The other reviews weren't kidding when they said they follow you around the store while you shop...My brother and I came to this store to go shoe shopping and there was 3 employees that kept either pretending to work in the same aisle as we were in or just stand in the aisle to stare at us while we browsed. This shoe place has a large selection of different types of athletic wear. They helped me find my size & the color I needed. The service was great. So I came in today to Shoe City to buy some Van's. As soon as my boyfriend and I walked in we we're greeted with a "Welcome" with made me feel acknowledged. Ali then asked "if we needed any help" and came over and helped me get my size, since they were at the very bottom. After finding my size, I paid and Ali welcomed me to spin the wheel. It landed on "FREE SHOES", I was able to pick any shoes within the same price range. Ali was super nice about it, my whole experience here was great! Bought a pair of bear paw boots about a week ago and they ripped from one of the seams. Only used twice. Waste of money . Low quality shoes.

Our go to store for my family's converse, toms or Roxy sandals. Located in a small plaza off Bellflower and Artesia. Parking is limited as it is shared with multiple businesses. Customer service is friendly they're always at the door to greet and will check up on you every so often to offer help, which I think is great because I don't have to go look for them when I find a pair that catches our eyes. Prices are awesome and location is convenient when I want to avoid the malls or crowded shopping centers. I would definitely recommended this place especially if you're shopping for and with the family. Its more convenient and quick (^_^) read more

The place is kept neat. However, the staff is very rude. I tried telling the lady that i was going to touch the shoe and the lady basically just stared at me. I was looking at a pair of shoes trying to figure out if they were the same as a pair ive been looking for. The lady literally stood behind me the whole time. I think she got impatient and literally walked up to me and handed me the shoes without asking me if i decided to get them. The boxes where right in front of me literally. I had already seen they had the size. I was alone and literally had a small handback not even a pair of baby shoes let alone one baby shoe would fit in my bag. I felt uncomfortable. Besides that the place is neat and things are easy to find. They have popular brands and a good selection of shoes. But, as other reviewers have stated, they hover over and watch you the whole time. When they ask you if you need help, it seems as if they only ask to let you know that they are, indeed, watching you rather than for the sake of good customer service. I came in recently to buy a new pair of shoes because my last ones were falling apart. Naturally, I wanted to try on a couple different pairs to see which had the best fit. The 2 employees on shift were tailing me pretty closely, fixing the shoes on the shelf nearby as I was choosing, and only really looked away from me to stare down another customer who walked in. When they were first hovering over me I almost thought I was imagining things, but I could really see the look of judgement in their eyes when they looked at the other guy as if he were a criminal (He was just looking for a pair of shoes!!!) It even continued when I had chosen my pair and went up to pay. The guy at the register got mad at me for accidentally removing my card from the chip reader too soon and then when I asked if I would get a receipt (he said "have a nice day" without looking at me or gesturing to hand me a receipt, so I was just asking to clarify). Absolutely terrible way to treat your customers and I guarantee I will not be back. read more

Just not enough selection.Nice staff ,just not enough big men's sizes.The skate shoes need to be updated.the styles are all to wrong for today's skaters.the nikes are a little on the pricey side as well I could get the same shoes at another store for half the price their selling them for,including the women's shoes. read more
