Overall, a fun place to stop by on a night out on Dickson! The bar itself was not super busy, but the ice shots are super cool. It was easy to find a bartender and order - our shots came out quickly. The shots are super cheap, but definitely watered down. The floors are extremely sticky and wet, but that is to be expected. We stopped by to celebrate after spending the day as vendors at an event. We already had wristbands from another bar to get in, so we thought we'd check this place out for a drink. Unfortunately, the experience started off on the wrong foot. The bouncer was very short, abrasive, and came across as unnecessarily rude from the moment we approached the door. Hoping it was just a misunderstanding, we mentioned the interaction to the bartender, but we didn't feel welcomed by the staff afterward either. The atmosphere felt uncomfortable enough that we decided to leave without even ordering a drink. First impressions matter, and this one wasn't a positive experience. If you're looking for a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service, this wasn't it. read more

Security kicked us out because my brother was in the isle talking to his girlfriend and was grabbed by the waist and touched in the genital area. Security came over and kicked our group out because we were uncomfortable that they allowed people to in appropriately touch people. Ask to check cameras for proof. Me and my boys decided to dress up as witches this past weekend. We had a blast other than one insanely rude bouncer. Dude was posted up in the back. He was probably 5'6 and had long curly hair. He called me ugly after I started getting up on a booth (my bad).. Instead of politely asking me to come down he just called me ugly (?) and got in my face. Instead of going all Patrick Swayze from Roadhouse on his A**.. I just decided a bouncer at a small bar in Fay wasn't about to ruin my witches night out. If you're management and reading this - please educate your bouncers to be polite in all circumstances. Group of 6 of us visited this bar New Years and they had bouncers in the front charging $10 for entrance and then holding id's and telling you to go pay inside . They were also handing out wristbands that only 2 of us got. Here's the kicker, they came inside later and kicked out people with no wristbands and ones who did have wristbands had the "Wrong one" and kicked us out anyway . Watch how much they charge you, we were charge $5 for each beer and the couple with us bought the exact ones and was charged $10 a beer! The mixed drinks were nasty, they tasted like Hawaiian Punch with a splash of liquor. One of the first bars I stumble into in Arkansas has an awesome concept. Shots. Cheap shots. That's not all! They also have hot bartenders and shot glasses made of ice, so when you're done, you simply smash them on the ground. Are people going to get hurt? Probably. If not a thwack of ice cube shot glass in your face, perhaps from slipping on the wet floors---which is highly likely here. Went to Shotz on my first weekend in Fayetteville and was pleasantly surprised. I never saw myself wanting to go to place with that kind of name, however it was a unique experience. I am a big fan of slamming the ice shot glasses to the floor when I have consumed by shooter! They do have quite the list of shots on the wall to order and they are cheap, in the $3 range mostly I believe. My one problem is that the shots are pretty small and I won't be fooled by the novelty of the ice glass. But I did have a good time even after the girls I bought drinks for ditched me! read more

A fun bar where they serve a variety of flavored shots in frozen ice glasses. After you take the shot, you get to throw the ice glass to the floor which is more fun than it sounds. I like the scooby snacks and chocolate cake shots. Downside is that the bar smells like dirty mop, because someone goes around wiping up the wet floor all night. The floor is pretty sticky. Cool spot to pregame with some shots, but not a bar I would stay at all night. read more

Good drink specials Sunday through Thursday. Two dollars wells, six dollar domestic pitchers. Don't waste your time on the goofy shots in ice glasses. They have very little alcohol and result in a sticky, nasty bar floor. Don't be surprised if your shoes get stuck to the floor. The bouncers are terrible here. I will never go back to Shotz again. The bouncer essentially stole my ID insisting that it was fake. When I told him he could call the cops, he made me do it. He was so insanely rude. They are clearly not well trained on checking IDs. He put my ID in his pocket and basically dismissed me. Needless to say, it was not fake and the cops made him give it back. This place literally gets disgusting on the floor. It is kind of a cool idea that the shots are ice cubes but I was not impressed. It's like a puddle of who knows what on the floor. This is certainly a unique spot, and I imagine there is some sort of initiation for coming into town at this place. It was talked about quite a bit prior to me arriving. The namesake implies what they are known for, so I had to come in and have shots. I chose the 2 Sex With An Alligator and I can't remember the other one, both had Jager which I didn't know. It wasn't as tasty because I'm impartial to it. The shot comes in an shot glass made of ice, so after you drink it you are to throw it and break it on the floor. The floor was made exactly for it too, and since it's ice and melts it's perfectly ok. It is a pretty cool idea, and can be fun. The bartender was pretty nice, and I wished she had given us the shot menu earlier to see the detailed items in the drinks so we could have picked better tasting ones. School was not in session so it wasn't crowded or too crazy, but I can only imagine when it is. read more

Not my type of bar. It's way too crowded. They serve ice shots so when people take them, they throw them on the ground and break them. The floor was COVERED in water. It's a big liability. Make sure you don't wear sandals here. Also, the bartenders suck. My frozen drink wasn't blended thoroughly and I had to scream multiple times just to be served. I gave one star but if possible I would choose 0. The last two times I tried coming to this bar I left furious. There is a female bartender with longer blonde hair that is more than rude. She took my card then later when I asked for it she said "she never got it" then when I pointed out my card behind the bar she said some guy gave it to her and that I never gave her that card. Ok lady, you're crazy but whatever. So I ended up getting my card back. A few of my friends were in town and wanted to go to shotz. I told them my experience but we still went. Wanted to like this place but the bartender stole our credit card number and bought over a $100 worth of drinks on it. When we asked the manager for copies of our receipts he yelled at us and became aggressive before kicking us out. The worst kind of service I've ever experienced and I will never go back. Shotz is the worst bar in Fayetteville and probably all of Arkansas. I went there last night, got a drink before last call, sat down at my table, and then the bouncers came through the patio yelling that it was closed and that we had to leave. When we asked why, the bouncer slapped my beer out of my hand. I would have asked for a refund but the bouncer wouldn't let me back inside to talk to a manager. I recommend to never go there no matter what. read more
