I prefer the OC store due to selection. I came here for a return due to a Christmas gift. My hubby bought me some nike huaraches and he bought the wrong size. I came to this location due to it being closer to my sisters house. The girl at the register was rude and horrible. I asked if I could exchange my shoes for a 7.5 she told me that they don't make half sizes and that my shoes were not available at this location. It found it her attitude lacking. She didn't even bother looking at the shoe. She looked at the box and just to me we don't have it. Funny my hubby saw some there in a different color. But no suggestions or other help other than that. I had a gift receipt and asked for my husbands money back since she stated that they didn't have those type of Nike's. She then explained that I couldn't get money back only store credit and that there was a restocking fee. But she could wave it if I bought another pair. The other guys were more helpful and they were a lot nicer. I ended buying some shoes for my son. It took me over 45 minutes due to their low inventory on shoes. It was after Christmas so I didn't expect much inventory. read more

Music is too loud, can't understand the dumbb employee because multiple times I say the shoe size I need and they bring the wrong one. Then when they finally got it after the 5th try, its completely a different shoe. And that's with the same employee from the start. Came back the next day same situation. This time there were a few customers but as I've seen just looking not asking questions. I ask for someone for kids size shoes and there are about 4 employee and non want tooo help just talking about the weekend plans they see me with display shoes in my hand. After standing around 10 mins, one looks at me *girl with glasses* makes a face then says if I need help. Whatever, I still wait another 10 mins while they were In The back. They come out say here's the shoes anything else askk for help and walk off. Didn't show me the shoes or confirm the size. I'm not waisti g my time any more I grab the shoes walk towards the exit and just drop them. Shoe palace employees don't do what there paid for better get delt with. read more

Was going to purchase a shoe ticketed at 49.99 it rang up differently the total rang up to 74. Cashier "tried" lowering the price, took $4.00 off. Someone should have honored it, not my fault the shoe was ticketed wrong. Sorry doesn't cut it. read more

This place has the WORST return policy....and it's policy is not well displayed. When you go to a store typically their return policy is hung so all can see, not Shoe Palace theirs was flat on the counter where it's not noticeable. To cut to the chase, I walked out of the store for less than 10 minutes to return a purchase (because someone beat me to the punch on the particular gift...) and I was told there was a no refund policy only exchange or store credit. Word of advice for those of you that may shop here....make sure you know what your getting because you are kinda stuck with it. read more

This place is pretty comparable to Foot Locker and other shoe stores in the mall. The thing I like about this place is that they have some pretty killer sales on older shoes. My husband was able to get 2 pairs of Nikes for $120. The guys that work here are pretty nice and they always have some cool music bumping. read more

Staff was semi-helpful. Upon walking into the store, I was asked if I needed assistance, when my boyfriend asked them to see the pair of shoes he was holding they went to the back and came back telling him they didn't have it in the back so basically the other shoe is missing. I grabbed a shoe I liked and upon asking for the pair I was given the same exact respond, "we don't have it in the back, it's missed matched". I'd be surprised if they had any actual pairs in the back. read more

I came in today to buy me some new pair of Jordan's and was very pleased. I first went to champs and no one asked me if I needed any help. I wasn't in there to look around and waste time. I was there to buy shoes. So I went to shoe palace and right away a young man helped me out without hesitation and they got my business. I love it. Was in and out in 15 min. Will be back soon because I wanted more shoes and I will come back here. Even though I hate going to the mall. This was at the Cerritos mall. read more

Bought some all white original adidas about 8 to 10 days ago from today. Yes I had tried one shoe on in the store and at the moment they fit fine (in my part I maybe should've walked in both of them) as I was walking up to the register I was informed that this was the last size and that the other shoe was a display so I inspected the shoe and still look in great shape so took it. A day later I wore these shoes for no more than 15 minutes given the fact that my feet would slip out so I decided to take them off and leave them in my car and wore other ones for the remainder of the day. So today I walked in hoping they'd have a smaller size but did not so I wanted my money back. This young boy at the register was helping me and he told me he was not able to refund me my money given that they were dirty from the tip and from the sides and that their was a crease on one of the shoes.. I continued to tell him that was highly unlikely given the fact I had only wore them 15 minutes and that the crease was inevitable given the shoes are leather he still continued on with the same thing, so I asked him if I take them and "clean" them will you except them and he said yes, I said okay I will be back in 10 mins... I walked to my car, sat there for 10 minutes inspecting the shoes seeing there was not one dirt mark no where especially where he had pointed out that there was some... so I walked back to the store and all he did was open the box, took a glance, shut the box and now told the cashier that was helping me to give me a full refund , the cashier asked why I had left and came back , I answered for the worker and said apparently from wearing the shoes for 15 minutes they got super dirty and the previous worker said they look much better now... I let the cashier return me my money and I told him if you're gonna work here please don't act like this little boy and tell people lies on why you cannot return them there money because all I did was walked out this store went to sit in my car and came back I didn't even touch the shoes so that's how I knew he was lying when he said he couldn't take them back because they weren't gonna be resale-able but yet he was willing to exchange which made no sense at all. Please train your workers on better customer service and not to give a hard time to others for no reason especially when they approach you nicely. read more
