I'm from our of town and didn't know what to expect here. The car was was quick, high quality and reasonably priced. The best part was in the vacuum bay they had nice clean towels, Windex and cleaner spray along with air hoses. I got all the road grime off my car and ready to go again! read more

Was really excited for a free car wash and was considering getting a membership as it's at a very convenient location. However when pulling up and waiting in the cash/credit lane one of the employees were in mid conversation with someone in the car at the start of the lane, the barrier raised but they did not move. The conversation kept going on for a rather long time and due to the body language it did not seem like a professional or business related conversation. The employee looked back and saw me and the extending line multiple times but did not stop his conversation. When finally they did move I found the employee, (Dylan or David, his name started with a D for sure) I found he was a manager. When I asked if there was any reason that took so long, thinking there was a complication or a business related question he sharply told me "We were having a conversation" in a rather rude voice. He was very sharp and clearly upset with me just being there so I didn't say anything out of being so put off and uncomfortable by this interaction. If this was a new employee or an exhausted teenager's first job I would have understood the attitude via lack of experience. But I would have never expected this behavior from a manager. Everything else was fine, my car still has debris on it, my windshield is still dirty, the vacuum couldn't get all of the dirt, and there was no clear area to report the rude behavior, and the expected time to use the vacuums was 10 minutes which felt incredibly too short. Im tired and frustrated and do not think I will be returning anytime soon. read more

I've only had good experiences here and I love that they offer a touchless option because most other places don't. The only thing that is frustrating is the app has a horrible bug and won't let you sign in because when you enter your phone number that part of the app is broken so I can't edit my Payments or vehicles, I have to do it all in person. read more

I have been taking my vehicle to this location for several months. I now have a monthly subscription for unlimited car washes. I went in to change a couple of aspects of my subscription and was greeted cheerfully and professionally by Natalie. Natalie was able to quickly ascertain what I needed and altered my subscription without question or hassle. She even gave me a discount. She was friendly, professional, and is a wonderful representative of this business and of excellent customer service. A great hire! Oh yes, the car wash is really very good as well. I love the way my car shines and the convenience of all the other features they offer to clean carpets, vacuum the interior, and wipe down the windows. read more

This car wash is promoting free car washes on the starving student card. I just got a card and had three car washes for free from this place and was excited to use them, however, the business decided to divorce from commitment to the starving student card that they agreed to be part of earlier in the year. It is quite disappointing as the card is good until October. If you are going to commit to a promotion, commit to it because that is your way of gaining customers or in this case, losing customers. I have paid for their car washes before and they are definitely subpar, but I was thrilled that they were participating in the promotion. I suppose I will just take my business elsewhere. read more

The more I go to other car washes, the more I realize how amazing Shiny Shell is! As Utah trends more towards the style of the Midwest with a new car wash popping up every few months, I've gotten to try a lot of different ones and see the add-ons and wash qua that actually distinguish them. At Mister car wash, it's just the wash and vacuums without anything special. At Quick Quack car wash, you can buy air fresheners and they also have rags you can use to wipe down interiors along with the vacuums. At Shiny Shell, every time you come you can get a free air freshener, and at the vacuums there are rags to use for cleaning the inside of the car and cleaning sprays for windows and other surfaces. There's just no better car wash as far as perks! In addition to the practical features, there's a cute little member's lounge with free sodas and a sprayer for kids to use on the cars going through the wash, and a park outside! The park is always noisy between the car wash sounds and highway, but it's super fun and really made going to the car wash a whole exciting play excursion for my kids! Given all those extra things, the high price of the optimum membership really seems like muuuch better value than the comparable prices of optimum car wash memberships at the other local car washes. read more

This place is great! I love the free mat cleaner and the soda bar is a fantastic touch. I also appreciated that the employee who helped me asked if I wanted a single wash when I pulled up, rather than immediately assuming I'd want to purchase a membership (I hate when places do this haha)! Now I'm actually way more interested in getting a membership. read more
