The Grilled Chicken Platter for my child was the most disappointing -- it's listed as "grilled" on the menu, but the chicken came out barely touched. Pale, soft, almost like it was steamed and then given a quick pass on the grill just for looks. The mashed potatoes and corn on the side were fine -- nothing special. I'll give credit where it's due -- the ambiance is genuinely great. Eating with a direct view of Mount Rushmore is a cool experience you won't get anywhere else, and the dining area has a nice open feel to it. Service was also okay, no real complaints there. It's a beautiful view of Mount Rushmore. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Our salads were nothing to ride home about, but there were reasonably priced, and the view was wonderful. However, the homemade ice cream was exceptional. Unfortunately the cones were huge & double scoops; no kiddie cups here. The huckleberry cheesecake was sublime!
