I bought a pair of high heels that i love . But after wearing and walking for an extended time , the front part of my feet were hurting . There were two tiny bumps on each shoe . From the way they were made. I tried pads but then my feet didn't fit . I took them here and he said no problem he could fix those bumps for me . I picked them up 10 days later and they were perfect !! I couldn't even see any left over marks from the repair . I was quite impressed !!! read more

TLDR: worth the money for an amazing Skill & quality service. I have a pair of beloved Star Wars themed speedy shoes that had become so incredibly slippery that I could no longer wear them. The smooth surface on the bottom of my shoes was bound to cause a broken hip. Thankfully I happened upon this show repair store! They didn't have the type of non slip treads I needed in stores but, they quickly brought out a book to show me the options. Then called to order it for me! I dropped my shoes off on Friday and they were ready for pick up by the following Tuesday. Very impressed with the prompt repair. This seems to be a fairly nice place. However, I only went in to see if I can get zippers added to boots and his store could not accommodate me with this because a lot of people that has rejected the work after it was done and reverse the charges on his credit card. so I can't speak otherwise about their work. However, the owner was attentive, but somewhat anxious to get rid of me. I did make a purchase of some cream and dye for my boots to try to be a good patron and keep his small business afloat. My family has used TJ Repair for several years for all of our shoe needs. My wife needs her shoes lifted due to a short leg length. Joe the owner, makes sure he matches the shoe lift with all her colors and styles perfectly. She is able to dress with confidence that no one will stare at her lifted shoe. (They never even notice because the work is pure artistry.) She has not found this sense of shoe confidence with any other shoe repair business previously. I get my dress shoes polished and they always look new again. Finally, I want to mention that Joe always takes the time to ask about our family and calls us when our shoes are ready (always before the due date). I'm not really a major fan of shoes. I prefer to go barefoot. But, in life, we must all make some sacrifices. If your shoes need a new sole or some kind of repair, this place is incredibly reliable, professional, and frankly, way cheaper than buying a new set of shoes. I learned that a good pair can essentially last forever if you have them professional re-soled when needed. Be prepared to pay a portion up front when you drop off because apparently some people leave their shoes to get repaired, and then forget about them forever. Weird, I know. a freind brought my wolverine construction boots in to be re soled the new soles came apart in less than a week im a dav and dont get out much so my freind picked them up and brougt them back and what a mismatched patch up job i paid my freind 100$ she said they charged her for the 1rst original sole fix that had to be re done and still not good. my freind said the elder owner wasnt inn some young guy worked on them. read more

I need to sing the praises of this shoe repair because I am so happy with the service that I have been provided!! I bought a beautiful designer leather handbag at a great discount price, stupid me had a gel roller ball pen in the inside pocket, and it leaked in my purse and soaked through the leather right to the outside of the purse. I was unable to get it out myself, so by chance I took it here. While the ink stain could not be taken out he covered it with a lighter color of leather spray and then sold me a can to spay on the purse at home after the initial coat dried. The purse looks almost like nothing ever happened, I could not be happier!!! Oh yea, also he died my wedding shoes ivory for me and sealed them against the weather when I got married outdoors almost seven years ago, as well. All in all he does great work!!! read more
