This Pharmacy has one of the worst services i have ever had not once not twice but far too many times . They don't have any leadership or communication between stuff and the owner of this store .If there was a "zero star that is what they deserve".I Have move to across the the street to save on Pharmacy. This locations post office is nice. They don't try to upgrade your postage. A lot of locations you'd tell them you want the CHEAPEST postage rate option and every time they will quote the cheapest TRACKING option. And being no stranger to shipping for my business I tell them it can't be right there's gotta be cheaper options show me the screen. Then before they show you the screen they tap something and then next thing they say is oh well there's X without tracking. isn't that what I asked for. Cheapest nice try. But this location doesn't seem to push postage rates on you. And they don't seem to do fat finger measuring either. I hate it when some locations measure your box and hold the tape measure wrong and it adds almost "1" cm extra to your dimensions which is almost $2 extra And... they lend you their tape gun when your package needs a piece. Some locations will make you buy a roll if you need a tiny piece for whoever unexpectedly situation. I like this location a lot. And they are fast. The worse store and the worse owner.I have been to many Shoppers around town and all are better.This store always have their so obvious undercover security follow people around the whole time you are there. The Pharmacy is slow,rude and not too competent. They can hire multiple security guards but have only one cashier for the always long line ups. This store offers only high prices and poor quality and selections; mostly Life Brand inferior products. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. read more

I like this shoppers as the location is convenient, right on kingsway in Edmonds Highgate area. Parking is easy within the mall or on the street. Paid street parking on kingsway, free street parking behind on Arcola. Choose wisely. This outlet is quite big and things are laid out nicely. It is easy to navigate and find the products you want. The seasonal items are usually in the middle near the check out area. There is also a canada post at the back. Oh it's not on the kingsway street level, take the stairs or elevator/travelator up. Same area where Save on is. It is street level from Arcola. read more

Over the past few days, a family member started coughing and feeling under the weather. To play it safe, I yelped Pharmacies in the local area and found Shoppers Drug Mart open until midnight even on a Sunday. COVID testing kits are still be given out without charge. I was pleased they even provided a few sterile face masks just in case we needed it. I don't know of any pharmacy in the United States that would be open until midnight on any night unless it was a hospital or urgent care facility. Perhaps, national healthcare in Canada plays a vital role for accessibility to all citizens here. This was a fortunate find on a late Sunday evening. read more

This Shoppers is located inside the Highgate mall. Parking is plentiful and free. Inside is very clean and everything very organized. I did find that the selection on food is limited because the cosmetic section took a lot of space. read more

This is my favourite shoppers drug Mart location. I may be biased as it's the closest to our home, but hear me out! Location wise, it's in Highgate shopping centre, can't go wrong there. Free parking underground and close to transit too. Ten minutes walk to Edmonds skytrain. Selection - they've got it in spades. This is a good sized shoppers so they have everything from a photo machine to a full pharmacy, an excellent Canada Post kiosk and everything what you could want and expect to find. Markdowns? You betcha. Not just the deals of the week on cookies/eggs, I'm talking stuff they're clearing out. We've been lucky enough to find David's tea, great quality body wash and natural deodorant all for a fraction of the normal cost. For instance, I believe the deodorant was normally $20, on clearance for $5 or $6. The Canada post outlet is always busy, but the staff are genuinely pleasant and usually quite efficient. It's especially nice to have a friendly interaction when you have to wait in line. Lastly, the staff at this shoppers are really nice, including the security guards. There are several self checkouts but usually one or two registers manned at the front. All in all, I'd go out of my way to visit this location. I like it a lot!! read more

I purchased whipped cream and egg nog which were on sale in their flyer 2 for $7. I paid at self checkout then noticed on my receipt that it didn't give them to me for the sale price. I then went to the lady at the till and told her about it. I showed her the sale on my Flipp app on my phone. She then got out their flyer which didn't start for 2 more days. The sale price I wanted was in the flyer that ended that day. It clearly said last day in the flyer on my Flipp app. She said it was not in their flyer even though I tried to tell her she was looking in the wrong flyer. I finally gave up since I had a bunch of people waiting behind me. When I got home I called the store. I waited on hold forever and when they answered I asked to speak to the manager. She said ok and put me through to another line. It rang and rang then finally hung up. I know it is a matter of only a few dollars but if they have flyers they should honor what's in it otherwise what's the use of having the flyers. I like the store for it's deals but if you can't get them I will not be inclined to shop there. read more

I've shopped here for over 20 years and the pharmacist/owner has personally helped me out with all my prescriptions!! I don't like that they've put in more Self-Serve!! That only leaves 2 Full-Serve cashiers!!! I can see long lineups happening!! People are losing their jobs so this isn't good!! read more

I have been here a few times to get odds and ends for household cleaning and that sort of thing. That's just normal, neither great nor terrible. The pharmacy is another thing altogether. Even if you have no pharmacy needs, there are long lineups going into the aisles any time of day. The blare over the PA system of "pharmacy, please dial 101" is incessant. Just being around it is stressful. Woe betide anyone who actually needs a prescription filled, or to get a flu shot or the like. The pharmacy is disorganized and massively, massively overworked. I don't blame the pharmacist or pharm techs--they seem diligent enough--but the place is clearly understaffed and perhaps just physically unable to take the customer load they have. If there is any blame, I'd reserve it for management. If you are particularly patient, tough-minded, and perhaps deaf, this might be the pharmacy for you. Otherwise, avoid if at all possible. read more

A pretty decent location for Shoppers Drug Mart at Highgate Mall. It's across from Save On Foods and beside the liquor store. There's a post office at the back of Shoppers so it's super convenient. So for all your medicinal needs and anything else you can't find at the other two stores, you can walk on over to Shoppers. There's free parking downstairs and is never full. read more

Very cheap film processing, and the option to get it put on CD instead of getting prints (of course you get your negatives, too), which is a much rather eco-friendly way to go, especially when you generally only end up using a few prints from a batch, or wanting to get it blown up anyway! Not sure if it's more of the location or the store itself, but like the community feel all connected at Highgate, coming here is terrific if you live in one of the high-rises. One of the anchor stores beside Save on Foods, it's relatively new, bright, & a big store; fast service too, when the lineup gets long, they seem to open up another cashier, sometimes at cosmetics too you can pay too. Doesn't seem as grungy as the one on Willingdon/Kingsway, which is a lot older one. read more

The worst pharmacy ever! Doctor called in my prescription in the AM. Went in after 16:00 to pick up. 15 minutes of futile searching by the pharmacy assistant, I'm told to come back in 1/2 hr. Come in an hour later and the same lady spends yet another 15 minutes looking along with another pharmacy person. Walk out in frustration. Call 15 mins later after all the jibber/jabber on the phone to find out that they finally found it. Go there again to find a 6 person wait as well. Will NEVER spend a dime in this store again! Shoppers Pharmacy at High Gate received a call from my dentist for pain killer meds gor my son after his dental surgery . They supposed to fill prescription right a way and call me to pick up at store. 24 hours later... my dentist had to phone pharmacy again, they saud they were backed up ?????These people should be selling in business if selling POTATOES not medication. My son didn't receive pain killers because they were backed up for 24 hours!!!! The WORST pharmacy in town, peasants. Owner us not a pharmacist, he is a salesman... and baaaad one... so frustrate, so disappointed... this is not acceptable in Kanada is 21st century. Miserable service, do not go there ever read more

You pretty much get what you expect from Shoppers It's in my neighborhood. It has the post office I must use for package pickups. So I get here a lot. There's nothing special about the place, I agree that I miss the 24 hour service, and I usually find the line-up for the cash registers to be extremely slow moving. Not great, not bad. It's a drug store. They have never NOT had what I need, and I don't use their pharmacy so can't comment on that. read more

Most unhelpful pharmacy team ever. They don't answer the phone. They have had me come to pick up medication that wasn't ready. They have also have given me non generic options asking me to pay the difference in price instead of ordering the generic for me. read more

I was shopping in the store today and was approached by someone trying to promote a shoppers credit card or something. I had to tell him no thanks three times before he would leave me alone which was frustrating. Then at the checkout he was talking to another person at the checkout counter and holding up the rest of the customers trying to pay for their items. If he wanted to chat with that person he should have had the courtesy of doing it away from the checkout counter. The reason I gave this place one star at all is because a gal from the pharmacy was very helpful in finding a product I needed which was nice. read more

I like this Shoppers Drug Mart. It has been at this location for the longest time. Hmmmmm.. over 30 years perhaps? The old Middlegate Mall was demolished and replaced by the new Highgate Mall, and we get a new Shoppers Drug Mart. It's a large, bright Shoppers Drug Mart with groceries, frozen food and dairy. There is also a Canada Post mailing station. There are more checkout counters too. All in all, a huge improvement when compared to the old Shoppers Drug Mart at this location. read more

This location is large enough, well stocked and organized. I came here 'cause they were the only Shoppers Drug mart that had a product called Color Opps that removes color from hair. I've been looking all over for this stuff including in the US, however, lucked out. It sells out every time and they don't get a lot in at this and or other locations (won't order it either specially). I just happened to grab a box 'cause they were putting it on the shelves. Check out was super slow, always understaffed at the tils most of the times that I go. read more

This Shoppers Drug Mart looks quite busy most of the time. So, expect long wait times at the cash register during peak hours. There's a postal office that I used several times and they were very helpful as one time I had to borrow their trolley to carry out a large package. Their cosmetics section looks inadequately stocked as compared to other locations. read more

I go here aften out of necessity, but I've never had a great experience. They must be really awful to their staff because everyone who works there seems miserable. The people in the cosmetics department are only interested in helping the rich girls from the high rises. One time a staff member was helping a girl so I stood by and waited until the customer seemed preoccupied and then when I jumped in to ask a quick question, the staff member snapped "I'M HELPING ANOTHER CUSTOMER RIGHT NOW!" Usually in the cosmetics department they take so long to ring up your purchase that it's easier to wait in the normal line. But the service elsewhere in the store isn't great either, like I said every cashier seems to have a dark cloud hanging over their heads, I'm sure it's not their fault I just feel sorry for them. There have been occasions where they have been flat-out rude. I wanted to buy a gift card, but wasn't sure where to find it, I asked a cashier and he politely(he must have been new) pointed out that you could see the stand from the cashier but luckily there was a staff member standing right beside it, the cashier asked if she could pass us one of the cards and she looked at us deadpan and said "No," the cashier smiled and asked again, the staff member looked at me and said, "You can get it yourself" I looked back at the cashier in disbelief he gave me a helpless, apologetic smile. Also, I have a credit card that is swipe-only, it's not old or anything it's just the particular card that it is. I've never had trouble using this card anywhere except for here. It's not that I have a problem with them checking my ID, I generally consider that a good business practice, but if I get one of the older women I inevitably get the third degree, like I'm a criminal or something. Another time one of the women gave me some lecture about how they "aren't even supposed to take these" and how they shouldn't and how soon no where will accept them soon and I should ask for a new card. It's gotten to a point where I wont got their unless I have debit or cash. After living in the area for a while these are just a few of my stand-out negative experiences. Mostly I want to know whats going on behind the scenes, what they do to make the employees hate themselves and the rest of humanity. Also, Shoppers prices are ridiculous, I wish we had a London Drugs. The pricing in cosmetics is ridiculous, when they have sales you have to examine the tiny little label to see which particular colour is on sale and even then you're getting it at about average price at other places. Two stars because I know I'll be back again, I generally save a one star reviews for places I've vowed not to enter again. read more
