Violeta's Alterations use to be next to a dry cleaners which was next to the Trenton Fire Dept on King rd. One fateful night it, along with the dry cleaners and also a restaurant called Herb Cafe burned down to the ground, darn! So happy they stayed downriver and local off of Fort St on West rd next to B&D vacuum. Nice, bright, newly decorated shop, family run by husband and wife and daughter, very sweet people. I have had numerous alterations done and they do excellent work! Good prices, alterations done in a timely fashion, so glad they are in Trenton, they do a wonderful service to our community. Took a simple 1 minute cuff repair to them. Was told it wouldn't be ready until November!?! Was told they were just too busy with homecoming gowns to attend to this very simple and routine repair! Why, for months at a time, would you send away all customers except those with gowns?!? Who pays your bills the rest of the year? Uhm yes people just like me that need simple timely repairs! Perhaps you could restructure your work day to set aside time for such easy walk-in repairs. You likely could have sewed my item in the amount of time it took to tell me gowns come first! I'm very disappointed in such horrible customer service and would rather drive to another city than let this garbage business do work for me.
