My friend and I went in the door, the owner said hello but we were informed that two ladies had the dressing rooms and if we wanted to try anything on, we had to go into the back storage room/office From that point on we were left on our own. We tried to ask questions about sizes or other colors but she was so engrossed with upselling these two women who were buying-out-the-store, that we might as well have not existed. I've been in sales and retail for years and today was the worst service I have ever had from an owner/manager. I will never go back - no matter how good her merchandise. You just do not ignore your customers - no matter how matter you have in the store and no matter how much $$ some are spending.

I then showed them to my daughter and told her they were made in Canada. As I moved to back of store the saleswoman sharply asked me what I meant by Canada and why I said that. She asked me if I was talking about politics and that it was not allowed in the store. She was clearly angry. I was stunned. My daughter had left the store. I then left. We returned with my sister to show her some pants. Saleswoman in back store loudly said. 'They are back' We left. It really had me shaken up. We ended up in another store where my sister bought a dress and shoes. Later when we were still talking about how weird it was I realized that the problem may have been that my daughter is Asian and I am Caucasian. She may not have realized we were together. I could not imagine treating a customer like that. Never again. I am sorry I bought some clothing there last year.

They have a little of everything, including beach things (chairs, lotions, hats, swimsuits, boogie boards, etc). The beach items are priced pretty high. The clothing is super affordable. There are tee shirts for $12 or a buy two deal. Got a sweatshirt for $26. Super cute pattern. Had to dig through them all as there were many with snags on the front or other marks on it. Quality is not good. However, I knew that going in and don't care if it doesn't last me years on years. Some of the sweatshirts had wet sleeves?? Thinking a leak above??? I mentioned this to an employee I saw near the dressing room. Line was long. Another employee recognized that and opened another register. There is a higher charge of using a card. Cashier didn't interact much at all with us. Overall, great place to grab super cheap - price and quality - shirts/clothing to celebrate your vacay at OKI. Don't go in with high expectations and you will be fine.
