Where do you go when you need something kind of random and there isn't a general store around? You…read morego to a place like Family Dollar. I don't remember why we came here (curiosity?) but it's pretty much just a little old building filled with random things at very low prices: knick-knacks, home and garden supplies, craft supplies, cheap food, seasonal, etc. I've never to a Family Dollar before, so I didn't realize it was like a messier version of Walgreens or Dollar Tree. The aisles are crowded, the shelves are overflowing, and the assortment is overwhelming. Yet... you'll probably find that weird item that you're looking for. Outside, teenagers are hanging around, skateboarding and kicking at garbage in the parking lot. Family Dollar is not really my kind of store; however, seeing that this is the only "general store" of its kind aside from Walmart a couple miles away, I have a feeling it won't be too long until I walk through its doors again.

I spent some time exploring this shop one afternoon, and I came across many interesting things. Nothing I needed, but interesting nonetheless. This shop, like many other antique shops, houses loads of old items scattered across multiple floors. Whether you're looking for books, toys, clothing, luggage, accessories, home decor, dishes, furniture (you get it.. the list goes on and on..), you can likely find it here. They carry anything you could possibly want for your property. Tools, accessories, vehicles, fertilizer and even yard decorations. They offer top quality clothing for men and women. Staples foods and unique snacks. You can even purchase chickens, ducks and rabbits there. There are aisles of products you cannot find anywhere else and all for very reasonable prices. I specified the Georgetown location because I prefer it over the Winchester store. It seems cleaner, its lighting is brighter and I have never been in the Georgetown store and not had excellent customer service. As farm supply stores go I think this store is top notch. Check them out!
