It was NOT an easy job because he had to work around the existing roof rails (normally these would have to be removed first but it would have required dropping the interior headliner first to remove the bolts securing the roof rails and I didn't have the time nor budget for an additional 5+ hours of prep labor). He explained this all to me in detail beforehand so I opted to go with the alternate approach - which was to install the roof wrap in 3 sections - which I agreed to and would have resulted in 3 very minimally visible seams. So I dropped off my black-roofed Mini and 2 hours later it's done ... Henry was able to wrap the roof in a SINGLE piece of vinyl!! He was able to work around the roof rails and finish it off as though the roof rails were removed when installing the vinyl! You can't even see where the vinyl ends underneath the roof rails - that was AMAZING!!! Honestly he went above and beyond on this install which I know was not easy at all - and his rates were VERY competitive as well. Henry is an "artist" and takes great pride in making his customer happy ... and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is looking for a true professional to customize his/her vehicle. On my first transaction, I got the express car wash for $120. The word "express" doesn't accurately describe this service because Archie spent 2-3 hours thoroughly cleaning the interior and washing the exterior. Since he did such a fantastic job on my 1st car, I requested him to come back to do my 2nd car, and they only charged me $80 for the express wash since I was a repeat customer. On my 3rd transaction, I requested the Minty Exterior Package for $500. This included stage 1 machine polish and ceramic coating that lasts up to 6 months. Archie arrived 1/2 an hour early (as he typically does) and spent over 6 hours on my car. By the time he was finished, my car was sparkling like the brightest star in the sky! His son, Ryan, books all of the appointments and confirms the day before Archie arrives. I liked the fact that I didn't have to wait months in advance to get an appointment. Ryan also follows up afterwards to ensure that you were happy with the work that Archie did. Outstanding customer service! This son & father team are the dream team! Customer service level 2. Professionalism and skillfulness in their service 3. Reasonable price I chose Mint Auto Salon (MAS) and was extremely satisfied with the service. 1. Customer service level : I searched and read through MAS's yelp reviews. Every single reviewer gave MAS a 5-Star rating and positive feedback. 2. Professionalism and skillfulness in their service : The appointment process was easy (gave me the available date/time), and I came out to my house a few minutes earlier than the appointment time (8 AM). Archie explained what he would go through and what could be done and not done (honest but respectful). I chose a Mint Combo Plus (Interior / Exterior) + 1 Year Ceramic / Paint Sealant. Archie told me that it is a full-day job, and right then, I knew he was very thorough and will work on small details that customers care about. I am working from home, and every few hours or so, I went outside to see the progress, and every single time, I was happily and shockingly surprised to see how my black MDX was becoming new. Archie showed me the process (scratch removal) and how and why precisions are needed to avoid further damages that may occur. 3. Reasonable price : As I have received five different quotes, the price levels were similar in all of them. However, MAS explained every single process it would take detailing my car, and while others told me that it would take 2 ~ 3 hours max, MAS's full-day job gave me the confidence to choose them. I am very pleased with MAS's professional service and how Archie worked every bit of detail to ensure his customer was happy with the money he was paying for. I paid for the service with little extra as I was delighted with his meticulous service.
