I'm writing this review solely based on the owner's public post today, which was deeply…read moredisappointing and unprofessional. Instead of showing concern for employee safety during hazardous weather, the owner mocked people for questioning the decision to open, called others "soft," and framed financial hardship as a reason employees should come in rather than a reason to protect them. That attitude says everything about how staff are viewed. The post dismissed legitimate safety concerns, minimized weather conditions, and showed zero empathy for employees who may not have safe transportation or the ability to risk icy roads. Leadership isn't about shaming people for caring about workers -- it's about taking responsibility for them. Customers absolutely have the right to decide where their money goes based on a business owner's values. After reading that post, I'm choosing to support businesses that treat their employees with respect and take safety seriously. There are plenty of restaurants that manage to stay open without belittling people or putting profit over people. This is not one of them.

Not used to that much parmigiana but elevated one of my favorite dishes to a new standard. The spinach fettuccine was my wife's suggestion and I love a good wine sauce which this dish wasn't good, it was great. The shrimp was a nice size, not a lot but this dish with artichokes and red peppers, you didn't need an over abundance of shrimp. Dish had a very slight advantage over the eggplant which says a lot. Fettuccine perfect. It is nice to have an Italian restaurant this high in quality without crossing over into one of NYC's 5 boroughs. I will be back but as a word of caution, you do need a reservation!

Everyone in the group loved all 3 sandwiches, especially the homemade mozzarella. We also enjoyed a salad and Italian potato salad. The Italian potato salad was also a favorite. I can't wait to order next time I'm back at the Jersey Shore!! The sandwich boards were a $15 deposit each, but an easy drop off back to the shop.

It had to be just right. I've worked in the restaurant/events/hospitality industry for over 15 years and have worked with lots of different chefs and eaten lots of different foods. My entire family and I love to cook and love to entertain, and lots of guests of our wedding are in the industry too. We chose Fork in the Road for their flexibility, amazing ideas, and mouth-watering sounding menu. While we were super psyched about what we chose, FITR far exceeded our expectations and made our wedding even better than we had imagined it could ever be. The truck is not just grilled cheese and fried foods (although they make delicious sandwiches and other amazing bites too!). Truly, Scott is incredible. He worked with us to create our dream menu, and the result was drool-worthy perfection. We did a regular cocktail hour with butlered hors d'oeuvres, a family-style dinner service, and butlered mini deserts. From the mini lobster rolls to the truffle parm fries, the apple-cider mustard BBQ braised short ribs to the duck confit - every single thing Scott came up with or we asked for was spectacular.
