The result was a good job as I still saw smudges on the shoe (The lighting in my car was great so you can't tell) I ended up taking my other pairs to another spot for cleaning at a cost of $8 per clean. The quality was similar and at a much cheaper rate. There was a language barrier when communicating with the owners but overall they were friendly and pleasant to work with! I might come back in a pinch since they're only a 5 min walk from my apt, but I'll make the drive to my $8 cleaning guy for the majority of my needs.

After a lengthy search, I was told by the older woman who works there (who I believe may be the owner) the shoes had never been entered into their system when I dropped them off. She apologized and explained that the work had not yet been started. Mistakes happen, and I wasn't upset. However, another month passed before I learned the shoes were finally ready. By that point, I had missed several trips where I could have used them. And well as daily opportunities. What disappointed me most was the interaction when I picked them up. One of the younger male employees was kind, professional, and appeared more understanding throughout the interaction. For the premium prices charged, I expected better communication and customer service. It was a truly unprofessional experience. Following this experience, friends recommended Shoe Lab on Doheny. I brought in a similar type of repair request I've brought into Pasquale before and had a completely different experience and timeline. Will, the owner, provided a clear timeline, fair pricing, excellent communication, and completed the work by the next day.
