We don't insurance (told her we knew that but we were wanting to see the facility) Her next comment, we don't have any openings until March again reiterated I was just checking but after this first impression there's no way the wife or I would go here for acupuncture therapy. Another turn off was room need cleaned or painted as it had some kind of stain on the wall (not very appealing or giving me a clean feeling), again not good first impression. They may offer the best care but they won't have any endorsement from either me or my wife. So if this receptionist is the first thing you run into representing this business it'll turn a lot of patients off. The drs should think twice about who they have greeting existing or potential customers. They need to remember first impressions are important because you may not get a second chance. Business is tough enough without having your front person chasing of customers. Also apply the rule of 100 when you upset someone, they'll definitely tell others who in turn do the same. Hopefully this is learning business lesson in customer service 101

"Best primary physician in America she understands traumatic experiences explained understands traumatic experiences, explains everything thoroughly I trust dr. McCormick and I'm so blessed I found her she's a happy Doctor cares about me . I trust dr. McCormick and I'm so blessed I found her she's a happy doctor cares about her patients. " Well I can't compete with that but I am very, very pleased with her knowledge, kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. She explains conditions and treatments, takes time to answer my questions, and engages in inquiries, and is fantastic with follow-ups. Both nurses that I've interacted with, Jennifer and Suprina have been terrific, professional, and friendly. They also draw bloods, urines and other tests onsite so no extra lab trips. They accept most insurances, send lots of reminders, and because they're part of the South Baldwin Medical Group all you labs, notes, history and test results are available on a patient portal. While I could go in and on about how happy I am with this practice I will talk about why I always seek out D.O.'s. With my years in ER's, and Navy hospitals, I have worked closely with MD's and OD's and have almost always been impressed with the approach to care and treatment with OD's overall. Medical doctors (MD's) and doctors of osteopathic medicine (DO's) are both licensed physicians who have similar medical education and training requirements, but they are significantly different in their approach to patient care and philosophies in general. MD's are trained in allopathic medicine, which is based on the use of drugs and surgery to treat symptoms and diseases. Way too often it's all about prescription meds for symptoms and not about addressing the causes, sad. DOs, on the other hand, are trained in osteopathic medicine, which emphasizes the body's natural ability to heal itself. They're trained to look at the whole person, including physical, emotional and even spiritual aspects, and consider how those factors may be affecting a patient's health. Some even use a hands-on approach to diagnose and treat patients, that can incorporate manual manipulations and other physical techniques. Note, both types of physicians are qualified to provide a wide range of medical services, including preventative care, diagnosis, and treatment of illnesses and injuries. I may be biased today as my wife is a doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and we're both Reiki practitioners however DO's were my chose of doctor before either of us went down those roads, they just fit my idea of good medicine. Bottom line: Add me to the list of beaming reviewers because Doc McCormick is one of the really good ones. Highly recommended!! https://www.southbaldwinmedicalgroup.com/doctors-providers/mccormick-lindsey-do-7511

I asked about every charge to expect because the hormone pellets is something I have to do for health reasons. I have to have continued treatment so it is important to know the expenses coming and to shop around. I went in for the free consultation since they couldn't tell me on the phone the charges. After the consultation, they told me I could have in house lab done so my insurance wouldn't be charged and it would be a flat rate for the labs and would be $292. That's no $67great because I had paid $350 in the past for the Biote. I choose to move forward. When I checked out at the desk, they then show me a contract that I would need to make two more payments of $191. That would be a total of $674! I was completely caught off guard but I was told $292! However, I had already done the labs so even if I went somewhere else, I would have to have more labs and be charged again plus I would have to wait even longer. They apologized for not being more upfront about the cost but that it would cover more labs that I would need in 6 weeks and my follow up appointment. I was literally in tears because I medically need the pellets but hated to spend that much money for something on myself. I go back in for my required follow up labs after 6 weeks. A month later I receive a bill for $250! I call and was told I shouldn't have been charged that and they will look into it. I called back multiple times because they never called me but I kept getting bills. I was told they were going to try to get the bill sent to them to take care of it. I told them how important it was for it not to go to collection because I am currently in the hospital with my 10 year old who was diagnosed with leukemia and are expecting a lot of bills. Sure enough, I get a bill from collections because they never took care of it OR called me to tell me they couldn't. When I followed up, I was told they weren't able to pay it but I could just set up a payment plan for the $250 if I couldn't pay it right now. All this to say, beware that a biote pellet will end up costing you about $1000 when you can go somewhere else for $350-$450. I just don't want anybody else to get scammed like I did.
