The selection is very nice of higher end and larger 24inches in height exterior lighting. Now the place could be neater and cleaned up but the selection makes up for it. The layout is perfect with interior, exterior, etc organized and laid out so you can see them. What I appreciated more was they had the larger pieces 24" or larger also displayed so you have an idea of the difference between smaller exterior lights and larger ones. Our sales guy was nice and knowledgeable but should up his wardrobe to look more professional and not some street guy from Portland, OR selling wood carved fish...I know because I had reps in OR...Nice guy...The other sales person was female and dressed very business casual which is more appropriate. No stars off because this guy knew his stuff and it was a weekend...Regardless, improve the look. Good place for lights. Higher end but if you just bought a $15k+ dual door why would I want $200 lights to go beside it? Definitely the place to go for lighting that is not cookie cutter and plain.

After 3 hours, I called back since no one called me back--I was told that David (salesperson who took our order) was on the phone and would call me back as soon as he got off. But I encountered there website and they listed as "in-stock" General Hydroponics WaterFarm "Kits", which seem to out-of-stock everywhere else. So I created an account, and I ordered 50 of them (a little over 500 bucks). My experience with Simply Hydro was ridiculous... 1. The website listed the kits as "in-stock'. In reality, they didn't have any. 2. A day after forking over my 500 bucks, they finally got around to telling me they're unavailable, on back order, at least a month out, and...would I like to wait or get a refund? 3. I immediately selected a refund and I sent them 2 messages. But I received no Paypal refund and no response. 4. I lost patience and I was forced to open a dispute with Paypal to get their attention and to get my money back. 6. Five (5) days after my initial order, these guys still have the "kits" listed as "in-stock" on their website (see photo). Lazy. This a bad way to run the on-line business. Hydroponic growing has now gone main-stream. You can order all of this stuff from Amazon, Ebay, and even Walmart dot com. The days of small specialty grow shops (like this) with snobby employees, slow service, crappy customer relations, and inflated prices are coming to an end. The big boys that have their act together will send them the way of the dinosaurs. Avoid ordering anything on-line from these people. Thumbs down! P.S. He DID NOT use my sink template for the very expensive Prep sink I bought and insisted he did. He measured the sink and cut the marble. The problem is the sink has a TIER for cutting boards etc. The countertop was cut incorrectly at the sink so the accessories can not be used properly. If or if not familiar with this type of sink, the sink needs to be cut out correctly to the sink template in order to be correct. He placed the blame on me when he had the sink and template in his possession. Very bad business practices and I do not recommend using this place.

The selection is enormous. Pool chemicals and supplies, cleaning equipment, toys, umbrellas, patio furniture, hot tubs, water sports gear... the list could go on. They also offer water sports rentals, making this more than just your typical neighborhood pool store. Prices were about what you'd expect from a local pool shop, and maybe even a little more competitive considering the size of the store and selection. I was also surprised to see quite a few clearance and sale items already, even though it was only early July. There were discounts on umbrellas, chairs, and other seasonal items. Another plus was the staff. There were plenty of employees on hand during my Friday visit, so it was easy to find someone if you had a question. If you own a pool or are looking for outdoor living or water sports equipment, this is definitely worth a visit. The selection alone makes it one of the better pool stores I've been to. I was particular fond of the adjustable spout/sprinkler that attached to a return line of a pool. Cute toy!
