What a great little spot! Let's be honest, you usually don't expect much from small town restaurants. This one is different! I ordered the catfish BLT. I had never seen one before and decided to give it a shot and it was great! The fish was light and flakey and the batter was not overwhelming. The tots were great as well. Shooters stands out because the service is fantastic! They know the locals by name and what they drink! That's hard to find that personal attention anywhere, but Shooters makes their customers feel welcome! The food is consistently good! The tater tots are my favorite over the fries and onion rings. We tried the Philly cheesesteak sandwich which was really good. We also had the brisket sandwich. It was ok. The meat wasn't as tender as it should have been. We also tried the smash burger and it was good. There is a nice outdoor patio but you are right against one of the main streets. After stopping by here a handful of times, I think it's safe to say they check the boxes. SPACE: At Shooters Bar & Grill, there are 3 distinct spaces to suite your dining environment needs. First is the main dining room - complete with bar seating, high tops, low tops, and booths. Second is the outdoor patio - perfect for those warm sunny days. Third is the billiards room - with 2 quarter tables, a jukebox, and high tops throughout. There's ample tvs throughout the indoor spaces to ensure you don't miss a moment of the game, and ring toss games to keep you entertained during the commercials. SIPS: They offer a variety of creative cocktails and draft beers. I've sipped on the blackberry crown lemonade and the ass kickin' mule. Both were refreshing and delicious. My husband usually sticks to the draft beers or Jack and Coke. SUSTENANCE: We've sampled a wide variety of the menu at this point. My personal favorites are the elote bites, steak nachos, french dip, and shrimp po boy, and cajun chicken sandwich. Portions are on point for the prices and everything tastes fresh. SERVICE: For the most part, the servers are quite attentive. I have noticed during our last few visits, the wait-times have increased substantially. Typically, we visit with either another couple or a moderately sized group. With the larger group, I totally get an extended wait time, but for a group of four it's a little rough. So just make sure you aren't starving when you come. So excited to have another meal option out on the Eastern Plains. Our server was literally the sweetest. Such a great personality & attentive service. We loved her. Food was pretty good. My daughter & I liked it more than my husband did. We ordered the nachos with pork carnitas and the boneless chicken wings. (Their ranch is the good kind... not the plastic/fake-tasting kind that some restaurants have!) Dessert was a warm Skillet brownie with ice cream which was delish. We really liked the vibe of the place, too... it was unexpectedly great. I can see how it would be a fun place to watch a game. So we are setting at a table by one of the garage doors and a guy that was setting at a table comes over and without any warning opens the door. It was a little too warm and windy for our comfort to have the door open so we asked our waitress to close it and found out the person that opened it was the owner. I have been to this restaurant a few times. Each time the food was very good. They give you a fair amount of food for a reasonable price. The atmosphere is casual but it can be a fairly loud space. I had the rueben and the chicken tacos. The chicken was diced a little too fine, but other than that, they were tasty. The rueben was decent all around. Their onion rings were definitely a highlight. Looks nice on the outside. But the burgers were dry with no salt. Their "macaroni and cheese" was kraft. As a owner of a restaurant how are you ok with serving boxed macaroni and cheese. It also took over 40 minutes to get our food and it was about a handful of people there. read more

Eggs are always cooked to perfection (over easy) and bacon is just right. Not too crispy. Went the other night for Tuesday wings special. Restaurant just opened so we stopped for lunch because the buzz was starting already. From the get go, this is nicer than everything else you'll find in most towns on the eastern plains. Ambiance is casual but nice, music is not too loud, TVs have sports and TMZ and there are plenty of staff around cleaning and taking care of guests. Restrooms are clean and the GM was walking around chatting with everyone. Beer/wine isn't anything to write home about, but they have plenty of drinks. And they have a make your own smoked old fashioned menu. Super cool. Food was delicious. We had mozzarella sticks for an appetizer and they came out piping hot with marinara for dipping. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich (delicious Buffalo sauce and huge chicken pieces) with perfectly seasoned tater tots (fries are another option). My wife created her own smash burger with cheddar cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and BBQ sauce. She loved it. Son had the mac and cheese (homemade, not Kraft) and loved it as well.
