I visited the store on Merrill Road in Jacksonville, Florida and encountered extremely rude and unprofessional behavior from Tracy, the store's Assistant Manager. During my visit, Tracy was dismissive and disrespectful in her interactions with me. When I sought assistance, instead of providing help, she spoke to me in a condescending tone and appeared unwilling to address my concerns. This behavior was unacceptable and does not reflect the level of customer service I expect from Big Lots. As a loyal customer of Big Lots for over a decade, I have always appreciated the quality of your products and the convenience of your stores. However, this recent experience has left me deeply disappointed and reconsidering my future patronage. The Big Lots store on Merrill Road needs new management.

My other half works adjacent to this plaza- so I am actually here more often than other shopping centers out at the beach. Another Broken Egg is one of our go to's for the rare Sunday's that John has to work- today was one of those days. I have enjoyed shopping at Home Goods, Marshall's and I am looking forward Whole Foods opening in the near future. John has shopped at the Office Depot and PetSmart. Panera Bread is at the front of the parking lot too. This shopping center has some quality stores and restaurants & with the facelift, it is definitely a shopping stop.

I have visited the Triple-A on a few occasions when in need of passport and/or other ID photos. I did visit the Tropical Smoothie a few times before they moved next door. I have yet to venture into the Dollar Tree, but I am glad they found something to replace the Blockbuster. While I would always hope for more dining options in PV, I'm happy with an occupant full shopping center. For as small (few shops) as the strip center is it has ample parking.

There is a decent amount of parking and the parking lot seems to be relatively well-maintained. There are not a lot of wheat ale Outlets that you can wander and shop at. I will say that I was intrigued by the ice cream shop, however it was about 9:00 in the morning so it was a bit early for ice cream. All in all, if you have business here, it is a decent place to go to. I would not recommend coming here to do any kind of window shopping.

We frequent Bisciotti's, Josephine, Mojos and Southern Grounds. All 5 star locations for us. No chains here for shopping either. Everything is a privately owned specialty. Vintage, gifts, clothing, and pet boutique. All of them Top Notch. Steady occasions here for festivals and celebrations as well. Just a great place to spend the day with friends or a romantic date. If you haven't spent a day in Avondale, do yourself a favor and check it out. If you're from Jacksonville, you know, but it's one of the hidden gems of Florida.

Target, Michael's, Dollar Tree & Office Max are the anchor stores. There are outlying plazas around the perimeter that have so many additional stores. Panera Bread, Dollar Tree, AT&T, Xfinity, Mattress Firm, Chick-fil-A, Crumbl Cookie is coming soon- oh dear! I popped in yesterday to Target and Sally's Beauty Supply. I have been in numerous stores in the center at least weekly, sometimes more. I have even run work errands for my boss to various stores here. There is an excellent mix of food and shopping and services. There are many more stores in this plaza than I listed! Pop in to discover something new. Oh- and this plaza has plenty of parking, but the Hodges entrance and exit has this section of double speed bumps/humps that is odd. And the outlying strips have some cut throughs and cutoffs that can make it interesting to navigate- be careful, some people whip through those sections. Especially near Chick-fil-a.

If I had to pick the anchor store, I would guess it would be the Mega Liquidation Center, though I came in here on a quest for Mexican food and heard about this place called Pepe's Hacienda. In addition to those two businesses, I noticed a pizzeria, a dentist called Economy Dentistry. A University of Florida Pediatric Center, a Quest Diagnostics, a dry cleaners and various other small businesses who call this shopping center home. Oh, there were also a few banks. The parking lot looks well maintained and the shopping plaza was relatively clean. All in all, my visit to this plaza and the Mexican restaurant was a positive one. While I would not recommend coming here to do some shopping, it is not a bad place to head to if you have business in one of the businesses here.
