So excited about this new bath and body works location!…read more We went on a super busy day as they were having a major sale. The employees remained so friendly the entire time and offered to help many times. The checkout process was efficient and easy as well. The store is of course new but the layout and flow of all of the displays were wonderfully placed. Again, very excited that we now have a bath and body works so close!

Thank you to Manager Ali, our Sales Associate Nikki and Sales Associate Bri for helping make every customer's experience, a personal one. I will be coming back with Mom. I love the soap container that looks like my doggie Olivia Cocobean, right as you walk in the door. I think the colors, candles, soaps, beautiful accessories and personal shopping help from The sales associates, just make shopping the very best experience. I got to shop with my daughter today. See you very soon. Julie A

I recently visited Mystic Rose. I would give the ladies working there five stars for their customer…read moreservice and giving us information regarding their classes. (You can find their class schedule on the web and I would definitely say that is worth a look-see!) There is parking right in front of the store and it is just off S Virginia St, easy to find. The reason for the three stars has to do with inventory. This is not a large shop so one has to consider space available for merchandise. However, there was not much of a selection and the prices were fairly high. I realize that it is becoming harder to run a brick and mortar store front everyday, but I found the merchandise to be "stale" and dated. (ie: no latest tarot decks, books, etc.) I also felt like if I were to return in a month or so, it would look much as it did the day I visited, with the same merchandise in the same place. It may be that "Mystic Rose" concentrates more on the classes and readings and such, but that's not why I came. I miss the well-stocked metaphysical shops of the past and would love to see a sample tarot deck or book before I purchase it... I guess those days are gone.

I had time to peruse the selections thoroughly. I particularly enjoyed the large selection of crystals, and the availability of guides and books that explain how to use the crystals. I ended up buying a hunk of Angelite, and I'm happy that I did. Their selection of divination cards is small, but, again, a nice variety. In particular, I was pleased to see that they carry the Animal Wisdom Cards. I complimented the store owner on this, and we had a nice conversation about the uses and power of this particular deck. There are a few more items upstairs. There is a large second room that is used for classes. I only had a few short days in Nevada, which precluded taking any classes. If I were in Reno for a longer visit, I would definitely want to sample a class or a reading. Small, yes, but a solid, representative selection of various items. You'll never find everything in the world here, but you'll get a nice variety and/or introduction.

Born in the 50s. Grew up in the 60s. Love, Peace and Music…read morestill works for me. Fulfilling your groovy needs since '98, Hippies is where Love, Peace and Music still rule. Hippies is a store for dreamers and their dreams. A store for life and all the joys it brings. A store for laughs. A store with memories you've memorized to keep your winters warm are. A store where all that's good gets better. A store for life. A store for love. A store for you. I've been shopping at Hippies for decades. I recently was there for Christmas present shopping because they have groovy stuff, patriotic merchandise and a Veterans and Military Discount. Merchandise selection, customer service and cleanliness was adequate. Hippies' owners like their Freedom so they have a daily Military and Veterans Discount as a token thank you to Veterans and GIs which provides resource to ensure Veterans (rare 7% of the population) and GIs (rare one-half of one-percent of the population) opportunity to participate in American Dream Veterans' and GIs' sacrifices have made possible for 100% of the population. The Hippie Movement peaked with the 1967 Summer of Love. As a Hippie myself, my Hippie friends and I read a lot, spent a lot of time learning and sharing our learning. We had container gardens over-flowing with vegetables and flowers and weed, and we brewed our own beers. Some had chickens. We became experts at salvaging and re-purposing. We traded and bartered as we had little cash. We loved classical and jazz music then invented our own blues, folk and rock music. We got around by walking, mountain bikes, our beloved VW "People's Car" buses or little put-put boats we'd salvaged. We were pro-Peace. We put on the holiday parades. We kept our word, oaths and promises. We helped out each other. We Honorably Served in America's Armed Forces where we started the Sir! No Sir! We were Conservationists. We were jacks-of-all-trades and masters of several. We taught at colleges and universities. How the Hippies Saved Physics https://www.hippiessavedphysics.com/. We were whimsical. We had very little debt. We gave ourselves and each other roots to grow and wings to fly. A good legacy for a bunch of bright, fun-loving and underemployed young Hippies. In the early 1980s, yuppies and their high-end Mercedes and Range Rovers and mountain of debt began to replace the Hippies. By the late 1990's there were only remnants remaining of the Hippie Culture. This Hippies store is a remnant. Another remnant is The Serial: A Year in the Life of Marin County, which I have an original copy of the book, a satirical novel by Cyra McFadden. In 1976, the book's chapters had been serialized in the Marin County alternative weekly newspaper Pacific Sun, as well as the San Francisco Chronicle. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Th... I've really appreciated aspects of being part of Painted Tree Marketplace, but I've had a very…read moredifficult experience trying to navigate my lease and communication with the Sparks location. Last fall, I went in person to ask about ending my lease early and was told there was no option to do so. I was not informed that there was a formal written process or specific email required to submit a cancellation request. After that, I waited for a renewal notice or any communication about my lease timeline, but never received one. I also checked the vendor portal and could not find clear information about my lease terms or renewal date. I made multiple attempts to call, but the voicemail box was full, and I wasn't able to leave messages. I also sent an email and did not receive a response. Eventually I was able to reach someone, and only then was I given the correct email to submit my request--which I did immediately. I was also told I could sublet my space and found someone ready to take it. Later, I was informed that subletting was not actually possible due to tax reporting, which caused me to lose that opportunity. I understand that there are policies in place, but I made consistent good faith efforts--in person, by phone, by email, and through the portal--to understand and follow the process, and I did not have access to the correct information at the time. I'm sharing this in hopes that corporate can review situations like this, as better communication and clearer processes would make a big difference for vendors.
