Since I moved this area, there are other few SDM near me but I found this location is the best. Once you entered the store and stepped down, there is a beauty counter. The store clerk in that counter will greet you like a receptionist. They have big frozen, fridge section and baked good section. It's very convenient when you want to spend some money to gain points. Generally: The pharmacists and other staff I've met have always showed a professional attitude and ave been very helpful if I needed it. Today I had an "encounter" with Pharmacy Assistant Ada - soooo rude! The encounter began when I asked to speak to the pharmacist I'd spoken to yesterday. Ada said wait "over there" without looking up from her screen. I said "over where" she said "over there, right?" (in a condescending, sarcastic tone). I told her that her attitude was rude and she replied "Yup". She said something else that I couldn't hear and when I asked what she said she replied "nothing". I asked her her name, she told me it was Ada and spelled it too. What is this? read more

I am thoroughly disgusted with the lack of accountability and customer service from Shoppers. I placed an online order and paid an extra $17 for expedited shipping, only to find out that my package was sent via Canada Post--despite widely known service disruptions and a potential strike. What's worse is that after reaching out to them directly to express my concerns, I received no meaningful response or resolution. No explanation. No refund. No accountability. If I'm paying for faster delivery, I expect the service to match--or at the very least, to be contacted if there are issues. Instead, I was left completely in the dark, and my concerns were essentially ignored. This experience has completely eroded my trust in Shoppers. I normally go to this Shoppers because it's close by and I also go to No Frills which is on the same block. The service here is pretty good. All the cashiers are friendly and the manager, Nancy is super nice too. I did have an issue a while ago but Nancy resolved it quickly and professionally. I shop here weekly. They have a nice selection of Philippino foods and have lots of specials weekly. Sometimes it's hard to compete with No Frills, especially with them being next door. I went here after discovering a chancer on my privates. It was after hours and the VD clinic was closed. I asked the lady if she could identify the legion, was it a wart or what, I don't know, all I know is it was an open sore and needed attention, but all I got was asked to leave, with my pants down to my knees. Best customer service ever. I bought a watch the other day at a different shoppers location, and when I was at the checkout I inquired as to what the exchange policy was in case it didn't fit or malfunctioned. The teller told me that it was a final sale. I got home and attempted to turn the watch on and low and behold. It didn't work :( Despite what the teller had told me, I went back to another store that was closer to me and asked for help. Not only did the young man instantly exchange the watch for one that works, he spent upwards of twenty minutes with me trying to get it fitted to the right size. He was kind, attentive and made my experience so much better. If you need anything from this shop anytime soon, I would suggest making the trip to this location. 5 stars. read more

This place is home to the most helpful make up counter lady EVER. We came in kind of clueless with vague instructions for things to buy for my friend's wedding makeup. The lady helped us find exactly what we needed and even gave us some advice on the products we should buy. SO HELPFUL. I don't know what I would do without this Shoppers in my neighbourhood as I find myself needing to pop by almost daily to pick up stuff for me or my baby. I am definitely racking up the Optimum Points here! I wish that this location carries as much selection as the Shoppers at Kingsgate Mall, but it does have all of the essentials. The standout feature of this Shoppers is the staff; they are all friendly and helpful, particularly in the pharmacy and cosmetics departments. I appreciate that one of the front desk check-out clerks (woman with long dark hair pulled back) always takes the time to say hello to my baby. For all of you fellow trashy magazine addicts, I am happy to report that recently this store started displaying weekly US magazines earlier than usually do :) read more

It's one of the newer ones, since the new 3-level condos got built, so good for the developer for adding some life in this area. Good enough size, just too bad it's only open til 10pm vs midnite like the busier locations such as West Broadway. But pretty well has everything you need for personal and household needs. I feel like such a nerd reviewing a pharmacy, but I'm SO HAPPY this Shoppers Drug Mart opened in my neighbourhood. Normally I'm apprehensive of developments like this in traditionally independent, small-business oriented areas, but...Shoppers Drug Mart...and No Frills...the convenience and savings is almost enough to sway me! Before this, there was no dedicated pharmacy in the area and it's always a pain to have to take a bus ride or a long walk in order to procure essential health and wellness related items. My very first job was in a pharmacy, so I'm kind of a pharmacy snob, and this location scores major points. Being that it's brand new, the store is very clean and well organized, and stocked with all of the essentials - from antacids and vitamins to milk and magazines. Also, every time I've visited, the staff have been so incredibly pleasant. Sales associates are cheerful and friendly without being overly intrusive. The pharmacy doesn't seem very busy, so wait times are very reasonable, and both of the pharmacists I've dealt with have been super professional and personable. Hopefully they can maintain their quality standards past their initial "grand opening" stages, so I can avoid the disillusionment that occurs once the novelty wears off. read more

Be very careful to check prices before going to this Shoppers Drug Mart ...they charged me over double (a significant difference in terms of actual dollars) then they also refused to honor the price discprency, claiming that they reserve the rights and told to goto another Shoppers. Insult to injury: After going in personally to talk to a manager, Blaze?, and she neglected to follow-up and just walked away. Been going here for many years since they first opened. Seen three different owners since this location opened! Had 2 different issues in the Pharmacy during the last 2 years and both times I've reached out to the Pharmacist/Owner and no call backs from him. I won't go into details but this recent incident, I had issues with their new Pharmacy Assistant! Actually their Pharmacy Assistant had issues with me! He was rude, didn't know how to explain without giving attitude and excessive hand gestures, raised his voice at me and told me to find another Pharmacy! When this was all happening, the Pharmacist who was in charged even apologized to me and said she would have a talk with him. She agreed that the assistant was wrong! Reached out to the owner but never heard from him. Poor Customer service and wanted to give feedback to the owner but clearly even the owner can't even take time to do some call backs and listen to a long time customer. Gave them second chances before and that's that! Never will I go back to get my prescriptions there, ever again. Told some family and friends who lives in the area and they will also stop going there for prescriptions. Front cashiers are great! The Pharmacy staff needs some training when it comes to Customer Service as it is a big deal. You will encounter many types of people, personalities and their emotions. Pharmacy staff should be able to deliver exceptional customer service! read more

This isn't mu go to location, however, was in the hood, however, won't go as far as calling it a bad location. It doesn't have much in terms of supplements and bars as the other location, however, it is still a functional location. Thankfully I didn't need to use the customer service but didn't see anyone willing to help either. read more

I have learned that despite being under the Shoppers banner, the Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacies are all independently owned/operated - AVOID THIS ONE! I am on 4 different medications so fill prescriptions regularly. I used to have mine filled at Loblaw's (Superstore) because their dispensing fees were lowest - I moved to Shoppers at 4590 Fraser Street in Vancouver because I have to fill so often that I was willing to pay more to get refills closer to my house. Big mistake! Customer service is below-par. (With my years of experience getting prescriptions filled, trust me; I know.) I recently experienced a miscommunication between Shoppers pharmacy in Richmond and this Vancouver location which could have been politely resolved, but was not. The pharmacy assistant at "my" neighbourhood Shoppers (4590 Fraser St.) was dismissive, rude and blaming, offering no solution to the problem. Here was a missed opportunity to look better than the Richmond Shoppers - instead, they came out much worse. I followed up with Fraser St.'s head pharmacist/manager, expecting better, but his attitude was cold: when I asked why they couldn't have called me to inform me there was a problem he said they are "too busy to call customers". Neither individual patient needs nor customer loyalty are recognized by this pharmacy as he insisted, "We treat all our customers the same." From that, it was clear that I could expect the same poor service if ever there was a problem in future. The reality is that miscommunications or mistakes DO happen - that's realistic to expect from time to time and I'm the first to understand. But when there is no attempt to make the customer feel that her business is important it's a definite reason to go elsewhere! Meds cost the same, no matter where you go, so it is service that sets a pharmacy apart. London Drugs and Superstore have treated me very well. I'm still willing to give Shoppers a chance, but NOT Store #2276. I moved my prescriptions to 3303 Main Street - still a convenient location, with much more helpful, professional and service-oriented staff. read more
