The outdoor setting is also very pretty with tables and chairs surrounded by flowers, shrubs and trees. I was there for a goat yoga session held on the property rather than a wine tasting but I did get a can of their Shiny Apple Cider. It's a fermented alcoholic drink made from Ontario apples. I love apples but not apple juice. So I'm not their target market (i.e. I'm not much of an apple cider fan). The staff were friendly, the washrooms were clean and the parking lot was big.

It's first come first serve, but people come and go pretty quickly. They also have a lot of seating. Most people try a few flights and go to the next vineyard, so it's perfect for vineyard/brewery hopping. We got a few flights of beer and one flight of wine. We weren't paying attention and tried the ciders before the wine. That was a mistake. The ciders are quite sweet, so tasting the wines after didn't give us a fair taste. Out if the ciders, our favourites were the peach cider, mango pineapple cider and the pink lemonade cider. All of them were very sweet though. The salted caramel was the most unique flavour and was surprisingly pretty good as well. They did have charcuterie on the menu, however I wish they had some other small bites to accompany the tastings. All in all, super cute place to add to your vineyard hopping list!

The service has always been friendly and welcoming, giving off a true local, down-to-earth vibe that makes you want to linger. We've enjoyed a few lunches here, with dishes that are consistently well-prepared, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented, pairing beautifully with their wines. Overall, this is a great spot for locals and visitors alike, offering quality food, a beautiful setting, and an experience that's absolutely worth a return visit. Saluti

Food 4/5 Service 3/5…read moreAmbiance 5/5 Food: I came here as a part of a work event. Our company had the whole event space booked. We had a set menu with three courses. Our first course was a green salad with currants. That was delicious actually. I really liked the currants. The next course was a choice of either chicken or squash (not many options!). I had chosen the squash but because of my food allergies they ended up giving me a mushroom dish. I love mushrooms so I didn't mind. That dish was actually quite tasty. The last course was a dessert which was a seasonal crumble with ice cream. They gave me a shaved coconut & berries dish due to my food allergies. The food was okay but my mind wasn't blown. I tried a bit of both the red wine & white wine but didn't like the taste. Then again I'm not much of wine drinker. Service: Some of the servers looked like the would rather be anywhere else than at the event. My server was great though, he was very attentive to me because of my food allergies. However, one of the servers dropped a carafe of boiling hot coffee on the ground. It hit me a bit, the guy next to me got some in his eye & another guy across from us was also hit. I was not happy about that. The server was really apologetic & went to get some ice. Took her forever but she finally found some & gave it to the people who were affected. I smelled like coffee after that. Ambiance: The vineyard is really lovely. We got there just before the sun started setting & it made for some amazing views. The dining hall is nice as well with it's high ceilings & floor to ceiling windows. The group washrooms were clean & pretty also. I'm not sure if I would come here again on my own. My impression of the food & service is tainted by the coffee being spilled on us. They were really apologetic & everything but sometimes first impressions are everything. I'm not often in the Niagara on the Lake area & if I were I wouldn't make a special trip to come here given my past experience here.

Wines: A bit too dry for my liking so I didn't pick up any bottles but if you don't mind that this is a nice spot to check out. The staff are quite polite, professional, and patient in explaining all their wines. I paid $20 for a flight of 4 glasses and received a welcome glass as well. I tried the following: Welcome Glass: Triomphe White - tropical aromas. I can see it for easy drinking / something casual. Just too dry for me. 1) Triomphe Riesling - green apple & lime zest. A bit too tart for me. 2) Triomphe Cab Franc Rosé - summer strawberry, apple. Unique and strong strawberry notes but wish it was more juicy. 3) Triomphe Merlot - rich, lush fruit. I wish it was more fruit forward. 4) Estate Petit Verdot - violets, black plum. Not for me. Felt like this had high tannins and acidity. Overall, would recommend if you like dry wines. Service is nice and the winery is pretty. They even have an area where they do bee farming to collect their own honey.

I came here intending to just buy a bottle of their Orange Wine. I had heard soo much about it, but as it's not a super cheap bottle, I was enticed to do a tasting instead. I do not know too much about their wines. The only thing that I do know is that Southbrook is one of the few - if only - wineries that are organic. I was met with a friendly staff member who listened to what I liked and customised a tasting for me based on that. (I don't know her name, but she was Turkish and had curly hair.) She literally pulled out all the stops for me and that encouraged me to try several of their wines, including their Orange Wine...which wasn't really what I was expecting. It was dry and it basically tasted like kombucha. During the tasting, there were other customers who wanted to ask her something / purchase some wine, but she politely and professionally excused herself to attend to them. Towards the end of the tasting, she said that she had a surprise for me and she came back with a chocolate lava cake to accompany their raspberry wine. It was soo unexpected and such a treat! Even though I did not end up buying their Orange Wine, I did buy one of their Rieslings which I did enjoy a lot! This lady was soo pleasant to deal with as she listened, knew what she was talking about in terms of the varietals of wine that they offered, and wasn't stuck on the fixed tastings, but rather offered something out of the box! Great experienced, highly recommended!
