During this visit, I noticed the Chester Chicken restaurant inside the store. The food display was visually appealing, and the aroma of freshly prepared fried chicken was especially inviting. As my order was being prepared, I browsed the store and purchased a couple of Celsius beverages and a bag of Cheetos. The chicken biscuit was freshly made and provided a satisfying, flavorful meal that was just enough to curb my hunger. Overall, it was a pleasant and convenient stop during my trip.

Secondarily, even were the food mediocre, the woman who served us was absolutely delightful, serene in a store with a half dozen other customers and working alone. She even took the time to recommend offbeat local sights as we were equipped for hiking. I'm short, I would and will drive by any other local convenience store to shop here. Despite it essentially being a gas station, this Maplefields is different. The inside feels almost artisanal, with its brick walls and strong selection of local products. If you're into Vermont craft beer, Maplefields has a great selection. I needed coffee and this Maplefields had the most impressive selection of Green Mountain Coffee I've seen anywhere.
