Our wedding was on 5/29/22 and we had Adrian as our DJ. We couldn't have imagined a better night! Adrian kept the dance floor packed from the moment we started dancing until the end of the night. The only time the dance floor was ever empty was when people had to take a break to catch their breath. My husband and I really wanted to focus on finding the perfect DJ company because we really wanted a night where everyone was enjoying themselves and dancing. We were nervous we wouldn't find a DJ that could incorporate both Persian music (I come from a Persian family) and keep the party going with a mix of old-school boogie and today's hits. We were happy to hear that An Enchanted Evening had a wide array of different DJs that specialized to the couple's music taste based on the online profile they created with their must-play and do not play songs. Adrian really listened to what we wanted and we gave him the freedom to pick and choose which songs worked based on how our guests were reacting to the music he played. We were happily surprised that he played more Persian music than we were expecting which was a definite result of how well he mixed the music together to keep the night full of energy and fun. He also did a great job of not playing overplayed songs that my husband and I were tired of hearing at every wedding we go to. Overall, our DJ was good. He played great music and did a good job. We also got a photobooth through an Enchanted Evening and the attendant was fantastic. Dinner ran late and she was willing to adjust the hours it was open to accommodate us. The reason this isn't a 5-star review is because our DJ was late the day of the wedding. He was so late that he was still testing sound as guests were starting to arrive. It took away from our first look and photos and caused unnecessary stress of us frantically calling him to see where he was. We rely on our vendors to show up in a timely manner and that didn't happen with our DJ. Update: An Enchanted Evening called me to discuss my review. I honestly am shocked at how they handled it. After the wedding I did send a nice message saying that we enjoyed our DJ, but upon further reflection I was still a little upset we had to deal with him being late. Without going into too much detail, on this phone call followup they insinuated that I was lying about someone calling and trying to reach out to an Enchanted Evening to figure out where our DJ was. They also told me that he really wasn't late because even though our DJ told us he would be there at a certain time, they don't expect them there until an hour before. Overall, there really wasn't accountability over us having a so-so experience. Amazing! Our wedding DJ Dana exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond. We picked An Enchanted Evening because of Danas knowledge of my fiancés style of music (salsas, merengue, etc) and how insightful he was on the phone. We asked for a couple of mashups for first dance and parent dances which he executed perfectly. Anything we left open ended (dinner music, etc) was on point. During the big night Dana was a joy. I just got married February 2023 and hired an Enchanted Evening for DJ services. We originally were only looking for a DJ but had a wonderful meeting and upon further discussions, we were able to also include photo-booth services and up-lighting for our venue. Mike Urban was wonderful to work with. An Enchanted Evening are reasonably priced and had great communication overall leading up to the big day. On the actual wedding day, he arrived with his assistant for set-up as well as had a photo booth assistant too. Mike was our DJ and he played all of our songs while keeping the party going! I'd highly recommend an Enchanted Evening AND if you are on the fence of having a photo-booth, do it. We loved the only playlist app where we filled in all the songs/info on our own time. We also thought their responsiveness to emails etc was superb! We found An Enchanted Evening through a bridal expo and we got a free lighting upgrade, which was one of the main reasons we decided to go with them originally. We had Larry for our DJ and he was such a nice guy, very professional! He called a few days before the wedding to go over everything and to make sure all the pronunciations were correct. He was flexible with us changing the timeline for speeches during the reception. We had a problem during the reception where an ambulance had to be called and Larry handled it very well, turned off the music and had everything put on hold to take care of the emergency. After the situation was taken care of Larry was kind enough to give us a few minutes to re-boot before he started up the music again. He handled it very professionally and we were very grateful! An Enchanted Evening was amazing to work with from the beginning, and when we were assigned Tom as our DJ, that's when we really hit the jack pot! Tom was friendly, down to earth, and super helpful with everything from start to finish. Planning our big day was stressful, but Tom helped make us feel more at ease. He went over every little detail with us, and made sure each aspect was what WE wanted. During the wedding he was there every step of the way, and maintained great communication with us throughout the evening. The music selection was on point and everyone young and old were out on the dance floor. The photobooth was also a huge hit! We had Tom as our DJ who was extremely accommodating for our wedding. We met with the owner Mike who gave us a run down about how the company works and what to expect from them. He called us about 2 weeks before the wedding and told us our DJ would be Tom and to expect to hear from him the week of our wedding. We spoke to Tom the Tuesday before our wedding and he asked us specific details and the wedding run down. They even obtained a brand new track from Piano Guys for us before the wedding. the day of the wedding: With crazy the week had been for us, Tom made our wedding day a blast. I have been to weddings with bad DJs, I have been to weddings with mediocre DJs, but Tom, holy hell was he on the next level. Tom had every single person in the wedding dance and partying. There were no occupied chairs during the majority of the wedding. The biggest surprise was, he got my dad out on to the dance floor for a majority of the wedding... my dad doesn't like to dance nor does he ever dance except for the bare minimum that's required. So to see my dad partying was an awesome sight to see. In addition, We had 2 last minute unexpected toasts, some DJs would of just tossed us a mic and said have at it. However, Tom looked at us and said give me one moment. He ran over grabbed the photographers, and made sure that every one was well coordinated between the venue, and photography, and even the bridal party. He really made an already special day into a truly unforgettable night. I would recommend An Enchanted Evening and more specifically Tom to ALL people looking for a DJ for their special nights. Also we got a photo booth from this place also, Although it was on the pricier side, it was well worth it. They have 3 different booth styles, and we picked the biggest which allows for a lot of people to go in at once. They also made a scrap book for us with guest signatures as well. We give Enchanted Evening a 5/5. They worked with us on adding headset microphones for the ceremony along with microphones for our musician a few weeks before the wedding and made sure to let us know what was going on. They were in constant contact with us throughout the process and made us feel calm with all of the backup technology in case anything went wrong. Our DJ Dana called us a few days before the wedding and went over the whole wedding and gave lots of great advice and suggestions. Just a followup after the wedding. The DJ they sent us was totally unexperienced. He had a haircut that made him look like an extra from "The Wedding Singer". We gave him a list of songs to play. Well any extra songs he could fit in if he got through a good portion of our list would be okay. He plays all these random songs we didn't ask for. There was Love Shack, a bunch of Michael Jackson (MJ died like 3 days before our wedding), and other shit we didn't ask for. But he didn't play half of our play list. Then when friends of ours make requests he says that those songs weren't on the play-list and he must stick to the play list. But he gave himself free reign to pick what he wants. If people want Kanye but not Love Shack play what we want. When I called to the DJ company to complain they said that it is traditional to play those songs. But we told them we didn't want 'traditional wedding music'. They don't listen and therefore my view of them went down the drain. read more

We used this DJing service for our wedding. Overall, the planning went pretty well, however our DJ on the day-of fell way short. The week before our wedding, the DJ asked me 4 times what time the ceremony was going to start... this made my nerves pretty bad. Upon meeting him, he acted completely out of it. I'm not sure what was going on with him, but he seemed incredibly uninterested and out of it. He didn't engage our guests, he didn't play requested songs, and the songs that he did play were cliche, older popular songs... even though we instructed him to only play Top 40/Pop, Alternative Rock, and requested songs. I had many guests telling me that the DJ was terrible, and when they tried to request other songs he just wouldn't play them. Terrible experience. I would not recommend this company. read more

Dave Stripling from An Enchanted Evening was the DJ for my cousin's wedding last weekend, and they could not have been happier. Before the big entrance into the reception hall, he took the time to study everyone's names and made sure to ask how to pronounce any name he wasn't sure about. He played all of the songs on the couple's list, at the right times and in the right order. He spoke clearly and was very upbeat. I asked my cousin if there was anything at all about his service that she wasn't happy with, and she said none at all, she was 100% satisfied. BONUS: My cousin, the bride, had picked out the extended version of "Everybody Needs Somebody To Love" from The Blues Brothers movie as the song to be played for when the wedding party is introduced into the reception hall. Not only was Dave familiar with the song and the movie - he had actually previously auditioned in-character as a Blues Brother. He came in costume, hat and sunglasses, even the white socks. He could not get the extended version, but he was able to edit his own track so it was just the right length. He adapted the spiel to the people and the current occasion and delivered it flawlessly. I had a great wedding. The worse part about it was the DJ. He was terrible. So the whole process started with my now husband and I having a pre-meeting a few weeks before the wedding about what kind of songs we wanted played. We told the gentlemen please play decades then 2 hours of hip hop dance music towards the end of the night. We also gave him our do not play list. Everything sounded fine. A few days before the wedding, the DJ (who was going to host) called to confirm everything. We explained yet again what we wanted. My husband and I even gave the company a CD of music that we wanted all played during the pre-ceremony. The day of the wedding he arrived early and set everything up. Great! About an hour before the ceremony (my husband and I were there taking pictures before the ceremony), I saw the DJ and I said, "Can you please play a lot of Michael Jackson music when his decade comes up." He seemed a little rough but responded, "Yea, okay, I got." I was like whatever. He'll do it. A little attitude won't ruin everything. Maybe it was because he was rushed? He did have to ask me questions about something he printed. He said it did not print correctly and wanted to verify everything. Perhaps he should have done that a day before the wedding? During the wedding HE DID NOT DO WHAT WE ASKED. We asked for him to play decades. NEVER HAPPENED. I wanted music like Frank Sinatra during dinner. OH AND ANOTHER THING! No one noticed that I cut the cake. Everyone was like "When are you going?" I was like "done and done?" At least my photographer was there so I have proof that I cut the cake. Maybe he should have announced it a little louder? Right after dinner he played a song that I didn't like. Being the Bride, I thought I had vote power, right? He coped an attitude and was like, "I can't change it." I was like, "Change it." After a couple exchanges the song was changed. He played only one Michael Jackson song during the whole night. Then as my husband and I were taking more pictures in the hall later in the night, I heard songs on the do NOT play list. Thank god I wasn't there to make him change another song.... The song choice he makde were okay later in the night, however I pretty much chose the last 6 songs for the night because did not play the music I wanted. I had songs on the MUST play list and only 2 were played an hour before we had to leave. After the honeymoon I was curious to know if the CD we gave the DJ to play before the ceremony ever got played. I was told my multiple people no. I bought songs so they could be played (The company did not have them) and they never were played. My husband and I wrote a letter explaining how unhappy we were. I mean let's be real. We hired a professional company to go a great job not a mediocre/bad job. Would I be complaining if a paid some college student who did this on the side for $500? No, because I would understand the risk I would be taking. We did not ever hear from An Enchanted Evening. Nothing. No letter, no e-mail, no phone call. I understand there are multiple people in this company. We had the guy would liked Mickey Mouse. So if you are to choose this company, PLEASE DO NOT CHOOSE HIM. read more

Update: my wife and I were just looking through our scrapbook, digital pictures, and video from our wedding. We couldn't stop laughing and smiling, and feel I didn't do enough justice for them in my first review. As we were looking at our strips we were having a conversation as to how Mary really went out of her way to make us happy. We will never forget that the week of our wedding my wife still wasn't happy with out the background of our photo strips. Mary made sure they looked perfect and finished them right before the wedding without seeming annoyed with the last minute request. It's clear that her and Mike the other owner care a lot for their clients, and this was one of our favorite vendors we used. Thanks again for being such an important part of our day! My wife and I used this company for our photo booth at our wedding. We were very pleased with the quality of photos that came out. We had a star themed wedding, and Mary was very accommodating all the way through until the very end. She made a perfect background for our strip, and the attendant we had, Dave was great. We found An Enchanted Evening by setting an appt. up through a Bridal Expo. My fiancée and I decided to go with this company - the first meeting was so professional and answered all my questions. They have a nice set up in their office building. We signed on with them for a DJ, Photo Booth, and the Slideshow set up. Their online portal makes it easy to fill out the information for the DJ and gives you options to request songs to be played the night of. I think the key thing to remember is not to make the playlist for the DJ - just make sure he knows a few specific songs you really want to hear and let them feel the crowd and decide on the music. We had Rob (DJ) contact us about a week before the wedding to go over the bridal party's names / flow of the evening / and any special song requests that we had. I told him I wanted a mix of current hits / oldies / with some throwbacks to the nineties. He was so nice and easy to talk too! When we showed up at the reception after the wedding, he was set up ready to go (same with the photo booth!). My husband had a last minute request to make right before the reception started...Instead of the guests clinking glasses to make us kiss, he wanted our guests to sing a song about Chicago or Love and then we would kiss. Rob said that sounded great and went with it! Everything went so smoothly - from the bridal party introductions, to the speeches, and the slideshow! We had a mass car bomb shot to start off the dancing part of the evening and had all the guests gather on the dance floor to take it - Rob kept the energy going with the music and everyone stayed on the dance floor the whole time!! We actually had guests come up to say to say they have never been to a wedding where the dance floor was full the entire night. Rob played all the songs I requested and we just had the best time. An enchanted evening recently provided a DJ and a Photobooth for our wedding. Cocktail hour, we weren't there for that but it seemed like everyone had a great time. Introductions were great, he really made sure we were all in the same page and that he knew how to pronounce all of our names correctly. He played a great set and made sure all of our requests were played. Photobooth- a great addition to the night and the scrap book was a cool touch. They said we would get a a USB with all the digital copies less than a week after the wedding. I didn't get my degree in Math but I'm pretty sure they missed that deadline since we celebrated our wedding 11 days ago. I'm sure it's in the mail and should get it anytime but I'm not going to hold my breath. I'll just start by saying working with this company was an absolute breeze, they were an excellent vendor and I fully recommend working with them. More importantly, Mike L was FANTASTIC! Overall booking was easy and they are very professional. Sales person was very helpful. However, the DJ in the beginning was out of sync there was a few gaps between songs. Between the intro and the cake cutting there was a gap where we were just standing waiting. Also, they promised he would be a coordinator for the day and I did not feel that at all. I had to instruct the Dj on timing and coordinate at the venue. Towards the end the DJ did a good job of reading the crowd and playing music. This is a DJ service specifically for weddings. I just went to my first appointment over the weekend. I met two people and they were both very annoying, and not very attractive either (messed up teeth), etc. Im sorry, but as a DJ at my wedding, I want everyone to look presentable and this would not do. The person I met with his voice was very annoying as well, which obviously when you are a DJ, you are speaking to all of the guests, all evening long, so this matters. However, they did seem to know what they were talking about, but he talked for an hour straight, and I never got a single word in. It did not seem like a very personable meeting, more like - come in and get out. One guy even had jeans on and in the lobby they were playing annoying punk music - not what I picture for my wedding service. But they do have great prices... hmm.... read more

I want to start this review out by saying our DJ Chip Brewster was great! If I was just rating him this review would have 4 stars. We didn't meet him until the day of our wedding or speak to him until 5 days before (which wasn't his fault but I believe that is not the best way to work with clients and is a company issue) and he did an amazing job of playing the songs we wanted as well as handling requests. And did a perfect mix of MC'ing and letting the music play. He wasn't overly talkative on the mic which I've heard alot of DJ's do and and be distracting. Pros: 1) Our DJ Chip was on time for our wedding. He was already set-up and ready to go for our ceremony. 2) Chip did everything we outlined for him to do for our ceremony and reception and was really funny, easy to talk to, and approachable with the guests. Our guests seemed to enjoy him and everyone was out on the dance floor. 3) Once you give your deposit, you get access to their online selection of songs, and you can fill up a form about your ceremony/reception to write down what songs you want for each part of your ceremony Bad side: 1) We did not meet our DJ until the day of the wedding. Chip our DJ did everything we asked of him for the reception and did a great job and I appreciate his efforts on that. However, we only spoke 1 time on the phone around 5 days before the wedding.Also we were told upon booking we would be contacted a month prior to our date with multiple DJ options (3 different DJ's and portfolios to choose from) we could review and choose from. However that did not happen and after the wedding was two weeks away and emailing/calling on my part multiple times did I find out that was not the case and we would not be able to choose our DJ and he would contact us only a week prior. 2) Poor communication with customers after they sign the contract and prior to the event. I did not feel we received the follow up and attentiveness we had discussed when booking. One example would be when booking we explained the floor plan of our venue, our needs for ceremony & reception, as well as location. We were told upon booking we would not need a portable system and everything would be fine. However after further discussion with my venue I decided to check in again with Enchanted Evening and confirm and only then was told I we could not be accommodated and we would have to add a portable system only a month ahead of time. 3) I felt I had to do alot of the follow ups via email & phone in order to get my questions answered, get the details to the company, etc. For the price and the customer service we expected more of the leg work to come from Enchanted Evening's end. Overall the service provided by this company was not bad (except our DJ Chip Brewster who was great!) but not stellar and what we were hoping for when we booked with An Enchanted Evening. I would recommend hiring our DJ Chip in a hearbeat however when looking at DJ company's I would recommend one where you can meet and talk to your DJ ahead of time instead of meeting him for the first time at your wedding, and also where they follow up and continue to check in with you on the details even after you've paid the balance and certainly sooner than a week before your wedding. read more

We recently got married in September of 2014 and Chip was our DJ from An Enchanted Evening. We were so happy with everything and he definitely kept the party going on the dance floor. And you know that Chip was playing awesome music because we got wedding crashers that showed up on the dance floor from another party in the hotel!! We also had a photobooth that night and the guests loved it. They were able to keep a strip and put one in a book for us with a message for us to see right after the wedding - so much fun! An Enchanted Evening was absolutely wonderful. They have wonderful sound quality with their equipment and their DJ (David) knew exactly what he was doing. He was a wonderful MC for our wedding and made sure that every detail that that we desired for our July 3rd wedding was fulfilled. David met with us the week of the wedding and corresponded with my husband and I promptly via email as we made our music selections leading up to the wedding. Everything the evening of the wedding went smoothly and almost no one left the dance floor the whole night because the music he played was just right for our audience! An Enchanted Evening was our DJ for our April wedding, and they were wonderful! Mike was our DJ, and brought an assistant (we think he was in training) who was also named Mike. The day of they made sure to check with us to make sure we didn't need anything or have any questions. They were very organized when it came time for the introductions and made sure they had everyone's names correct! They played great songs and everyone had a fantastic time! They played both our ceremony and reception and there was no issues with the transition that we were aware of. They even checked with us at the end of the night to see if we had any last minute requests which was really great! The website you use to fill everything out is pretty user friendly, however it is a bit clunky in spots and doesn't have a lot of room for customization so you need to email them if there are additional items you need. We also did not hear from our DJ until the week of the wedding, but everything worked out in the end so really no major complaints. I would definitely recommend them as a DJ! read more

We had such a positive experience with An Enchanted Evening right from the beginning. I inquired on their website and within 15 minutes they called to set up an initial meeting. We met with Mike and everything was laid out for us- pricing, what to expect, what kind of equipment the DJs used, and upgrades. Communication was constant through the entire experience. We had Tom as our DJ and we could not have asked for a better experience. When we spoke ahead of time he was very clear as to what we were expect from him as well as what he needed from us. The day of went as smoothly as possible. He was able to find the song we wanted to walk in to which was by small band we are friends with. My father even changed the father daughter dance song last minute and he was able to accommodate us perfectly- even double checked with me before he played it. Which was nice, my dad can be unpredictable! I recently used An Enchanted Evening as my wedding DJ & for a photo booth. They did a great job overall! I love the portal that allows you to plan ahead both music and announcements. The DJ himself was a vital part of the day. He helped to coordinate and kept us on track, letting us know when which event was next. People loved the music and he kept the dance floor full! My only issue was with the photo booth, we asked for a wall as the background so we could have something solid, there was not a provided back drop and we had a window as the background, which made for awkward photos, so be sure to be specific when communicating. My husband and I recently used Enchanted Evening to DJ and provide the photobooth for our wedding and we loved working with them! During the planning process, they gave us access to a portal where we could fill out all relevant information like names of the bridal party, song requests, etc. and keep everything organized before the big day. Our DJ, Matt, was great! He called us the week before the wedding to go over all the details & during the wedding he played a great mix of music that kept people on the dance floor! I also loved that towards the end of the night, he found my husband and me to ask what songs we absolutely needed to hear before the end of the reception so he could make sure they got played. The photobooth Enchanted Evening provided was also great - I loved that we got a choice between different types of booths and even got a discount for booking both a DJ & the photobooth with them. The best part was the option to allow guests to record video messages for us throughout the night- we loved watching those videos! Our DJ, Dana, was very professional. He contacted us before hand and put us at ease. He was very organized throughout the night allowing for the wedding to run smoothly. He helped with music for a slide show the MOH had made for the reception. He also helped correct the dance floor when there was an issue when the wedding was being set up.
