I brought one of my clients to Martin's to order new shoes. The staff remembered my client and was…read morevery friendly and helpful to him. However, I did not like the way I was treated. He was nice to my client, but rude and condescending to me. The sales associate was very knowledgeable, measured my client's feet accurately and placed our order. I can appreciate their old fashioned approach to doing business, but they are very outdated. They need to bring themselves into the 21st century and start using computers and other modern day technology to help run their business. And I don't know why the man who waited on my client was rude to me, but he needs to treat all customers with respect and consideration, not just the ones he already knows. I will certainly not buy shoes for myself from Martin's if that's how I'm going to be treated.

I live on 40 acres with a dozen chickens and a pool. Why does that matter? Because this place has…read moreeverything for the chickens, from food and water dispensers to bags of seeds and even kits to build a coop if you don't have one or want to look at other ideas! Plus they have the things I need to keep the chickens OUT of the pool, and off the patio. They have plastic mesh fencing (very simple to zip-tie it to a couple posts that have bottoms and then have an easy-to-move barrier that will keep chickens out) at a much better price than other stores. They ALSO have a good stock of PVC fittings that I use for the pool... in stock, which is amazing because it seems like Lowes and Menards might have 1 or 2 of a particular piece, and then I have to go elsewhere for the rest... unless I just start here and get them all. I have no idea why any reviews disparage the employees. I have been coming here since they opened, and all employees I have interacted with have been genial, knowledgable about the store layout, and courteous.
