Attention an issue on My 22, 2025 I purchase at one of shoppers located at #246-4492 Kingsway Burnby. I intended to buy this promotion box as a gift suggested by sales agent. the outer packaging displayed the products inside, and it appeared quite exquisite; however, the packaging was not transparent, so I relied on the image shown on the outer box. Despite the high price, the inclusion of a 50ml perfume made it seem acceptable. but, the redeem card was sealed inside of box, need to open the box to do the redeem, and need to pay before open it, made it is final sale. However, upon opening the box that evening, I was shocked to find that the products inside did not match what was depicted on the outer packaging. Instead, I found it is free simples, which I typically receive whenever I buy perfume. At that moment, I felt a deep sense of betrayal that words cannot fully express. No wonder why make you pay before open it and soon you open it you own it, and it is final sale. This is embarrassing and insulting gift to give to anyone. I have previously purchased similar mini perfume sets, and the outer packaging has always accurately represented the contents, either through transparent packaging or by the sales associate opening it for me to view. This was my first experience buying a mystery box from a major retailer, and I find it shocking that such practices exist in Canada. It feels like a breach of trust, manipulating customers in a manner that is simply unacceptable. A Friend told me it is false advertising, I should get my money back. Therefore, I have strongly request a refund for this purchase. I have been calling and calling to now, and following up emails, As I have not yet received any response, This issue has caused me considerable frustration, could anyone advice me on how this situation will be addressed? read more

I'm rating the Canada post staff in this shoppers drug mart. The ladies here are always excellent and kind. Because it is a smaller group, expect lines but it normally moves very quickly. The reason I keep coming back to this Canada post location is because of the excellent service. Side note: To those people who complain about long line ups need to be more patient; you can see the team here are working faster than other shoppers drug marts in the city (so stop acting like entitled Karens - everyone is also waiting). read more

This is a convenient little Shopper's Drug mart in my neighborhood. It does not have the largest selection of items and the make up selection is minimal - but the staff are friendly and the pharmacists do a great job explaining medication and being helpful to sort things out. Glad to live so close to this convenient location. read more

Wow , I have never been more humiliated and disrespected at any other store . I bought micellar water and dish washing detergent , went through self check out while a security guard watched me , after he approached me and with suspicion asked for a receipt ! I showed it , another security guard approached him and asked why he would do that since he just saw me pay for my purchase. I asked to speak to a manager and she simply replied " why would you be offended ? " not sure about anyone else but being singled out accused is a very offensive act to me . read more

I have visited Shoppers Drug Mart in Metrotown to purchase a severe drug that my doctor have prescribed to me to use daily. Well, 3 months have been passed and it time for my doctor to write me a new prescription. My doctor told me to ask Shoppers Drug Mart to call him directly and he will tell them to continue to prescribe the same drug. So, I asked one of the Pharmacist at the counter. She shows impatient and feeling irritable and intolerant of others. She told me rudely, that she will call my specialist directly and will call me back soon. It is already past 5 days and I still cannot get my drug that I needed. I call the doctor's office and they mentioned that nobody have called them from Shopper Drug Mart. Brief Description: (No name mention) She is Asian and she always feeling irritable and intolerant of others. She might be the supervisor, because she never show up most of the time. But other Pharmacist in Shopper Drug Mart are super polite, unfortunately she requires to learn from her colleagues. Sadly, she is not suitable to do any customer services work. Any Pharmacist without customer services (similar to patient care), is a huge failure! Shoppers Drug Mart in Metrotown (Pharmacy). Worst customer's service ever. Surprisingly, one of my favourite Burnaby Shoppers', considering that i tend to veer towards the mall ones, as it's more convenient for shopping other stores. but when i dont feel like fighting the parkade or mall traffic, I just drive to this Vineyard Plaza where there's an IGA, and of course, the big parking lot. Thr regular cashiers are amazing and definitely very nice. The beauty counter cashiers on the other hand? Quite the opposite. Got scolded for purchasing some Physician Formula powders at the other cashiers instead of the beauty counter. Since when do I have to purchase drugstore makeup items at the beauty counter? Great place to go only if you are not hanging around the beauty section. read more

I went there around midnight, but the security person built himself up in front of me telling me I can't enter the store with my laptop bag on my back. Upon looking at my receipt, the cashier had used either theirs or someone else's card number for my $50 purchase. This was my go to drug store for many years. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Even though it is an older store at this location I never minded because it had a pleasant atmosphere so I spent hundreds of dollars on everything over the years including being a customer at their pharmacy. I really racked up alot of points on the shoppers card because I shopped here so much.  Now over the last several months I am saddened that this store is no longer a place I even want to go into. The staff I have enjoyed being a customer to have all left.  There are people working there now that are not that personable including the pharmacy. They have hired security guards that go out of their way to make one feel uncomfortable, following you around and staring you down. (what is with this cold and unprofessional behaviour??) I have taken my business to another location now and that should never have had to happen including several other people in my neighbourhood have done so as well. I hope this store gets a management shake-up as I miss the the convenience of the location. read more

I wouldn't step foot in here or buy any food. I was in here the other day with my girlfriend and we saw two mice running around the aisles. We were going to buy a twix bar and noticed the entire box had mice poop everywhere..their chips also had holes. They had lays stack chips for 99¢ and was going to buy one till I saw they too were old dirty and covered with mice poop. Gross! Isn't that a health hazard?! Anyways told the cashier and she said there's nothing they can do about it..so we just left. I wouldn't come back it's pretty disgusting and I doubt they can rid their mice infestation because the whole complex is infested too.. oh and did I mention their prices are ridiculously high? Compare that to London drugs superstore and Wal-Mart theyre a rip off! Yea they have sales at cheap prices from time to time. I get that they're trying to make money for convenience over price but it's pretty gross when you're infested with mice and have outrageous prices for things you can get cheaper elsewhere. read more

I walked into this shoppers to fill a prescription because I was upset about needing some major dental work done. As soon as I walk in one of the staff members comes up to me and places a bag of makeup in my hands and said "this is for you". I'm not sure if she was giving them to everyone or if it was because I looked upset but it made my bad day a little better. read more

I have always had really great service from the people here. The remember your face and if you are a regular they really cater to your needs. I had a really good experience especially with the post office and the girls at the makeup counter. I happened to come at a really busy time and the lady at the makeup counter spent a lot of time helping me choose the righ color of product for my skin and what would be best for my skin type, she spent at least 20 minutes with me, I asked her a lot of questions and she was really straightforward and honest with me, and was also very knowledgeable about the different types of products. She make me feel important, and also gave me a bunch of samples as a thankyou. I had always had a good experience there, but that one really stands out. I also have to applaud them for having the courtesy to notice when you are wearing a work uniform and are in a hurry, they will work faster, or open an alternate line for you. I really like the pharmacist, Kiran, who is the owner/manager of the Pharmacy Dept. She is knowledgeable and very friendly. She takes the time to explain things and even helped my daughter understand which sanitary products would be suitable for her when she had her first period at age 11, as well as which drugs to take to ease the cramps. Its important to find pharmacists that are approachable and are understanding. read more

Seems fine but clearly they have trust issues at night time if they have to take my purse and keep it behind their counter while I shop for 2 mins for some cream. Was not happy since no one would even watch it. Rather have their annoying obvious security guard follow me around until i am done. read more
