There's a parking garage below the store, and you can take the stairs to head in. The store also sells other items that you might need for hiking and going into the park. If you go for name brand products, you might find the store to be expensive. We went for store brand products which cut a good chunk of our cost! I.e. eggs were ~$3 store brands vs. $7 name brand. It's not visible from the main street, so just drive slowly and keep your eyes alert! The Dam Store is known for its high incidence of lottery winners. There are flyers posted on the windows with cash award amounts and winners' names. Of course, I had to get at least one ticket. It was a souvenir from my quest for the Statesman Badge! Yay!!! I didn't know that there were different lottery games. The friendly cashier helped me select the game with the highest reward ($13 million). I wasn't able to check in on my Yelp app because I had no signal from AT&T. Luckily, Jean C, of Las Vegas (we just met in real life) has Verizon, and suggested that I used her phone to check in! Thank goodness she came along for the ride! She is a Genius! Her idea worked! Hurray! I had check ins from Honolulu, Nevada, Utah, and now Arizona! The coveted and long sought after Statesman Badge was finally mine after years of trying! Let's hope our lottery ticket is lucky, too!

We called the store immediately, spoke to the manager. She said she couldn't help us we needed to call Maverick's customer service. We described the man that helped us and told her we felt we had been scammed She referred us to customer service again. We called customer service they were closed for day. We called our debit card company they needed info we couldn't provide since we were driving. We called them the next morning and magically we were issued a $175.00 credit on our debit card. We don't know if this was a scam or a fluke but looking back the behavior of the older gentleman seemed suspicious. Just be aware.
