Dropped my 25 rzr off for insurance work. They said they would work with the insurance company. They did bare minimum working with insurance. Didn't send 3rd supplement in so I had to get the run around from both stl powersport and State Farm. Chasing checks because the owner is only in once a week when he wants to be. If your going to Nickle and dime charge a customer atleast complete the work that was asked of you too do. Requested maintenance service was told no problem we can do it. Welp come to find out they didn't. Needless to say won't be back. Go to surdyke in festus they won't give you the run chasing answers around like this place and hold to their word. read more

Several years ago our son took a 4 wheeler here for repair and they stole his hitch. We called recently to look at a side by side they had in stock. We told them the one we were interested in. We told them we would be there in 3 hours. When we arrived they sent it to their Fenton store (within those three hours). Prior to that we had called the Fenton store about 2 side by sides they had in stock and the guy said he would call us back in 10 minutes. Never called back. Terrible customer service. We went to Troy to purchase instead. read more

Needed an inspection done on a side by side and after being transferred to the service department 4 times and they said bring it in 3 1/2 weeks from now and we MIGHT get around to it (ended up taking it to a different place a little further and they got it done the same day). Called again a couple of weeks later to ask about prices for parts for a UTV and was IMMEDIATELY put on hold for over 10 minutes before I just hung up. My husband and I tried to purchase a side-by-side on July 31, 2020 but the Fenton location could not get the MCO to our bank and eventually the sale fell through. We'd keep calling but they never got back to us about the vehicle so we just assumed they sold it. At that time, they told us we could put a deposit of $500 down to hold the vehicle, but they never ran our card either, even though we provided the number. Fast forward to September 4, 2020. We haven't had any communication with this dealership in a month and I just saw a charge on my credit card from September 2 for $500, which means they held on to our CC information this whole time and just used it for a deposit in a sale that clearly isn't happening. If I could give negative stars I would. Now I have to get my $500 back and go change my credit card number. What a nightmare. read more

I have gone to the store and told them what I want and the salesman just helps someone else. OR sent online request on certain in stock units and get nothing. These guys are the only Sea-Doo authorized service technicians in the area, so when I sold my Lake Ozark house and moved them up here I started using them for my pre-season tuneups and to get the rocks out of the impeller. They're usually booked 2 months in advance during the Summer, so plan accordingly. I paid on average, $700 per Sea-Doo every year to get them up and running and in good working order which usually requires a new battery (unless you know to trickle charge them yourself over the Winter). When you spend that kind of money you would hope they would get washed down for you but, nope. Had an issue this one last time where they gave them back to me without checking the batteries, though, so when I got them all the way in the water that's when I find out one won't start. Back to the shop and had to argue with a tech to even see me without making a completely new appointment. Service manager fixed me right up, however and I stopped in on a Saturday. He tested the batteries and found the one dead one, pointing me to a local car parts shop in the area to get a pre-charged battery so I could get right back out on the water. Had to install that myself, however. Once again on the water, discovered the 2nd Sea-Doo also had a dead battery. Bottom line... these guys need to check the batteries when they charge this much for a pre-season yearly checkup on $17,000 Sea-Doos. I am learning how to do my part by trickle charging and changing the batteries myself, so things should go a little smoother from here on out. read more

After a week and a half of them having it they called me and told me to come up and pick it up it was ready. When I arrived at the store they told me they forgot to mention they had to order a part and it would be in in less than 2 days. I called a week later and was told that the part would be another week or so they would let me know when it was ready. After 2 weeks they let me know that my carburetor was ready to be picked up. The price had doubled whenever I arrived at the store and they charged me $200 to install two Springs. I will never be back to that place again it's sad that there's no good carburetor rebuild service around St Louis read more

After being underwhelmed by customer service a few times, I contacted the owner. He investigated the situations and went above and beyond to rectify the customer service issues. He's a really nice guy - have mutual friends and they said he's great. Unfortunately, I still don't know about the customer service. There is constant swearing in the shop and before and after customer phone calls, the employees express their annoyance with the customers. read more

Husband and I came in to inquire about atv's. We were hoping to speak with a sales person as we were still deciding between brands. There was one other couple there who were being helped. We began looking at the different 4 wheelers, expecting a salesman to come up to us. I guess there was only 1 working that day (a Saturday afternoon), because after waiting 20 minutes and still not being waited on we left, with still many questions left unanswered. 3 weeks later we went to BIG St. Charles Motorsports (at the same time on a Saturday afternoon) and we counted at least 15 guys working on the floor. We had all our questions answered and ended up buying from them. Maybe if St. Louis Powersports staffed more people they would do more business, people wouldn't have to walk out without being helped at all. read more

I did not have the same experience as the prior reviewers. I overall had a pretty good experience. I suspect most expect a car dealer kind of experience. It kind of is but not quite. It is also a retail store. I admit I did some research on-line prior to coming in and I also phoned to speak with a salesman. When I arrived after work I perused the parking lot and then the showroom. They have a good number of UTVs, ATVs and motorcycles, Can-Ams. I was here to look at a Kawasaki and they had exactly one in stock. Armed with a salesman's name I wandered to the back counter and dropped the name. Within minutes I was introduced and being fed stats. The purchase was overall easy. There was some negotiating room despite the fact that the vehicle was the only one I could find in St. Louis that week. They also helped with some accessories at a discounted price. I was also offered to have the vehicle brought to my house within a certain mile radius. I deferred. My one complaint was that on the day I came to pick up my vehicle it was a little busy and I felt the pick up process was a little rushed. Overall a satisfying experience. I'll update this if I need to use their service department. read more

I'm not one for giving bad reviews but this is the third time that I've had bad experiences with their horrible service Department, but this incident was the last straw - I bought a new razor in for simple maintenance that I bought from them 3 years earlier to get oils filters changed (regular maintenance)and they forgot to re fill tranny/ transfer case with oil - tranny burnt up after 4 hrs - knowing that their service guys have done this before with other customer razors they paid for a remanufactured tranny/ transfer case but they made me pay for labor of $550 since my warranty was no longer on this unit- (I pay for labor because they forget to refill tranny with oil? And they even admitted to not filling unit after they inspected tranny case)so it gets better -again they forgot to fill the brand new remanufactured tranny/ transfer case that they just installed with NO oil !!but this time I catch it before it completely burns up -so I took it back to them again and negotiated a horrible traded in value with them / us knowing about the damaged remanufactured tranny that had metal shavings In it from their service Department again not filling unit with oil for a brand new full price (no price break for their incompetence service Department for destroying my razor that only had 100 hrs ) can am maverick and moved on from that place - my brand new can am will be maintenanced / warrantied with Big St. Charles motorsports dealership- not some incompetent service Department at St. Louis powersports - I've have bought 5 brand new Atvs or side by sides from them and it seems like the place is constantly going down hill year by year-my advice is to stay away from this place until they get their service Department in check----- read more

Jon and his team at STL Power Sports are amazing! I have purchased several things there and I am always treated fairly and with outstanding customer service. Prices for motorcycle accessories are totally fair and they have even called their competition for me to find parts they were out of. I've had service done there on my metric cruiser and they got me in super fast and although their hourly rate was a little higher than my previous mechanic, they completed the job in half the time he could have done it. Waited three weeks to get on there service schedule for my Can Am. Took it in for service on Friday 6/30/17, they called me later that day and told me it needed new spark plugs and the gas changed out. They told me they were out of stock on spark plugs and had to order them. I called them to follow up on Thursday and had to leave a message on there answer machine. They never called me back, so I called the the next day, after waiting on hold for 8 minutes they said they would have to call me back. 5 hours later I called them back and finely got someone to give me answers. They said they just got the spark plugs in today and should have the repair done on Saturday 7/08/17. Don't you think they would have a supply of spark plugs or be able to get plugs in a day or two? They need better customer service and someone that will answer the phone. Next time for service I will go to Big St. Charles Motorsports. read more

I have never written 2 review for 1 business but this situation warrants such. I took my GSXR 1000 to St Louis Power sports service department due to a lower end noise/vibration. I was very worried that it would be the crank or some sort of lower end issue and was prepared to spend whatever it took to get the problem resolved. I made my appointment and took the bike in on Thursday at the end of the business day. I wasn't expecting it to be looked at until Tuesday. On Friday I received the best call ever. Nick and his AWESOME team found the problem and fixed it. It was a simple issue of a retaining clip rubbing the flywheel. This speaks volumes to the honesty and integrity of the service department. My bill was less than 10% of what I expected. They could have easily told me the crank was bad and either needlessly replaced it or say they replaced it and did nothing. I would have no way of knowing. There are some shops out there that would certainly do that but not STLPS! I will never let any one but Nick and his expert techs. lay hands on my prized possession. worst service ever. these people know nothing what's so ever about customer service. they will not call you back and attempts to talk to management go unanswered. they can not diagnose relatively simple issues and then what to do major repairs that are not required.
