I hired a cheap mobile mechanic from the East Alton area to do my spark plugs and coil packs on my f150 and some other suspension work. I got what I paid for which was cheap work that led me to calling someone else. I found Red Hawks Mobile Mechanics. I was skeptical given my previous experience but I read a lot of good reviews with people who had great experiences with quality work. I reached out at 930 pm last night my previous mechanic had broken plugs and tried to cover up the damages, my motor was shaking bad, and my back suspension was left loose. Cliff showed up today and immediately began to remove the broken plugs and fix all the problems I was left with from the last guy. This man is very experienced and did not once leave me nervous or in doubt. He's very skilled and in one day had my truck running great and the codes and check engine light cleared that the last guy left me with as well as tightened up my shocks and went over some other things I was concerned with . Absolutely a pleasure to work with! I called Red Hawk for my friend at 12:50 pm on Sunday Father's Day during a massive storm. My friend was moving from Missouri to Michigan and was only 3 hours into his road trip when the alternator failed. Red Hawk drove over 40 miles to meet us and had the car back on the road before 4 pm. He replaced the alternator incredibly fast and, while he was there, also spotted and fixed a separate broken ground wire. He took the time to explain everything clearly and tested the repair multiple times to make sure everything was working perfectly. I was looking for a mobile mechanic. My car during the extreme California heat what's causing my vehicle to overheat only during driving in town that was staying fine on the highway. Cliff wasn't in California yet he was able to over the phone let me know the issues that were going on with my vehicle and what I should have looked at.
