The food is excellent. The service is friendly and fast. The prices are average compared to similar eateries. The menu is a bit limited.

Zooster's Pub & Pool Hall - A Symphony of Tastelessness…read more Ah, Zooster's Pub & Pool Hall -- where flavor goes to die. We wandered in hopeful, hungry, and blissfully unaware of what awaited us. It began with chips and salsa. The chips were... acceptable. The salsa, however, seemed to have escaped from a dusty jar found behind a K-Mart Grill circa 1987 -- bland, lifeless, and utterly devoid of character. Cardboard would've been spicier. Then came the BBQ, a tragic performance in three acts: strange aroma, off flavor, and the lingering question, "Is this safe?" It tasted old -- tired, even -- and we couldn't eat it. The vegetables were at least recognizable, but seemed to have been seasoned with pure indifference. Salt, pepper, and taste had clearly taken the day off. To be fair, the cook was the lone bright spot -- kind, well-meaning, and genuinely eager to please. Unfortunately, no amount of kindness can resurrect a meal this far gone. In short: a waste of money and a triumph of tastelessness. A place that should stick to pool tables and pints, not plates. Even the old K-Mart Grill -- bless its greasy, fluorescent soul -- would blush with pride next to this disaster. So if you're craving bland food, regret, and a story to tell your enemies -- Zooster's is waiting.

Beer selection is fine - I found something I like and I'm fairly snobish. Bartender is super friendly and place is inviting despite having a local crowd, which was also friendly enough. I didn't try the food but they're opening a place next door. All diamond tables 9 and 7 foot. Rates were reasonable, especially for the quality of the play. This is my spot for the area.. no need to look around.

You can follow GPS…read moreuntil you arrive to the strip mall then you have to go to the back of the building where you will find it on the basement level. Overall, it's not really a dive bar but not a "regular" bar either. It feels like someone bought a bunch of pool tables, found a large business spot, and set up a bar without much decoration or a theme or anything else. Not saying it's a bad thing, but the place is interesting. The drinks are cheap and service is good. However, I wasn't a big fan of paying for $12/hour for pool especially on a weekday.

The establishment should have more than one employee working, especially on a Saturday night. It took a good ten minutes to order drinks and reserve a table. The bartender was polite and accommodating, seeing how obviously frazzled she was. The table was awesome, much too good for how horrible we played, haha. They have a full bar and a large selection of beverages, all well done. We didn't grab any food, so I don't know how the food fares. I wish they had a website so the place was easier to check out. We had no idea what to expect. Chad thought it was a little eerie, feeling like a random, large storage space with pool tables, and that's pretty much it. They do have a couple of skeeball machines and a golf video game, but other than that, it's a poolhall, what else would one expect?

By FAR the best place to get…read morea table and play good pool; however even with this place being right near our home I debate coming over EVER. IF I LIKED THE VIBE, a thousand other people will to, and it won't change the scene. You'll just end up w all your regulars, as well as a new crew of happy and more smiley mid age kids like myself (40 year old middle of the road colorado dad that unfortunately votes blue -- sorry). Every time I come in here it feels like a terrible throwback to the 90s w horrendous music that keeps me from wanting to come shoot pool regularly. Not sure the best way to say this : Not everyone that lives here is a conservative trump supporter that needs to listen to horrible tasteless music. It REALLY KILLS THE MOOD IN HERE. General Suggestions: Para for Cuva, Ben Bohmer; House Music, Rodrigo y Gabriela, folk music; Greensky Blue Grass, Trampled by Turtles, John Lee Hooker (blues), Mos Def, Jazz Music. Can you guys somehow culturally change away from the cheap backwards sounding tunes?
