We had a great tour to the Boeing Museum in Seattle, and it was all because of our representative/driver Casey Raiha. He made the drive over educational, and knew everything about Seattle and it's outskirts. You could not ask for a better tour guide than Casey. And as an added benefit, at the end he offered us all a choice of 3 dropoff spots (not just our original hotel pick up spot.) They are finally re-opened and we were excited since we bought a Groupon over 1 year ago! It was pretty cool because not only did they honor our Groupon, they accommodate us for a non- regular time. We did the pike place tour and we were the only 2 people. We got there a little early but was welcomed by our excited guide, Marcia. We went through 11 places on our tour to sample food around pike place along with learning some interesting facts about the location. The samples were good and the experience was pretty fun. Marcia did a really good job telling us things about pike place that we never knew. It was also cool to see how she knows everyone and even had them interact with us along the way allowing them to tell us their stories. My only critique: I wish we had gone in reverse order because it would have been nice to end with desserts rather than start with them. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it. read more

Very fun and informative tour of Pike Place Market! We got to try several shops while learning the history of the market over the course of 3 hours. Definitely a good deal for first time Seattle visitors to try bites from several food stalls in the market, including: pastries from Three Girls Bakery, Greek yogurt with marionberries, fresh salmon from the fish market, cinnamon orange tea from the spice store, truffle goods from Truffle Queen, cheese from Beecher's, biscuits from Honest Biscuit, fried fish, caramel candies, and more! We came with a super big group broken down into several different groups with different guides. The guide for my group was Woody. He was an awesome guide...very knowledgeable and entertaining. He was friendly and kind--as well as protective as we witnessed several people almost being ran over, and even one hit by a car. Be careful! Washington drivers are crazy! Lol He had recommendations for after tour activities. We all enjoyed our tour. If I were to do a guided tour of Seattle again I would love Woody to be my guide. Thanks Woody! He came prepared with hand sanitizer, napkins and wet wipes! It was a 2 hour tour but it didn't even feel like it since Bob made the tour fun! The samples were great as well. I ate breakfast before so the samples filled me up and I didn't have to eat lunch. It is a walking tour so bring your walking shoes and comfortable attire. Other than that I really enjoyed it! Bob was great! Throughout the entire tour, he always had fun and interesting facts about evey part of the market. His tour is awesome for out of towners and local residents alike because you are bound to learn something new. Covid protocol is also excellent. Bob was meticulous in ensuring all of the samples were touched only by you, and had plenty of hand sanitizer to go around. He also went out of his way to find outdoor spots for us to eat (so we didn't have to remove masks in the market). As an extra bonus, all of the food samples on the tour are delicious! Tessa was our tour guide. She was very vibrant and knowledgeable about the market. The history lesson the people working at the market how the inner workings of the market is done was very informative. No spoiler alerts sorry. I highly recommend the tour. Not one thing we tasted was not approved by my palate. Had I known ahead of time what I was eating it something I never would have tried but loved it after the tasting. After the tour my husband and I bought food from two of the vendors we could take home on a plane with us to share with our family. If you have allergies or issues with certain foods the tour does its best to work around it. There was a lady in our group who had Celiac disease ( I think it's no flour or wheat products ) anyway she got a tasting at every stop as well but of something different than we had. We had the pleasure of booking a Sunday morning tour during their off season. We ended up with a beautiful day to do so! Woody, our local guide, was very friendly and full of information. He was even willing to give additional recommendations on places and activities in the area after the tour ended. The tour itself was pretty standard and as expected. We stopped at various stalls and arcades in all of the districts of Pike Place Market. Some of the vendors gave a brief history of their location and offerings, which added even more depth to the experience. There was a good variety of types of food to sample along the way. Being gluten free, I was able to have something from each location. Everything seemed to be prepared fresh upon our arrival. The food was delicious! Woody definitely enhanced the tour experience with his knowledge and friendly banter. Early in the tour I told my husband that I want to be his friend--that's just the kind of guy he seemed to be. He performed his job well, giving a wealth of information with a delivery that was not dry or boring and added his own personal touch in how the history of the market had impacted him. He also seemed to have built a solid rapport with the venders we did encounter, which agin speaks to the type of person he is. We had a an amazing tour with Woody McAllister from Show Me Seattle on Saturday. We toured pikes Place market, and he showed us the best parts of the entire market. We sampled food from many of the vendors throughout the entire market as he talked about the history and development of pikes place. My Tour of Seattle on Friday, 7/21/23 was fantastic! Our Guide, Mark, was very knowledgeable and personable. The weather started off overcast, but once the Marine Layer burned off it was a beautiful day to see Seattle! I booked the 3 Hour Tour through Get Your Guide and saw there was an option to visit the Space Needle and Pikes Place Market, but couldn't figure out how to add in on in advance. Show me Seattle tour was well worth the money. It was a 3 hour tour with 3 photo opportunities outside the bus. James Grindle our driver and tour guide drove safely and was a great tour guide. He had a plethora of information, trivia, history and fun to know facts about the city. It was so much fun, you could tell how vested he was in his job and making sure the trip was enjoyable. The tour was pretty good with a lot to see, meaning we didn't get a chance to spend much time at our limited stops. This tour is mainly spent looking out of the window of the bus, which may suit the older tourist. James our driver was an excellent guide/driver with a wealth of knowledge. Expedia needs to be more accurate with their tour timings & pick-up location. We were told to meet this tour guide at the wrong location & the wrong time. I was highly disappointed. I have been on 2 other food tours in seattle and specifically one on pikes place and several at other cities. i have never had a bad experience until now. We could not hear the tour guide. The tast of the biscuit was cold and dry, and tacos where dried meat like it was from the previous day. The others were good. We did the early bird tasting to get a more intimate experience and it was the opposite. read more

This review is simply based off of Customer Service experience and not the tour. I booked this tour for our visit to Seattle and we were looking forward to it based on reviews. The day of the tour we show up early to the pick up spot as instructed, and we were never picked up. I called the customer service line to ask where was the driver and was told they canceled it due to no one else booking. When I booked the tour I was told it would be honored regardless if no others booked. It would be a private tour. I was also told they emailed me a cancellation but this was not true, I had no email in my inbox or spam folder. It would have been more professional to receive a direct phone call so we could make other plans, also to be refunded immediately. Still waiting on refund.. read more

As a first timer to Seattle or to any city for this matter, we like to start with a tour of the city first. We ordered our morning tour from the Trip advisor with a guaranteed pickup at the hotel. So to our surprise we were contacted and rescheduled for the afternoon same day. The reason is - it was only five of us from max 14 participants on the minibus. Dave was on time and after picking up another group we were on the way. Dave was extremely knowledgeable about history of Seattle, and one particularly subject of the salmon. Also 3 stops with the ability of the picture taking was a bonus. Dave provided water & the snacks on the bus with a nice touch of cured salmon at the Fisherman Port stop. read more
