I came here and helped the finding some pills, but unfortunately, they don't label which heels have wide width. I went down every single aisle and every other DSW I've been to has a little black placard that says available and wide with. Not one of their heels or sandals had this display. I was not about to spend my time going through every single shoe to find a wide with shoe or heel that I needed. Very disappointed in this since DSW is one of the few places you can get White Whitfield. I really hope that the staff here makes it easier for shoppers to find what they're looking for without having to waste all the time to find out ourselves if they have wide width or not. read more

Nice big store for an assortment of shoes. They no longer have a color tier of discounts. It's no a flat discount of 30% off ticketed items and everything in the clearance section. The DSW employee told me it's due to the tariffs. Customer service wasn't bad, but it certainly was great. They were there if you could catch them, lol. read more

Came in looking for a wide foot all black shoe for work. I was greeted immediately and explained the deals and sales they had going on. I had a wedding coming up and I ordered shoes online in various sizes for my sons to try on and we kept a pair. I also ordered various shoes for my wedding shoes and kept one pair. Most of these shoes weren't available at the store to try on and then went back later for a separate reason to exchange a pair of casual shoes and was denied the return. Apparently they use an outside company to track returns and then they deny them I would never order from DSW again! Buyer beware- now you know they use this company and will deny the return. It's not the employees fault as they use a 3rd party called the Retail Equation. But you should be aware that as a company DSW uses this company to track and deny returns. read more

I forgot that DSW accepts shoe donations, so today I made a donation of several pairs of shoes. How it works is that for every pair of shoes 50 points are added to your account, and when you achieve points you may use the points when you make a purchase. This review is for the exceptional customer service experience I had with team member Ariana. Back story: I placed an online order in May, never received the merchandise. I called around end of July and was promised the packages would be resent. However despite emails and calls I never got anything at my home. Fast forward to today, I got a call from Ariana, letting me know that the orders were sitting at the store location for quite a long period. She placed the call despite her manager telling her to just refund my account. That is really doing the extra mile. I had given up and was going to call DSW customer service for a refund . Am super glad she called. Location is next to what was a "bed bath and beyond ", now getting revamped as a Sprouts. I have special sized feet so I usually have to order online as the location doesn't carry them. Overall clean and well stocked store. My next order I will have sent to this location, for in person pick up. read more

Unfortunately, I came with my mom and we didn't know they closed at 7 and we walked in at 6:57 and as soon as the worker spotted us she instantly told us that they close in 2 minutes. I didn't think much about it because I only came to check for something I already knew I wanted, but then another worker he came up to my mom and basically started rushing us telling us that they are closing and to basically wrap it up. My mom didn't pay attention to what he said but it's dumb because if your going to close in 2 minutes why do you keep letting people in if you won't let them in to browse the store. I get they have their own store hours, but rushing a guest after letting them into the store is just disrespectful. read more

Went in to return a brand new pair of sandals that ripped easily. Wasn't sure what to expect. I was OK with an exchange or refund . I appreciate the integrity of the store . Aldo the manager made my refund pretty easy . It made me at ease knowing that I would get my money back because the sandals were pretty expensive. read more

Great to finally have a big shoe store near Long Beach with selections for f uniqueness and price ranges!

I bought two pairs of shoes for work, on-line. The heels did not satisfy the safety requirements of my company. I couldn't see the problem in the pictures and descriptions. So I took the shoes back to my local DSW. Miguel was the person who assisted me for my refund. He was prompt and efficient. He was also INCREDIBLY HELPFUL. I told him what I was looking for and how I wanted to get two pair of matching shoes, one brown and one black. He said he understood and spent a good 15-20 minutes on his iPad trying to gong the shoes that would work for me. Unfortunately, he was unsuccessful - but it wasn't due to lack of effort. I hardly come to DSW because I could never find my size with good deals. However, their shop online and pick up in store makes shopping really easy. Even though my online order didn't work out, I was able to find a really good deal with a coupon they mailed me! This location is very convenient with easy parking. The shoes where already worn. I think this company resells return items as new. What's up with all the females that work here?they act like they hate their job,ask for help or to find something in the back and they're quick to say they don't have it even if they do. Had to come back here a few times to get my issue resolved. The manger has a bad attitude too,said thank you and she didn't say anything because she was forced to do an exchange over their fault. read more

I love this store. This was my first time in this location. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. They have a great selection of shoes, and larger sizes and wide which is what I needed. 1 star because I paid $140 for a pair of shoes as a gift and when the shoes arrived, they were clearly used. The sole was dirty as well as rhinestones missing. When I took them ba k to the store, the manager told me that 99%of their shoes are like that because of all the people that try them on....EEEW!!! *my review is based on my online order and in store pick up. I orders a pair of stride rite kids shoes online since they were on sale. In order for me to avoid shipping, I had to pick it up in store. Of course, they always offer free ship if you exceed a certain dollar amount but I didn't have anything else to get so I opted for store pick up. I feel like the wait for the item to ship took at least 4 days and then another 4-7 business days to have it arrive in the store for pick up. * I docked a star here. When I received the email that my item had arrived, I quickly picked it up the next day. The pick up process was easy. Walked into the store, register area and informed the cashier I was picking up an online order. She checked my ID and immediately brought out the packaged shoes. It was super simple and easy. Received a coupon on the mail for $30off $50 or more purchase. I drove 45 minutes to this location and found some shoes I liked. When I arrived to the register I was told that my coupon would not be honored because of the brand of shoe I chose. Nowhere on the coupon does it say certain brands are excluded. I ordered shoes on line, it said shipping was 4-7 days I called on day 5 because We were taking them on vacation and I hadn't heard from them, they said they had hold and couldn't explain why. They canceled my order and re-ordered my item. I ordered a mens 8.5 they re-ordered a Women's size 10 which is not what I had ordered on their website. They don't deliver items within time frame listed on the website. Don't trust that you will get your items on time. read more

Placed an order for drive up and when I went to pick it up, the store took over 15 minutes to come out so I called them to tell them I would come back, but no answer. In frustration I left. When I went back they took another 15 minutes to find my order. If you got lots of time this is the store for you! read more

I went on a Friday, and got to the door around 7:10. Their closing times in google and yelp both say 8 for Fridays. The google times say updated 4 weeks ago, so they aren't even that old. There was also a lady at the door telling everyone the store is closed. This was my first visit to this location and it was not at all what I remember DSW's to be. Do they have lots of shoes? Yes! Decent variety? Yes! Is it clean? Yes! Was there employees roaming around straightening things up and offering help? No! Where the prices good? Eh, ok! DSW was always my go to shoe store when I needed something for a specific occasion. I usually would end up leaving with 2-3 pairs when I went for 1. This time was different. I wondered up and down the isles looking for a pair of shoes for an upcoming event and not once did anyone ask if they could help me. Sadly, they weren't even busy. Also, they quality of shoes they offer seems much lower than what I remember. All my past purchases from here have included well made designer shoes which I still use today. Much of the shoes I was trying on was lacking the quality I loved about going here. Maybe it is the location. Maybe it is the season. Maybe it is just me. Based on past experience at other locations, I would give this place another try but if I don't enjoy the experience like I use to, I will be looking for another massive shoe store to fill my shopping needs. read more

This DSW is a-ok! It's a little smaller than the one is Westminster or Buena Park. Sometimes it's hard for me to find shoes because I have small feet (size 5 1/2 in women's). So finding hot looking heels for my size is hard to find as they only order one pair and if you aren't there when they put them out you are S.O.L. because poof they are gone! Thank goodness for their excellent customer service. If you see something you like they can check other stores or online to get you that hot pair of shoes so don't you fret! At work, my dress code is business professional. This means, dress slacks, dress shirts (occasionally I'll sneak in a polo shirt) and dress shoes. I have my shirts and slacks custom made in Hong Kong - but for my shoes, I stick with the brand names which is why I like shopping at DSW. I like that the prices are clearly marked and the shelves are organized by style, color and size. I can come in, walk up and down the aisle looking to see if something catches my eye. I can try something on without having to wait for someone to bring me out my size and it's easy enough to just bring my selection up to the counter and pay. This place is usually my place when i come and pick up some either decent work shoes, or casual ones. Basically they have 2 aisles for the mens stuff, and 10 for the womens, so you know who they really cater too. I do like this place, because its huge, and very clean. Black people don't even think about spending your money here you will be followed in the store by the managers Aldo Garcia is one of them. Not to mention, I work for the parent company to be treated as guilty the moment my girlfriend and I walked through the store is unbelievable. My day was crushed and I will have to remember this humiliating moment for the rest of my life. Immediate action needs to be taken with Aldo Garcia pretending he's looking for shoes and cleaning up in his "zones". I confronted him about following us in the store after walking to different areas in the store. He looked at me as if I was crazy and he's just "doing his job". Your job is to follow black people in the stores? Another black woman in the parking lot stopped us as I was walking to my car and asked if I was being followed in the store as well. CRAZY. I ordered some Vince Camuto boots online and requested to pick them up since I needed them to wear to a Christmas party I was going to. I followed the directions on Yelp and got there in 40 minutes which was great from where I was located. Once I walked in there was somebody in the front to greet me and they advise them I was there to pick up an online order which they didn't ask for my ID and my order number and once it was confirm they had a me my boots and allowed me to try them on so that I was happy with them. This was the first time I actually ordered from DSW online now that that is available and it was truly a good experience and will definitely recommend. read more

Where do I start , I'm happy to see the safety guidelines are being followed . Selection is very limited and customer service is poor. I personally wasn't blown away with any of the clearance selections today, but maybe that's because I am unusually bored of summer. Boots were on my mind; however, I am super picky... might go back later to see if my size becomes available for the fall fever I have. My husband, on the other hand, found some nice sneakers on clearance. He also scrounged up a nice pair of work office shoes.
