It's Saint Patrick's day and I bring my car up in the morning to drop it off and when I let Jim know I called a week ago about an oil change and my car hesitating at acceleration his response was "it won't happen today I'm booked" ....well Jim, why didn't you schedule an appointment like I asked? So I responded "you're booked? But you wouldn't take an appointment from me a week ago when I asked?" He says "Fine! I'll get it done along with these other nine cars today!!" Quite frankly, I'm not trusting an unorganized, unprofessional jerk with my car. No longer a customer.

I needed new tires on my scooter and didn't really know who offered that service. I called a…read morespecialty scooter shop who told me they could "probably do it but most times they end up taking the scooters to Donelson's for tire balancing". So I cut out the middle person and called Donelson's directly. They let me know they had been crazy busy but would order my tires and once they were in I could drop the scooter off and they would "work it in" to get the tires done. This may seem odd but some other places I called wanted me to drop my scooter off that day and let it sit til they could get to it - could be 4-6 weeks they said. Donelson told me it's prob be a week or so once the tires were in. They ordered the tires, called me and let me know. I dropped the scooter off and they had the replacement done in about 2 days. There was a snafu with the wrong tires being ordered and them needing to put a different set on (my fault as I provided the tire size). Even with that taking place it still only took them 2 days. I had paid in advance for the tires and we had to rework the bill due to the tire swapout, but even that was handled with grace and I paid the difference. They also performed an inspection for me while they had my scooter. Overall nice experience - especially compared to the run around I got from some other places when calling around. Reason I took off 1 star is noone there knows anything outside of their specific dept. So on 1 call they transferred me multiple times - from parts to inquire about the tires, then to service to find out how much service cost, then back to parts because I asked another tire related question, then back to service to talk about the inspection. It'd be nice if they were aware enough of each area to speak to it.

I've had to spend over $1500 to get something repaired that should've been covered under warranty because it was slowing and stopping my business, and due to his unprofessionalism and miscommunication, he makes unprofessional upfront, but when it comes to honoring his service, you can't depend on him.
