The only time the dance floor was ever empty was when people had to take a break to catch their breath. My husband and I really wanted to focus on finding the perfect DJ company because we really wanted a night where everyone was enjoying themselves and dancing. We were nervous we wouldn't find a DJ that could incorporate both Persian music (I come from a Persian family) and keep the party going with a mix of old-school boogie and today's hits. We were happy to hear that An Enchanted Evening had a wide array of different DJs that specialized to the couple's music taste based on the online profile they created with their must-play and do not play songs. Adrian really listened to what we wanted and we gave him the freedom to pick and choose which songs worked based on how our guests were reacting to the music he played. We were happily surprised that he played more Persian music than we were expecting which was a definite result of how well he mixed the music together to keep the night full of energy and fun. Took him two reminder phone calls to please cash the deposit check. 2. Our over the phone "ceremony preperation call" was brisk, cold, and strictly business. 3. The rehearsal dinner was a nightmare...he had me almost in tears. He himself was late which was no big deal. It was Thurs. at 6:30 in the summer with Chicago traffic and construction so totally understandable. Guess what? Some of my bridal party were stuck in the same stuff. He was impatient and wanted to start without them. When I said no he became visibly agitated and informed my fiance when I walked away that his girlfriend was waiting for him in the car. Like I give a rats ass that you brought your gf on a business engagement. My dad noticed I was upset and confronted Tom and asked him to give me a break and to not add to the stress. TOM GOT IN HIS FACE, RAISED HIS VOICE, and ASKED MY DAD, "and who the he*l are you?" Things escalated to the point where my dad had to point out my massive brother and ask if we were going to have problems. 4. He is only in it for the money. My Dad (during above stated confrontation) asked him at one point where he was from. Tom told him Indiana. My dad said "Indiana? What are you doing all the way out here?" I quote verbatim Tom's answer, "This is where the money's at." Who says that? He is so unprofessional in dealing with customers. 5. He was completely unprepared for the rehearsal dinner. What was the point of the ceremony prep phone call if you weren't going to take notes and be prepared for our rehearsal dinner? He had no notes on what we wanted in our ceremony let alone the order we wanted things. Didn't remember we wrote our own vows and had letters written to each other instead of readings. I had to send someone back to my house to get a program so we could go over the right order of events. 6. At the end of the rehearsal, he pulls my fiance and I aside and asks us if we are going to replace him with another officiant and if so he wasn't going to bother to show up. I had to swallow my anger and pride and kiss his stupid butt to ensure I had an officiant for the wedding the next day! He reuined my night and my getting ready time with the girls the next day since all I could think about was what if he doesn't show. All in all, it was a heart breaking experience. You put so much time and effort in to your "big day" and this guy just put a huge damper on the start to the rest of our lives. Thank god the rest of our vendors and the Seville gave us our dream day!

We had an outdoor ceremony planned, but unfortunately it rained, so we had to move the ceremony to our reception location (the Signature Room). Tom was there on time and had enough time to keep my Groom calm before our big entrance. He took the time to brief my wedding party and myself and ease our nerves before our big moment, which was a big help. We really enjoyed his ceremony, we are not religious people but the words were still very spiritual and well versed. We also chose not to have a rehearsal with Tom, but he did take the time to have a planning session with us. It was very informative and shed some light on how the ceremony should play out so we were not in the dark about what to do. DON'T DO IT PLEASE!!!! - If I could give negative five (-5) stars, I would…read more My experience with this company was unprofessional, disorganized, and extremely disappointing. I hired them for my son's prom send-off and paid in full, yet the service I received was far below acceptable standards. I have yet to receive what I paid for. The person who identified himself as the owner, Dennis, was attentive until he received my deposit. Before paying, I clearly explained that my son's colors were rose gold and silver and specifically asked whether those colors could be accommodated for the backdrop. I was assured they could. Once the deposit was paid, communication became a major issue. His demenor was ghetto & rude. Calls were ignored, messages went unanswered, and when I was finally able to reach Dennis, I was repeatedly told how busy he was with weddings and proms. It became obvious that my event was not a priority. He refused to discuss details until the week of the event, despite my attempts to plan well in advance. He takes this approach to prey on your emotions and have you in a tight spot. Our agreement was that he would contact me the Friday before the event. He never did. I wasn't able to speak with him until Monday--just four days before my son's prom. At that point, he began suggesting that the colors I had requested might not be available and that I may have to settle for something more basic. The night before the event, Dennis confirmed that setup would begin at 6:00 a.m. on prom day. Wanting to ensure everything was on schedule, I called around 5:00 a.m. and followed up with a text. About an hour later, I received a call stating that his driver--not him--was running behind schedule. HE HAD US WAITING 5 HOURS BEFORE DRIVER SHOWED UP! When the driver finally arrived, she appeared under the influence, unprepared, had a poor attitude, and immediately began making excuses about the weather and the fact that she had other deliveries to make. She lacked the proper equipment to install the backdrop, had to stand on chairs, and asked us to provide ropes and other items needed for setup. To top it off, she kept yelling and cursing at the young man who accompanied her. Things became even worse when she grew frustrated and attempted to take the backdrop back without installing it. I was devastated because this was my son's special day, and all of this was happening just hours before his prom send-off. Rather than ensuring the job was completed, Dennis allowed his employee to leave without finishing the setup. He later stated that I would not be charged for the backdrop since it was not installed. I ultimately had to contact another event professional to walk me through designing and assembling the backdrop on my own. When they came back to pick up the decor and seen I semi-successfully made it work, he changed his position and demanded payment for it. In the end, I paid for services that I largely had to perform myself. This entire experience caused unnecessary stress during what should have been one of the most memorable and joyful occasions of my son's life. The entire reason I hired a professional was to eliminate the stress and allow my family to enjoy the day. Instead, this company created problem after problem, leaving me scrambling to save an event that I had paid them to handle. Despite the obstacles, broken promises, and lack of professionalism this company imposed upon us, we were ultimately able to pull the event together. However, no customer should have to endure what we experienced. Based on my experience, I would never recommend this company to anyone seeking reliable event services. I believe honesty, professionalism, and accountability matter in business. Unfortunately, I did not receive any of those qualities here.
