Came here last night around 9pm. It was a cute vibe. It was really cool that they had a rooftop experience and there's a small bar up top too. It seemed like a pretty calm night and the place wasn't too crazy busy. I felt like the rooftop could have used some additional lighting but maybe bc of the weird weather we get here it's not an option. I'm not sure. Probably my favorite bar on Dickson Street. 1st level is open to the outdoors. Rooftop bar section is great. During prime time they have bartenders on the rooftop as well so you don't have to walk downstairs. So great drink selections, TVs downstairs, great bar atmosphere, rooftop is bitchin, but what makes this 5 stars are the bartenders. Very efficient at their job. No long waits for drinks. They take your order, make your drink fast, then move on to other patrons. Love it. read more

Came here after seeing a show at the Walton Arts Center. Chill place to get a drink. A duo was playing live music. They do allow smoking but the entire front is open so it's not bad. Located right on Dickson, it's probably one of the more calmer options. Plus, great for people watching. read more

If you're looking for a great cocktail, go to sideways. 21st is easily the worst cocktail bar I've been to. I've had better cocktails at dive bars. I ordered a sazerac and got something that tasted like straight whiskey with the fair fruit flavor like that of a La Croix. The bartenders are incapable of doing anything creative other than making an old fashioned that has one additional flavor of bitters (seriously, that was one of their "signature" cocktails). If you want a good cocktail, go to some other stereotypical mountain hipster bar on Dickson. If not, go to 21st and be surrounded by a bunch of bros talking about how Yuengling ("Pennsylvania Urine") is a quality beer. read more

Great place on the main strip. Went there Saturday after the hogs game and sat down stairs with a group of 4 other friends and had an awesome time. The only reason why it is 4 not 5 stars is no table service, you get the drinks yourself and it is slightly about a dollar or 2 more than locations on Dickson. Big plus the big open windows and the upstairs deck allows you to people watch. We saw a fight on the street Saturday night. read more

I'm giving this a place two stars for 3 reasons. 1. The bartender was super sweet. & 2. The selection of liquor was great! & 3. The rooftop bar is beautiful! The problem with this place is the p.o.s. at the front door. Talk about a total asshole! This guy killed our whole vibe at this place. My buddy and I went outside with our armband & "green cup" (before 10:00 P.M.) and when we came back in with my buddy's girlfriend he was extremely aggressive. Made us throw away our drinks even when we tried explaining to him that the law permits you to leave the bar and come back in with the arm band! This guy needs to go be a bouncer at a strip club, where he get can act "hard" all he wants. Fire this guy and hire someone who is still capable of the job but is friendly with guests! Customer service is everything! Another reason why this review is low because the expertise of making cocktails is elementary. The bartender didn't know how to make any whiskey cocktails besides an old fashioned. I wanted to get a bourbon sour and instead I got a splash of bulleit & some pre-made draft juice which should've been worth a dollar. I was in town for a bridal shower and a group of us went to this bar to enjoy the rooftop. Our group was a mix of 50 somethings and 20 somethings. The bouncer was so unprofessional and one of the rudest people I have ever met. We just turned around and left it was so unnecessary and offensive. I went back went in and asked to see the manager and the bartender who looked 12 said he runs the place and if we have a problem with the bouncer we could leave. I was shocked - worst customer service and management ever. I guess a complete A**hole bouncer is more important than customers. I also heard from other people we shared our experience with say that the bouncer takes fake IDs threatens the people he takes them from then turns around and sells them. read more

I don't care for 21st Amendment. We came in for my birthday, and I've been back a few times since. I think the drinks are overpriced, and not as well made as other cocktails I've had around town. I just got home from visiting this bar and was treated horribly. Me, my boyfriend, and his friend that came in from out of town went to 21st amendment to get a drink and was treated HORRIBLY by the bouncer the second we entered the bar. We went up to the bar and the bartender laughed when we asked if there were any specials and the bouncer came back and said "It's Saturday afternoon we don't have specials." And once our friend ordered, the bartender said "if I would have known people like you were going to come in asking for an old fashioned I wouldn't have come in to work today" like what?! We came in with smiles and a good attitude and left feeling angry. It also ended up being so stupidly expensive too for barely ANYTHING. Will NEVER be back. One of my favorite amendments, the 21st Amendment is America's response to stupid liberal and progressive ideals with conservative roots. Celebrate booze at 21st Amendment on Dickson St. It's got this giant fan that takes up practically the entire ceiling and a nice loungy atmosphere. The entire front of the place is open, so it feels inviting. I did have some trouble getting service at the bar, but perhaps that was just because I'm Asian. I believe this was the first spot we hit up after dinner. I like the rooftop area where you can see down the street. I like that bathrooms were accessible. There is only one bar up here, and it is pretty crowded and takes a bit to order your drink. My vodka gimlet was alright. Prices were reasonable, and service was ok. There's not really much seating around here so be prepared to do some standing. It seems more like a popular crowd type of spot. read more

This is a unique bar with a great atmosphere. I hung-out with some friends to kill time before going to a show. The atmosphere is like a man cave. There's wood paneling on one side with a distressed brick wall on the other. There's some framed pictures from the 1920's, TVs and one HUGE ceiling fan. You can see the pics showing the shelves of bottles behind the bar. There's several bar tables/chairs around the front end along with a couple leather sofas and chairs along the walls. We arrived before the crowd and left as the place was filling up. It's a cool place to hang out. We sat at the leather sofa/char area. I only wish I had a cigar with me at the time. Forgive me, I failed to notice the beer selection. Once we walked in, I was definitely in a mood for liquor. We had several beverages and the tab was nowhere near as high as we were expecting. I love the vibe in this bar. It is chill and sophisticated....Leather couches, dark lighting and an open patio (for the summer/spring/fall). There are 2 things that you definitely need to check out: The Big Ass Fan and, for guys, the urinal in the men's bathroom. Unfortunately, there's nothing special in the women's bathroom. I'm not much of a drinker, but I enjoy hanging out here with friends. I've never had any issues with the service, even though I'm not their typical drinking customer. The bartender here was absolutely so rude to me and my friends. First off, when we tried to order drinks he was on his phone texted for about 5 minutes and did not even acknowledge us. Definitely one of the top bars in Fayetteville with extremely experienced staff and quality drinks to match. This place is known for terrible service, yet for some reason I went anyway. After paying cash for my drink, I saw the bartender tip himself without offering me my change. Still, I politely asked "hey, was there any change on that?" and the guy lied to my face. At that point I told him that I in fact knew there was change due, and he then called me a "bitch that doesn't know how shit works around here" and proceeded to *throw* my change at me. After I walked away from the bar, he continued to yell after me. I would have tipped him the amount he tipped himself, had he not done that. In fact, I probably would have tipped more. Bartenders did not give a second glance at us on NYE, though my girlfriend and I had been standing there in visible range, bellly up to the bar for 30 minutes. One guy came up to the bar and got served within seconds right next to us. I was visibly upset but the bartender still took our NYE order of 2 beers and 4 champagnes. Then went directly to some chick who also came up to the bar and was served within seconds. When we asked where our order was, my girlfriend was told to act like an adult to be served... I love the name of this place. 21st Amendment has got a great roof top patio with lots of seating for everyone. The roof top has it's own bar too so never fear there are no extra trips up and down the stairs if you don't want them. The main floor has a glass front wall that opens all the way up and a bar as well. Pretty neat place and very original name. They do allow smoking so FYI for all you non-smokers out there. read more

Kicked me out cause I dropped a beer in the bathroom on accident apologized to the man in the bathroom then when I went to the sit at the bar, where I asked if they could on to my beer before I went to the restroom. The bar tender with a beard was talking to some girls he was drunk too. So I waited for awhile until I whistled at him to see if I can get any beer he was holding for me and that I opened and bought already. He said" did you just whistle at me? Get out!"
