I cannot overstate how happy I am with the service rendered by Shipito. I sent a bunch a expensive photo gear from different vendors, consolidated in one package and succesfully shipped it via FedEx to Cancun, Mexico. When I purchased gear online from Amazon, I foolishly did not add my Shipito box number on the address. The product was shipped to their Meridian address, and the Shipito team was able to help me retrieve and resolve. Highly recommend for those like me, living abroad. read more

I purchased a pair of heated socks and heated pants and was never clearly warned that shipping could cost hundreds of dollars. After my package arrived, I was shocked to see shipping quotes ranging from over $200 to nearly $500. To make matters worse, I spent more than two hours with customer support, following instructions and paying the requested fees, only to be told afterward that my shipment could not proceed. Information was provided little by little, often only after I had already completed the previous step. The customer service was equally frustrating. Responses were short, cold, and lacked any real effort to help. Instead of feeling supported, I felt like I was constantly chasing answers. Ive submitted 1583 form to be able to send letters on May 26th, 2025. The Customer support told be to wait. Since then, the customer support has not been replying to any of my requests on WHEN the form will be added so that I can finally send my letters. Im filing support tickets, email them - total ignore. The trick is that every week is an extra $ for storage. The 3 letters will not cost me over 140 USD extra if i ever going to send them. I am extremely disappointed and shocked at the level of service provided by Shipito. I paid nearly $1,000 AUD to have a package delivered from the Torrance, California warehouse to my address in Australia. The package, worth $2,000, was shipped via UPS over two months ago. The package got stuck in Canada and was then sent back to the Shipito warehouse in California. UPS tracking confirmed that it was received and signed for by someone named Joyce. Since then, I have heard nothing. I've done everything possible to resolve this: Sent two emails Raised multiple service tickets Sent over 10 messages Called three times and left messages with the claims department Despite all this, I have not received a single response. My $3,000 (the value of the package plus shipping) is effectively gone, and the lack of accountability is appalling. I cannot believe a company can treat its customers this way. I'm a US citizen who currently lives in the EU. We signed up with Shipito in 2017 when we moved. The forwarding service was fine for years but my account was suddenly deactivated for 'suspected fraudulent activity.' The timing was odd as it was just after I sent my notarized USPS form and ID info by mail. The USPS tracking confirmed that it arrived. I'd been in contact with someone called 'Mario' but all communication from Shipito dropped. I received no response to my many emails and calls. I was also unable to login to my account to start a customer service ticket. We had a letter in their warehouse from the IRS that needed to be forwarded here that they never bothered to send! At first, I wondered if they'd gone out of business but no, they were still just chugging along, totally unprofessional and disrespectful. One package made it so far into my suite but another package got lost even if Tracking ID show's it got delivered. I contacted their support through chat and opened support tickets but since they confirmed that the package is lost nothing else happened. Terrible service. Customer support who lied to their customer saying it can be cancelled when the item was in their warehouse only to pull the rug out from under and said the item had already been shipped 3 hours later. Chose the Express Shipping option only to have them hold my package for whatever reason until 5 days later. They charged me $5 for that too. When confronted, rude customer support "Martin" wasted 30min to come up with no resolution and proceeds to passive aggressively try to taunt the customer. I made two different orders with APPLE. I choose the 2 hour delivery. I was tracking both couriers on the Apple website. They arrived at the Oregon warehouse almost in the same time. The packages shown delivered with a 2 minutes difference between them. In 10 minutes I have received an email from Shipito ONLY FOR ONE of the packages. I waited 3 days and the second one was not uploaded into the account. I contacted their customers service. Of course that is a joke. They don't have a real customer service department. Only a bunch of incompetents that are opening "tickets" with your conversation with them and send it to the warehouse. If you contact them again they will do the same thing and open a new ticket and so on. I now have 5 tickets opened without any replies. They don't have a way of contacting the warehouse and see what exactly is happening. And the most important part is that you can open that kind of ticket directly from your account without their help. So basically they don't really do anything. Is just a cover up for the company to say they offer customer service. And don't bother to try and call, the answering machine will request a code that you will not know and they will not provide one when you ask them about that by chat. So after opening 5 tickets no one is replying, no one is telling me where is my package. And if I contact the "customer service chat"they will open a new ticket. I suppose someone took my package. I also asked them to check the cameras at the same time the first package was received and they will see what happened. Is that easy. So you need to imagine how safe your packages are if they disappear and no one cares. I will need to contact Apple and return the first packeting because I don't need the items. Timing is important, but not for them. And they charge you for this services. But how I could "charge" them because of my lost time? I can't. This is not the only issue I had with them. Many years ago I had other issues and even the owner have the same attitude. They just don't care. I mean....of course the employee will behave like that if the owner of the company is doing this. I remember that one time I had 5 envelopes there and when they "consolidate" those, they put 5 envelopes in a BOX and charge $100 for that. Really? When you have 5 envelopes you put them in an bigger ENVELOPE. They did that after and I paid $30. Nice job! But probably most of the other providers are the same. At least they have a better system put in place. I would not work with them. A good company is one that solve issues. They struggle with that from the beggining. They held my package claiming that my medical device is a prohibited pornographic item, and that they would go ahead and dispose of it for me... and then they refuse to refund any of the express fees or the declaration fees which have so far been of no help This is Shipito Minden Nevada Also, another package of mine was shipped from them in december and is still being held in customs mexico, and Shipito Minden Nevada has consistantly told me that its my problem to handle the package after it leaves their doors .... WELL IF THATS THE CASE ... They then waited to ship the item until after my storage had expired, then waited 10 days to notify me of the delay, then attempted to extort another $20 for storage fees. I received a package via UPS. Shipito would not mail it out to me unless I get a USPS (nothing to do with UPS) form 1583 notarized and sent to them. The customer service representative, Erisa, gave me the link to an online service to notarize the form, saying that if I use the service with the link she gave me. I would not have to mail to form, the service would send it to them directly. This costed more than $100, but I did it. Now, Shipito is refusing this notarized form by the site THEY told me to use, and are asking me to get the form notarized via a different link than what the customer representative initially sent me. I am trapped, have to pay hundreds of dollars to get my package mailed to me, and powerless unless I give up on my package, which I absolutely refuse to do. This is a total rip off, I am beyond furious. Do NOT use their service, you will only pay insane mailing charges, and sometimes be stuck having to pay ridiculous amounts of money for a notarized form that should not be required. read more

I was recently scammed on eBay by a buyer in India who stole someone's credit card to buy an expensive item. I was alerted by eBay after I had already shipped the item to this Shipito mailing address (the buyer requested 1 day shipping), and I was panicked at the prospect of losing the item and the payment. I read all of these reviews and assumed Shipito was a company that facilitated fraud, and I was so worried I'd never get my item back. Frantic, I sent Shipito an email as soon as I found out on Friday and I called them as well. On Monday, they responded to the email and confirmed they still had the package!!!! They worked with me to confirm fraud, and they immediately shut down the account and prevented anything from being shipped to or from the mailbox. Because the item hadn't been shipped out yet, they gave me instructions on how to have my package sent back to me. I just emailed them a return label. They said it would take 1-2 business days to process and ship back out to me. Nancy seems to be their point of contact customer support person, and she is amazing. She explained to me in depth what happens in these cases and what can be done. I called her another time and she was amazingly helpful again. Their contact information on their site works, and you can reach them that way. Yes, fraud is messed up, and it happens to the best of us. It's unfortunate that sites like eBay do nothing to help curb scammers. It would be good advice for any sellers, to match up the contact information on an eBay account (or whatever you're using) and the payment information. If it doesn't match up, you may likely be getting scammed. I wish I had checked this, because it was a tell-tale sign. It was an important lesson is doing your due diligence especially if it's a pricier item. In sum, Shipito is a legitimate company with thousands of positive reviews over years by people who use their site legitimately. Yes, some scammers use the site, but there are things you can do to prevent this or resolve this. If you're quick enough on the take, reaching out to Shipito as soon as possible could get you your package back. I was extremely panicked and worried, and Shipito worked with me to get my package back. They were even diligent with following up with me after I had dropped the ball. read more

I have used Shipito for a couple of years now. Primarily to buy things online in the US and ship on to me in the UK. When I began using them the service was of an acceptable standard, the cost wasn't too high and the packages arrived reasonably promptly. Then prices increased and they began to do things like the rounding up of weights for shipping cost calculations, a cheap trick. It took longer for parcels to arrive. And then, I had such an appalling experience with them I have closed my account and am now using a different company. I ordered 4 pairs of shorts that were emphatically cheaper to buy in the US than here in England and paid for them to be sent to me. The first thing I should mention is that the shipping cost was approximately $40. This is an incredible mark up on what the real shipping costs would have been. I have had items sent to me via USPS, UPS, DHL and others and have a rough idea of what the cost would have been and I suspect it would have been less than a third of the amount shipito charged me. Shipito promptly sent them off and the delivery partner in europe was hermes. Hermes are known to be probably the worst shipping company in the UK. I presume shipito partner with them for cost reasons. The package entered hermes' warehouse local to me where it was promptly lost. This is where the issues began. From this point onwards the whole process was a nightmare with nobody taking ownership and me having to push for a resolution constantly. Hermes received the parcel and lost it, something they confirmed to me. At this point the correct course of action would be to say, no problem, we apologise, what was in it, and issue a refund. Instead, they told me they would conduct an "investigation" which would take 28 working days, ie more than a calendar month. What on earth they had to investigate I don't know. They got the parcel, then they lost it. That doesn't take over 35 days to establish. I doubt they investigated anything at all to be honest, it seems like a tactic designed to make people give up. At the end of this "investigation" they referred me back to shipito saying that shipito would sort it out. So i contacted customer services. And thus began weeks of support tickets being ignored and unanswered. Eventually via a support ticket I was told that, despite having openly admitting they had lost my items, because I hadn't purchased additional insurance, hermes wouldn't pay to replace them. I have to ask, why is hermes allowed to behave like this? They lost the package, their problem, they need to fix it. What I did or didn't do at this point is totally immaterial. Shipito should have gone into bat for me at this point, as their customer, but instead seemed to be hoping that I would go away. So I looked at review sites and saw that assorted negative reviews were replied to with a request to email "marketing@shipito.com". I thought I would do this to try and get things fixed up. I got a reply the same day, which I then replied to, and then nothing. I sent in three more emails chasing and all three were ignored. So I decided i wanted to speak to the CEO David Nielsen and the general manager, Dave Robinson. I emailed customer services asking for their details, and was of course ignored. I tried via livechat to source the same and ended up speaking to the same person who had answered the first email to marketing@. This lady refused to give me either of the aforementioned peoples email addresses. It seems odd that a business has senior people insulate themselves from genuine customer contact like this. It makes me wonder if they are aware of the practices shipito engages in. That's a different discussion however. I then had an extremely frustrating exchange with this individual which ended with a begrudging offer of approximately a third of what I was out of pocket by, and being told I was lucky to get that, as they had made 'an exception' for me. There was repeated reference to 'policies' as to why they couldn't issue a full refund, policies that curiously don't apply with myus.com, as confirmed by them when I signed up immediately afterwards. This person even almost scolded me for suggesting that they should be forcing Hermes to refund me what I had lost - "shipito is a business and has to act accordingly". A truly bizarre statement to make. I'm never going to use shipito again. A business can be either brilliant at what it does, cheap in cost to the user, or provide amazing service. It must be one of those, ideally two and in a perfect world all three. Shipito is none of these things. I don't want a reply nor do I want to email marketing@shipito.com to discuss it. I sent a package to Shipito because I wanted it sent to Brazil. I scheduled my trip to Brazil and asked him to join another package that would also go to the same place. When I tried to send they lost 1 packet and gave me 1 week to find it. I waited and nothing With that I had to send one of the packages for a super fast shipment that cost me dearly. After a long time they found my package and I asked Amazon to collect the order, I would return it. UPS had scheduled a pickup of the order but Shipito did not deliver. Soon I missed the first chance to return the order. With that I had to pay another delivery to go to a company in the US and Amazon would try another return. But the same day they lost my package again, which made me delay sending. As soon as the package arrived at the destination I needed the name of the person I received with the signature. But I do not have the account number of who sent it and again to Shipito did not report. Bad company, that made me spend money for nothing. Do you really think I wanted to have my lost product? And then pay freight to the US? If I wanted it delivered in the US I would have used Amazon's delivery, I would never need you. Our parcel was delivered to the Shipito warehouse at the end of May (confirmed by tracking) and a few days later was not on the system. We raised the concern and was asked to provide confirmation delivery and address which we did. Then we were asked to provide proof of the actual purchase (red flags raised here, however we provided all information they asked for). Then a week later they advised that they advised that the tracking stated 'refused, returned to sender'. We were confused as to why it was accepted and then returned. We contacted our supplier who advised that the parcel had been returned... however it had been opened, emptied and retaped. The only thing returned to the supplier was an empty container! The item we were waiting on was the only one we could find to complete a vehicle restoration and therefore holds up the entire job!
