I washed a pair of trail shoes while on vacation, leaving my insoles out, and then behind at an Airbnb, many miles back in Tahoe. Meanwhile, I had the strange assignment to find insole replacements for my trail runners, which is hard to do in small town California (near Lassen National Park) but was not a problem at Beck's in Susansville. They had a way to measure foot pressure & fixed me up with a great pair of insoles that will have me back out hiking comfortably. Customer service here, both on the phone and in person was absolutely friendly, knowledgable and helpful. For those needing outdoor or comfortable shoes, they have Teva, Born and Berkenstock, to name a few, plus a large selection of sole inserts.

I called the store and the manager who was condescending and rude as soon as he answered the phone, told me there was nothing he could do about it the problem was between me and FedEx. I would think since I ordered the shoes from Famous Footwear they would help me locate my order. When I asked to speak with the manager the person on the phone said he was the manager. When I told him he was being rude he yelled 'Jesus Christ". I was shocked to say the least. I still have not gotten my granddaughters Birkenstocks. I have sent several emails to Famous Footwear but nobody has bothered to call and offer any help locating my order or even to ask if I had received it.
