I can't say enough good things about Lantz's Towing. I found myself stuck deep in the mud late at…read morenight, and after trying to get help through my insurance company, the first towing service couldn't even come close to getting me out. They didn't come with the right equipment for the job and eventually gave up, so I was still stranded, frustrated, and pretty much at a loss. I call my insurance company back and they sent Lantz's towing to the rescue, I gave them the same information I gave the last towing company. They showed up quickly, even though it was pretty late and immediately went to work with the proper equipment, including a winch on their tow truck. The driver was professional, efficient, and had a calm confidence that made me feel like I was in good hands. I jokingly told him that he had probrably seen everything, but this situation had to rank in the top 100 for difficulty. His response? Not even close. He said it was actually top 5 when it came to difficulty and weird positions! It was clear this company knows their stuff. He didn't hesitate, and within 15 or 20 minutes, I was out of my stuck position in the mud and was able to park my car. I'm so thankful for Lantz's Towing - they turned what could've been a total disaster into a smooth, hassle -free experience. If you ever find yourself in a tough spot, these guys you want. Tim went above and beyond - he loaded up his tow truck with an undriveable SUV, a mom and kids and took us to the door of our final destination. The ride onto the island couldn't have been more memorable - with stories of a life, cooking and banana bread to share. But there's more, one kid left earrings in the SUV and while I'm not sure Corolla is 'on the way' anywhere James was in the neighborhood and dropped them off a few days later. He told me the problem I asked if he could get me a price of what it would cost him to fix it and he said yes. A few days later still having not heard anything back I called again and he told me he had ordered the part and it should be in that day (Friday) and he would have it on my car the next business day (Monday). I again asked him for a price before he did the work. I heard nothing and went in Tuesday afternoon where he then had to go look up the price. At this point I was over it. I paid the bill for him looking at it and went to leave. When I got to my car I realized some items I had in it when it was dropped off were missing. He claims his son checked the cameras and no body had messed with my car the 2 weeks it was in front of his shop. I know what was in my car when I dropped it off and I know what's missing from my when I picked it up. This was my experience.

Use to take all my cars & truck here; but last few years, they went to weird billing…read more you pay to have an air filter change, then they charge you same labor again, to take care of the sensor right by the air filter. You change a serpentine belt, right by water pump, but instead of adding just the labor for additional water pump, they charge you a second time for the tear down. That is double charging for the same labor, to fix something else in same area. Then you ask them to change a belt, but then the tensioning rod, in your opinion is OK. You ask for belt only. You end up in shouting match with mechanic, over - things they are over charging for. At least 3-4 times. They have good mechanics. It is business practices. If I am wrong about tension rods, I am the one who has to do it a second time, I pay for it not them. Sad, I have liked them but in last 2-3 yrs they have been greedy on practices.
