I have lived in Naples for more than 15 years and have never been to this store. So happy I finally popped in. This family owned, long time business has an amazing stock of Mephisto footwear - as well as other comfortable shoes. The owner was super friendly and so was the female sales person. Madelyn was very helpful and fun (not at all pushy). I see other reviews that the prices aren't displayed and they only give store credit for returns - so, what - ask what things cost as you look around the store (that is what I did). I doubt I will need to worry about the return policy (I love what I bought). I left with a totally cool, comfortable and incredible pair of turquoise blue Mephisto wedge style sandals and a pair of black comfortable and stylish sandals. Yes the shoes were expensive - but, the same prices that you would pay for same product on line (I checked). No more online shoe shopping for me! read more

All of the previous reviews here that were negative are totally accurate. in fact the experiences are the same. No refunds, only store credit; accusation of wasting staff time; extreme rudeness by owner; etc. In addition the store sales woman who says she has been there 31 years has a pattern of trying to sell customers the wrong size shoe if she does not have the one you need. While I was there a woman came up to warn me of this and said she had been stuck with a pair of shoes that were too large and had been given no satisfaction. This is a very unethical store with unbelievably rude owner and sales people. Never go here because you will regret it. read more

I serendipitously discovered this store about 3 weeks ago and was amazed at the selection of quality, comfortable shoes (i.e., Birkenstock, Naot, Helle Comfort, Mephisto, etc.). There were also a couple of brands that I wasn't familiar with, as well as huge selection of stylish and colorful Italian shoes. I gather that they were at the most expensive end of the spectrum. If you are a Mephisto fan, their selection is displayed on a wall that is about 13 feet long! I ended up ordering a pair of Naot sandals to be shipped to my home in the midwest. They arrived 2 weeks after ordering them. To counter some of the negative comments, I wouldn't say the price of shoes in the brands I'm familiar with are out of line with the norm. I can't speak to Italian shoes or other brands though. I agree that it would be nice if they put the price on the shoes so customers aren't wasting their time nor the salesperson's time trying on shoes way beyond their bu. read more

I've had a pair of Kybun sandals for about 2 years which I use for my walking "shoes". They are amazing. According to my pedometer, I've walked 1.7 million steps in these sandals and they are still trucking along. read more

I have been trying for years now to find a new pair of walking shoes for my ever-widening (or so it seems) feet. Visiting a long-time friend in Naples, I told her about my shoe hunt and she immediately brought me to Shoe Warehouse. Am I ever grateful!! I told the owner what I needed and he brought me a couple of pairs to try, and the first pair fit pretty well and I was ready to buy, Then he brought out a second pair for me to try first. And when my fussy right foot slipped into that shoe, I let out an involuntary sigh of satisfaction - those shoes FIT!!! Yes he was a good salesman and yes that second pair was at least twice what I had ever paid for a pair of shoes in my life. But I've worn those shoes daily for weeks now, and the wonder of the fit and comfort still makes me very happy. So, count me among the very happy customers. read more

I was amazed by the collections of comfort shoes. I even tried on a pair of kybun sneakers which were divine! I was surprised that they were $409 since I wasn't familiar with the brand. I am traveling for the next few weeks and didn't find it necessary to spend $409 on yet another pair of sneakers so I passed. Once the salesperson realized I wasn't spending my money in her store, she quickly put away the shoes and sent me on my way. On my way out, my friend was looking at a sneaker and the older gentleman who I can only assume was the owner, told her not to bother to look because it was out of her price range. Seriously? How would anyone know what is or isn't in our price range? Sadly my friend won't be back to buy the $409 sneakers she was so fond of nor will she be making any future purchases. Would rather spend our money elsewhere where I'm not judged for not making a purchase. Have a nice day. This is hands down, the finest shoe store in Naples or arguably in Southwest Florida period. In addition, Tim Snow is one of the best shoe sales people I have encountered. Let's just say, he knows shoes and will treat you like Cinderella, while you find your golden slipper. Both Mephisto and Taryn Rose are some of the finest shoes you will Ever put on your feet. I promise you, your whole body will thank you when you slide into these beauties. Not to mention the fact that they are timeless. There IS a difference in comfort and you know it immediately. I cannot wait to wear my new lovelies...soon babe, soon. If comfort, class and style are what you're after, there is no reason to shop anywhere else to for your foot needs. Walking into this cavernous shoe emporium - it has a very impressive array of footwear for men & women from many upscale brands from around the world. But, that's where the good comments come to an end. The prices are sky high for shoes that are easily purchased for lower prices elsewhere. For an exact pair of shoes that I have in my closet - they cost DOUBLE at this store. Let me get to the main reason to avoid this store..... Aweful treatment of customers by pushy & rude sales staff. The 2 guys that waited on us were obnoxious, rude, arrogant and downright nasty. They came across as footwear professors, trying to convince us to buy their shoes at inflated prices and then were rude when we didn't like the way the shoes fit our feet. At one point, the bearded guy (never got his name) scolded my wife saying "that she shouldn't be so picky about buying a $400 pair of shoes". This after he tried to sell me on a $300 pair of walking shoes - telling me the wonderful ASICS that I had on are useless junk. Stay away from this store. It is over priced, and they have no manners. You can do far better at any other shoe store around town. As we walked out, we understood why they have SO many shoes in stock, and were desperate to push them on us. I went there with a client friend of mine. The shoes were very pretty .I noticed none of them had prices on them. Please be aware of that. They did not tell her the price till after they said she walked so much better the sandals were total $327.00 and that's with $15.00 coupon ! I think prices are very very expensive so be aware . My doctor wrote a prescription for a custom orthotic with metatarsal pad because I'd torn my plantar plate. I called Shoe Warehouse and was told that Alberto was excellent and had been making orthotics for 20 years. I went in, told him my requirements made sure he knew where to place the metatarsal pad and got measured. I wear an 8 or 8.5 shoe but when I picked them up they were a 9 (he said they don't have half sizes). I couldn't get my foot in the shoe so paid the $320 and took them home to try in a larger shoe. I tried them at home and they didn't feel comfortable on either foot but since I have a foot injury and wasn't use to wearing them decided to wear for an hour at a time until I got use to them. Alberto was leaving the next day for a week's vacation. A few days later when they still hurt I went back to my doctor and found out the metatarsal pad was placed approximately an inch higher than it should have been. I went in today, showed Alberto the orthotic with the pad in the correct position and asked if there was any way to adjust the ones he'd made. He was nice and said there wasn't really anything he could do except remake them so he called Pat Gill, the owner over. Pat Gill proceeded to tell me that they make custom orthotics with metatarsal pads all the time and they knew exactly where to place them and maybe my doctor didn't understand where they should be placed!!!! Mr. Gill's solution was if I wanted them made over with the metatarsal pad lower they would do it for another $320. If he had made any effort to accommodate me by offering to remake them at a reduced price, and without stating that my doctor didn't understand where they should be placed I wouldn't be writing this review. First, bad review I've ever written. Instead, Pat Gill insisted they were right, my doctor was wrong and I had just wasted $320. read more

The owner of she warehouse is completely ignorant. I was fitted for a pair of shoes that fit my length but not my width. The employees were wonderful. I have to say that, but when it came down to truly helping me in the end, the owner gave me a business card and told me to take my shoes to have them stretched. First of all I had made several trips to their store, and they were fully aware The shoes were too small for me again the employees were very helpful in trying to stretch the shoe but in the end I felt I should've had a little compensation for the cost of the shoes. $400 ! read more

I agree with most of these reviews! My 85 year old mother was prayed on as are many others in these reviews! They over whelmed her when she was buying a pair of shoes. None of the shoes have prices on them. She didn't realize how much they were until she got to the register and was embarrassed that she couldn't really afford them but went ahead and purchased them. The very next day she went back to get her money back. They would not give her her money back. S he had to take a store credit. She cannot afford $350 shoes. She was flimflammed ! They have sign on their door asking you to wear a mask.I entered wearing a half shield. I was there for 10 minutes, employees kept checking on me. When I was near the front, A woman entered without a mask. They questioned her and she said she had no mask the last time and they let her in. I mentioned to the person who is helping me, I moved from Ohio to get away from this craziness. He asked me if I've been inoculated and I said no. He said he had lung problem he asked me to leave. They never asked her if she was inoculated. I told him I cannot breathe with the full mask which is why I wear the half shield. He said leave. If he's so concerned with his lungs, he should not leave his house. He chased away a potential good customer . read more

Recently visited the store. Beware, shoes do not have prices on the displays you have to ask the price. Different sales people give you different prices also. A SAS pair of sandals I tried on were $270. I loved them but not for $270! I found the same pair on Zappos for $159. I will never shop there again. Went here last year for some Mephistos. They were $249 BUT you had your choice of an extra pair of shoes from their "reject" racks outside. The Mephistos list for $170. I passed. Went in a couple of weeks ago and the owner told me he would sell the sandals for $170, and if I paid "cash" he would not charge sales tax. Hmmmmm, I passed. Picked up a coupon for good for $35 off any pair of shoes and went back in today. The saleswoman told me the Mephistos were marked $249 on the box. When I mentioned I had been told $170, she dismissed the price and said with a smile "the stockboys price things however they like. I think they're $199 before the $35 coupon, let me check". She came back and said they were $170. Took them to the register and pulled out the coupon. The saleswoman said they were $170 but they wouldn't charge me tax. I told them they retail for $170 and the owner who was also behind the counter said "that is not possible". I told him I had searched them on line and the retail price before any discounts was $170, and that if they honored their coupon they should be $135. I said they were creating an illusion of a discount that was misleading. The owner's response "Get the f*ck" out of my store". I left without a new pair of Mephistos! In addition to being very overpriced, The store displays no prices and when you finally get a price ($500.00 +), explain politely that the price is beyond your means, you are told to leave and never return and you had wasted the clerks time. DO NOT SHOP HERE !! The short version: The store's owner, Pat, will lie to you and he will have his employees (Traci in particular) lie to you. The long version: On July 6, 2108, Traci received permission from Pat for me to take a pair of $410 orthopedic shoes to my mother whose health will not allow her to go out shoe shopping - the permission was to allow me to return for a credit on my CitiBank Visa card instead of returning for store credit only. After finding the shoes didn't work for her foot, I tried to returned the shoes. Pat and his son would only take back for store credit and not a refund. Traci confirmed to me in front of Pat and other customers that Pat said he would give a refund. He still refused. so...... I buy upscale comfort shoes often...... but recently on vacation I wore my favorite black croc sandals (only black shoes I packed) into this store. I looked around the store and didn't find any specific shoe that appealed to me. FYI there is no pricing on display shoes. Several employees politely asked me if I needed assistance. As I was moving toward the exit, the owner told me that my CROC sandals are the worst shoes for my feet. I laughed and told him I know as I own Mephistos and NAOT brands but I still like my Crocs on occasion. He then proceeded to tell me that I looked like I had come from the local homeless shelter. I was dumbfounded. When I let him know that I was offended and surprised at his "customer service" or lack thereof he failed to respond with anything......no apology......no nothing. I wouldn't give this store or it sales associates any stars if it was possible because my experience at their store was so horrific. Three of us walked in the store and we were bombarded with three pushy sales people. My two friends were fine and were happy, trying on shoes. I realized I have been dropped by my sales associate who is now helping my friend who obviously looked richer. I had to kind of walk away realizing that they were not interested in me. Finally someone said is anyone going to help her? Only to be heard oh she doesn't want any help! Finally another sales associate came up to me and began to assist me. I found one pair of shoes that I kinda liked until she told me the price of $415 on sale. I tried to buy them and my credit card didn't go through and I said you know what. I don't want them that's just a sign not to get them. My two friends however found shoes and they were at the counter and I was waiting outside for them. My one friend popped her head out the window and said do you want the shoes? they say you want the shoes! I said no I don't want those shoes! The next thing I know they had convinced my elderly friend to buy the shoes . I had to go back into the store and say could you please return these I can't afford them and I don't like them. They turned to the sign and said no refunds no returns too bad. I think that was one of the worst experiences I've ever had shopping. Went here with my mother so she could find comfortable shoes for church. Sales guy was helpful until some other dude who's appearance looked homeless intervened. Some shoes had no prices on them when we found out they where over $500 we said no. The homeless appearance guy preceded to tell us to go to Payless to find shoes. Very rude and unprofessional. Prices on shoes are outrageous expensive. Do not recommend this place. OVERPRICED I went in lookng for Vionic sandals and there was a table of them but none had prices! They wanted $105. I to,d them thy were $89 on Amazon They became arrogant and nasty and said soon everyone would shop online and there would be no stores and I could have them for $89! But I checked Amazon again while in the store and the price had been dropped to $56 with free shipping! At the same time, a lady came to return 3 pair since they were cheaper online and she wants them to give her an adjustment! The shoe warehouse basically swindled me out of $524- I bought a pair of $500 shoes ,brought them home, and decided they were not comfortable. I brought them back the very next day ,had the receipt, and I was showed a sign taped to the countertop (they had put the shoes on top of it when I cheeked the day before) it stated that no refunds would be given, just a store credit for the cost of the shoes. They said that this credit would be in their system forever under my name and telephone number. They did not tell me there was any time limit on it. We waited for a while and my husband was going to go in and get shoes with that $500 credit, but then Covid struck and he did not want to do any type of nonessential shopping in that time. We went back in the fall, and they could not find any record of the return. They did find a Record of the purchase, but not the return! They showed me a receipt about 2 x 4" and said "well didn't you keep this? " No I didn't keep it, because they said they would have it in their computer system. I feel they wiped out their computer system after a year and that was that! Now I am out the shoes and the money!, Also, there are two other things about the Shoe Warehouse that make it a terrible place to shop! They are very pushy sales people , they constantly bring out other shoes for you to Tryon or point you in other directions to more expensive shoes. Horrible experience... they tried to sell me a $375.00 pair of shoes, I have bad feet and tried on several pair before I settled on a $200.00 pair at which point the sales lady was talking about me trying on so many pair to another customer! I tried on several pair that she kept bringing out that were $375.00, which she was trying to force me to buy, I asked for other brands that came in wide width and she didn't suggest any.
