...they do an amazing job with the kids and it's a great workout for the kids too! read more

DON'T SIGN THAT WAIVER until you ask if they (Shinobi) are insured. THEY ARE NOT. Unfortunately our child fell into the homemade foam pit which was grossly under filled of foam. This has caused him (and us) to endure multiple surgeries on both legs, pain and suffering and permanent damage. Of course the owner of Shinobi WILL NOT return any phone calls, requests, or subpoenas from attorneys to supply any information or insurance coverage. Mr. Poli (owner) wants to hide and not be forthcoming or do the right thing. DO YOU WANT THIS FOR YOU OR YOUR CHILD?? We are out of pocket over $50,000 after OUR insurance, to help our child recover. HOW WOULD YOU LIKE THIS TO BE YOU??? Before you risk your health and safety at Shinobi Tampa, ask for their insurance and see what they say. UNSAFE, homemade, non insured facility. read more

Attended a semi-private class for aerial arts with Anne. She made learning lyra super easy, and helped four of us learn and practice several poses in just an hour. I hope to attend more classes soon! Affordable and the only place to learn this stuff in Tampa. read more
