My family has been coming here since before I was born. Of course their meats are amazing. It's a German butcher, so they will have all of the German sausages, cuts, sides and mustards. The atmosphere feels extremely hostile if you're not part of her inner circle or if you don't have money to spend. Locals know how people are treated behind the scenes, which is why many of the customers seem to come from out of town. The owner has a reputation for tearing down other small businesses instead of supporting them, and constantly copies ideas from others rather than creating anything original. Competition clearly isn't handled professionally here. Beyond that, cleanliness was a major concern. I personally noticed signs of mice and roaches in the store, which made me very uncomfortable shopping there. Some products are nice, but many can be purchased directly from the original vendors instead. Small towns thrive when businesses support each other and treat people with respect. Unfortunately, that is not the experience here.
