Why do I give it a 4 star then? The desserts are absolutely phenomenal. I had a peanut butter cheesecake and I will honestly say it's the BEST I've ever had. Everything was packaged with the desserts beautifully! The interior was well kept, clean and relatively efficient with checkout. The service was great, the girls behind the counter were friendly and attentive to everyone that came into the store and were quick to get orders! I think there is just an office around here but not the Store. Called the number and the nice lady told me 15 West Street, about 5 miles back into Rutland. See my photos. The way she talks down to people is very condescending and degrading. She is very argumentative and combative. She is short, probably in her 30s or 40s, has glasses, with brown shoulderlength hair. She should not be upfront checking customers out with this type of personality. She may be a good worker but should not be at the storefront representing the Vermont Country Store/Yankee Surplus with that type of attitude. She should be in the back room stocking shelves with no communication or interaction with customers.
