I actually came here specifically for an Amazon return that I could not return to the UPS store. I totally forgot that they had a Sephora in here, but I made sure that I did not go in there because I would've left homeless.. we ended up getting a few things for my daughter and I picked up a little bar of chocolate just to make the specific amount in order to obtain a reward coupon. We ended up making it and then we left and as soon as we got to the car, we realized there was something else that we needed, and we could probably find it here. So lo and behold, we found ourselves right back inside the store making another purchase and trying to make the amount so we can get another reward coupon. I walked right by the Sephora area and started to get tempted, but I am very proud of myself because I have never had so much self-control in my life. I could literally feel it seeping out of my bones. It did not feel good but once I got outside I was so proud of myself and got a warm tingly feeling-no I didn't have to use the toilet.. Anyways I had a good experience, the staff were friendly and kind. They talked to me about rewards stuff and convinced me to apply for a credit card that I'll probably rarely use because I'm afraid of going back lol. The tingly feeling didn't last long enough to combat the feeling of the seeping from TRYING to have self control. We will see how it goes. I will eventually have to come back for something. This is as recent as 12/11/2023, when I emailed the owner after the manager of Skips Osteen refusing to talk to me or return my call. Here is the email that went unanswered by the owner as well. "Dear Mr Patsos, I am a first time customer at Skip's Boots and purchased a $399.99 Men's Python Square Toe Boots and a Men's Thick Stripe Bell for $35.00 this past Monday, December 11, 2023. at 10:26AM. I had reviewed your product line online and utilized my email to get a 10% if I purchased anything at your store. Upon checking out, receipt number 12-3889, I had asked the young lady who rang me up if Skip's was offering any other types of holiday specials and I was informed you were not. I wore my boots to a party that night and loved them. On Friday, December 15, 2023, I received an email from Skip's Boots were offering a buy one pair of boots and get a second pair of boots for 50% off and the holiday special was good from November 1st, 2023 until December 31, 2023. Since it had only been four days since my purchase and within the time frame for the holiday special, I called the Osteen store and asked to speak to the manager, Kenny. I was told, Kenny was unavailable and if the young lady answering the phone could help me. I explained to her, just what I had explained to you in this email and she told me I was not eligible to purchase another pair of Skip's boots for the advertised 50% off. I then told her, that is why I was calling for the manager and would like to speak with him about the issue. The lady told me Kenny was busy and he would not come to phone. She further told me, I could return the "unused" boots to the store and repurchase them and then get the 50% off on the second pair of boots. I told her, I had already wore them and I was not looking to return the boots, however, I could bring them with me if they needed to refund my credit card, charge it again for the same boots and give them back to me and then let me buy another pair of boots. She said she could not do that. I told her, it doesn't make sense that the boots need to be "unworn" since I was going to be getting them right back and making another purchase of some additional boots. I then asked for the corporate telephone number for skip's and she wouldn't provide it. I then called your Daytona store and there was no manager on duty or corporate number available. I was only able to find the owners email going through online internet research. I hope you understand the obserdity of what you're employee is asking of a customer and her refusal to let me speak to the manager on duty. Please contact me as soon as possible, as I loved your store and the products it carries." I eventually was able to speak to Tonya at corpoate accounting and explained it to her. She originall agreed in the absurdity in the policy, especially, since I wanted to spend more money in the store Tonya then called the manager at the Daytona Beach store and called me back, suggesting I purchase a second pair at full price and then i could get the third pair of boots for 50% off. I informed her, I would not be interested in doing that. DON'T shop at Skip's stores, unless being treated like this is acceptablele to you. It was a first and last time experience for me!

There were four or five different Doc Martin's in like-new condition available ($60+). There are some vintage rock n roll tees available but they are too are pricy for me. Some of the shirts cost as much as a new concert tee that you buy at the concert, nope, sorry. There are some deals to be had and they do have a nice selection of clothing, purses, hats, and more. I didnt find anything for me but Nancy found a cute top for half price so that was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. I found this 'Groove Belt,' which is pretty much a game changer for me. It has a magnetic buckle that has two heavy duty hooks built in to keep it from coming undone unless you intend to unbuckle it, the belt is also 'one size fits most' so you can adjust it to almost any size waist. You can choose to leave the slack intact so that it infinitely adjustable for as long as you own the belt or you can cut some of the slack if its bothersome. The belt even stretches with you when you bend over to work so it never feels uncomfortable when keeping it somewhat taunt when my shirt is tucked in for the workplace; like I said, a complete game changer for me. We stopped in the Saturday after Thanksgiving and they still had a great deal on the belt. It normally costs $60 but was marked down to $39, I probably should have bought two of these things but I wanted to see how long it lasts in my work environment, only time will tell. Since we were there shopping, we noticed they had great deals going on for BCG training attire and all Magellan clothing. I purchased several pairs of BCG shorts and workout pants and one Magellan top at 50% off which was a great deal. Staff here have always been super friendly and helpful and the store is kept immaculate. I highly recommend stopping in to check them out if you're in the area.

It has been empty for a while, but now the Gap Inc empire has retaken the store under their Old Navy umbrella. The location is medium sized for the chain but has all of the regular things you'd expect to find. Given that it's newer, it is very clean and well organized. They have plenty of their seasonal merchandise out right now and staff was really helpful at the checkout. I'm generally a fan of this chain as they provide comfortable clothes at reasonable prices. Happy to see that something finally moved into this spot! Overall: A Happy for the new store in the mall and glad it's this chain!

However, when we got to the register the people behind the counter looked super stressed (I get it. Tax free weekend sucks) and we're very rude and rushing us. I've worked retail before, tax free weekend sucks but you're supposed to make the customer feel welcomed and be more helpful.
