I cannot recommend ShipMyPets and Bess enough, after my dealings and success with her in getting my Dog to Australia. I had engaged a Pet Transport company in Australia to get my Weimaraner back Home, (Australia), and in the last few weeks that Australian company admitted that they could not obtain Flights, so we were left in a bad state. Step up Bess from ShipMyPets......I contacted Bess, (directed from Emirates), and immediately was impressed by her no fuss obvious knowledge of Worldwide Pet shipping, and what possible options we had to get my Dog out of Chicago to Australia to meet his 8th April Booking at the Australian PEQ center. This was a more than difficult task as Australia has tight limitations on incoming Passengers due to Covid, therefore Flights were not in abundance. As well as limited Flight availability, Australia has probably the most stringent Animal Import requirements in the World. The follow up and feedback from Bess was exceptional, not just on Flights, but also the specific requirements for his Travel, and in a 4 week period, (while the Vet and I were still completing the Final Australian Quarantine treatment requirements), Bess pulled this off and got my Dog onto Qatar Flights going thru the Middle East and connecting on to Australia. He arrived obviously bewildered but safely at the Quarantine Center in Melbourne, and perfectly on time. The VIP's / ShipMyPets facility, (which is approx. 15mins from O'Hare), is as you see on their website, it is fantastic. I left my Dog there for the Night before his Flight out...and yes, he is a typical Weimaraner with separation anxiety issues. Bess took time with him before he flew, and Videos showed he was very comfortable with her, (unusual.!) The great reviews you will find on ShipMyPets are accurate. I am not sure if I would have gotten my beloved Boy home to Australia without Bess's help during this Covid time.....Thank you Bess and ShipMyPets...!! read more

Bess and her team helped me import 6 rescued street dogs from Amman, Jordan to Michigan (via ORD). Since my dogs went via cargo, I needed both an import agent and transport to their destination. ShipMyPets was able to do both (and not all pet transport companies can!), which is so convenient and makes the complicated process so much easier. Having never shipped dogs before, not to mention all the way from the Middle East, I had no idea what I needed to do. Bess was helpful, responsive and very patient with the dozens of emails, messages and questions I sent her. I was nervous about the dogs traveling unaccompanied but thanks to a great team of people, everything went great. My exporter in Amman handled all of the Jordan logistics, and then Bess and her team took over once the dogs arrived to the US, taking care of customs clearance, boarding, and then transport to Great Lakes Humane Society in Traverse City, Michigan. Bess kept me updated each step of the way, sending messages, videos and pictures for which this nervous foster mom was very grateful for. The dogs arrived safe, sound and happy to their destination and were all adopted into fantastic homes thanks to GLHS. Extremely helpful and professional shipper! Our two dogs safely arrived in China this week. The process of dog's international travel is complicated and we are especially worried dog parents. We have contacted almost all pet shippers in North America in Lufthansa Cargo pet transport forwarder list since December 2020, and we assure that Bess is the most communicative, helpful and reliable one! She is always replying emails promptly, helping us prepare everything, explaining every detail and responding to all of our concerns. Since we had to reschedule dog's travel and redo the health certificate right before their travel, Bess patiently helped us rebook the cargo several times to find the normal rate for our Golden Retriever (his flight rate always spikes as he is using the giant 48-inch kennel)! Besides, we also boarded our dogs in the VIPs hotel for an extended period of time before they departed, and they are doing very well! Bess and Dave took great care of my dogs during the boarding and before the check-in for their travel. Shatha is an absolute godsend, as was everyone we've dealt with while shipping with ShipMyPets! My wife and I moved from the US to the UK for my masters program and we needed to bring our two kitties with us. There was a lot of uncertainty due to waiting for the visas to come back and a lot of changes to travel dates and flights and such (sometimes with less than a day's notice).
