I went in for…read morea routine cleaning, but since my usual dentist was unavailable, I saw Dr. Samantha Sackos (worst dentist ever). I asked her to fix a small chip on my front tooth, and she suggested fixing a similar chip on the adjacent tooth. Afterward, I noticed that the tooth she "fixed" was noticeably shorter than all of my other teeth, which wasn't discussed or approved by me. At the time, I didn't realize the extent of the change, but when I returned to speak with her, she dismissed my concerns and insisted my tooth was already like that, which isn't true. She also claimed she only took a little bit off, but that small change made a big difference, and the tooth shouldn't have been altered at all without my consent. She didn't take responsibility for the mistake or offer a solution and left me talking to someone else without addressing the issue. I take great pride in my teeth, and I'm upset that my tooth was altered without my consent. It's noticeably shorter than the rest of my teeth, and the difference is very obvious. The lack of professionalism and empathy was disappointing, and I feel the tooth should never have been touched in the first place.

The day of the surgery, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and ready for the procedure. The process was seamless with no complications at all. I was briefed on how to care for my teeth in the weeks following. All these steps demonstrated a a strong caring for the patient. The staff was incredibly kind towards me the entire time. All of these factors made a mostly painful surgery process more bearable.

Patients trust their dentist's expertise, and when those recommendations don't work out, you would hope it wouldn't be the patient who ends up paying the price both financially and otherwise. As a longtime patient, I was disappointed by how little that relationship seemed to matter when problems came up. Instead of working toward a fair solution, the accountability was lacking. Given this, I've lost confidence in how the practice handles patient care beyond the actual appointment.

I gave my insurance information, SSN, so they could check the coverage. We were scheduled for a regular cleaning. One day before the appointment the associate called me and said that i would have to pay out of my pocket, because the service is covered, but the dentistry is not contracted with any insurance company. I didn't understand why they asked me about my insurance in the first place. Now I have to find another dentist and probably wait 2 months again. I don't know how good the doctor is, but they definitely don't care about their patients. Additionally, they work only on weekdays until 4pm. So, no working individuals are welcome, I guess.
