Called Shiraz party rental to obtain a quote at 4:30pm today. I figured living im Glendale I'd rather give my business to a local business. When I called a lady picked up the phone sounded rushed but asked to put me on hold which I agreed. A couple minutes later it sounded as if she had come back to the line but it was hard to tell as she sounded like she was talking to someone else and says "Let me call you back" and hangs up. As she is saying this I wasn't sure if she was talking to me or to another person "maybe a friend?" As she did not sound professional, but at the click of the phone I realized she was talking to me. A few minutes later she called me back and while I did bring it to her attention of being rude and just hanging up she seemed quite annoyed and rushed taking my call so I said thank you but I'd rather take my business elsewhere. First impressions are everything and being a business owner myself I find these behavior unacceptable with any potential or existing client. The owner of the company is a very rude person. They told me they have availability for my wedding date 2 weeks prior, they were suppose to give me a quote on how much the whole deal will cost me. I was getting over 300 chairs plus table.. he contacted me and gave me a high quote compared to everyone else, when I asked if he can work out a deal since his son said he will get me a good price compared to other rental companies, he replied " I'm booked for that date, go and rent it from other vendors" what kind of a business owner responds like that? First things first, we had such an AMAZING experience with this rental company! I have worked with many rental companies in the past, and what I loved most about Shiraz Party Rental is that you can tell they truly care about the experience you have with them. We worked with the owner closely to ensure that everything for my dad's surprise 60th birthday was a success, they even came a few weeks before the event to recommend what pieces would look best in our backyard. We went for a "farmhouse glam" feel since the party was outdoors, and it came out so so great. All their products were in near perfect condition (even the gold silverware!), and everything arrived very clean (which means a lot to me!!). We had requested the delivery to take place on the morning of the party, which they very nicely accepted, since normally rental deliveries take place the day before an event. The delivery team came on time, helped with setting up everything (and more) and picked up the following day very timely. I've experienced him deliver to Beverly Hills (Greystone Mansion), LA River Center, Buena Park, Pasadena, Glendale and San Fernando Valley. The price is VERY VERY competitive. While some would charge $14 for a chivari, George would be willing to negotiate and bring it down to $12 a chair, and that's with delivery, set-up, take down, and removal! To Costa Mesa!!! They have lounge chairs, polyester linens, napkins. a few selections of specialty linens, chandeliers, catering equipment, lighting, etc. read more

Shiraz Party Rental, from beginning to end was a disaster. Not only do they falsely advertise their products, their inventory is in horrible condition. If you are having a nice event and need quality service and equipment that works, go somewhere else. And forget trying to get a refund on a heat lamp that three people spent over an hour trying to turn on. Apparently once you sign their delivery contract, it doesn't matter if you, your bartender and experienced catering staff can't make it work, that's on you. And by the looks of the greasy bucket of screws they left behind, I'm just thankful that two of the three lamps worked. But at the end of the day, that just doesn't cut it.
