I do enjoy their clothing, but not their pricing. I can understand if there is a certain styling that should be considered Eddie Bauer, but what they offer you can pick up elsewhere. If I could give her a 5 star I would but when it came time for me to get to the register the experience went completely down hill. Two register associates saw me standing and with no hello, decided to tend to the couple on the other side of the register that they knew was approached the register after me. Now the couple stated I was there first but the young lady walked away and said well the other register girl will get them. First I'm not a them and you saw me standing there first. The couple offered me to go but by then it was clear the ladies at the register had no intention of helping me. Instead of buying the jeans I liked I was forced to just walk away. I told the lady that helped me when searching for the right jeans that they were lovely jeans by the associates at the register were so extremely rude. That was an unbelievable experience and left a horrible thought in my mind of how American Eagle feels about African Americans and lesbians.

There were 2 employees feverishly moving items on to a sale rack. It was 1:30 and there were no other customers in the store. I walked in and neither acknowledged I had even entered the store. I spent maybe 5-10 minutes looking for the items and went to where the 2 employees were moving items from one rack to the other. It was only when I was 4 feet from one of the employees that they acknowledged my presence. I asked for help regarding finding similar items to those online and she said no they don't carry size tall. When I told her tall wasn't necessary she pointed to a pair on the sale rack said others were on a table in the front. That was it. No, how can I help? No, let me see if there is something else that could work. No showing me the table she referred to. I just left and won't be back. Since I still need pants, I'll find somewhere else to spend my money.

The front clerk, as I walked past did not acknowledge. I walked towards the back looking at the suits. The second clerk did not acknowledge. Hmmm...ok. So I continued to search and about 8-10 mins in, the female came over. Not very inviting but doable. When I told her what I was looking for, her response was, nope can't do that and walked away. Now, I've been in the customer service industry most of my entire life. One thing I've learned, if you can't satisfy what the customer is looking for, maybe offer some alternatives that might solve the issue. If a customer is willing to spend $400 on a suit and $179 on a pair of slacks, you might want to be a little more attentive and engaging. So Men's Warehouse...this is now the second time I've had this experience, in this location, Westminster Md. I've had it with this place. I am not interested in speaking to someone from customer service, I'm not interested in anything. The associates need to be more attentive to the customers. Straighten it out!

The other pair was new, but I had tripped on some uneven sidewalk and scraped the leather on the front of the shoe fairly deep. Both needed shines as well. I got both pairs back in a few days for $25 and they look good as new. I was hesitant to take my shoes anywhere in York because it takes me forever to find shoes that I like and the couple of places in town had 2- 3-star ratings. I'm extremely glad I drove down to Dallastown and gave this shop a chance.

We needed a little flap of leather added to my son's baseball glove, and after researching online baseball forums, everyone said that any reputable shoe/leather repair place would be able to do it. My husband sent off a message to Contino's along with photos of what we needed, but we never received a response. We took a chance and drove to the shop with the glove and photographs. We were greeted by a pleasant woman and we explained what we wanted. Without even standing up or looking at the glove, the man beside her said, "Oh yeah....I don't deal with those." I looked surprised and he continued with, "I'd have to deconstruct the entire glove and it's too much work." And that was it. I understand that he didn't want to take on the job, but I found his response to be very short and cold, considering that our family made a special trip there because of the lack of response to our initial inquiry. We've always heard great things about Contino's but won't be taking our business there in the future. :(
