When i first walked in I was instantly greeted. I made an appointment first (always better than a walk in). I was not rushed to pick a color and was instantly seated in lovely pedicure massage chair of my choice. I chose the end away from everyone lol. This place is pretty busy. Everyone in it is respectfully quiet though. It is pretty big inside, they have a lot of staff and the man that did my toes was very precise and focused, no rushing. He shaped my toenails perfectly although he could have filed my calluses down a little more, and not have cut my toenails down SO They have a wide variety of colors and they have a pedicure spa menu ranging from $35-$80. I got the mini luxe ($45) which included a 10 minute foot massage, paraffin, hot stones, a leg mask and all of the other regular goods your get with pedicures. They also give a free 3 min neck massage at the end. Overall I give this place a 4 star rating because of how busy it is (I'm not a fan of packed places), and the callus removal could have been better. I'm an 60 yo man and just wanted a plain mani-pedi $50 with clear polish. I said I needed nothing extra when the menu was brought but she still added a service. Then she did not seem into her job at all and all way looking at the people next to us. She barely did any work on my calluses on my feet, spent maybe a minute. Then when she did my nails she cut the to the quick (they were not damaged) and did a very poor job on the polish which was thick and bumpy looking. I'll never go back. read more

6/23/2020 UPDATE I gave Show Nails another chance and they failed again. I got the spa pedicure and I had the technician Tina. The massage was just alright even after I asked her to please go harder. While cutting my cuticles, she hurt me a few times. I will say that they are really cautious about precautions and cleaning, including asking everyone to wash their hands and having a touchless soap dispenser & faucet. I won't be back. They are just not considerate of your time which is the biggest disappointment. I stressed I needed to be taken right away at the time I made my appointment and I still had to wait 15 minutes past my appointment time! It's a shame because it's so close but they just suck. Sh*t Show Nails Completely unprofessional & a waste of your time! A few weeks back, I went to Show nails for a set of tips & acrylic nails. They did an alright job, even though they didn't finish the edges of two of my nails and dirt got trapped underneath them. I made an appointment early in the day for a mani and pedi at 5:30 PM. I arrived a few minutes early and there were two people without appointments waiting before me. They were both taken care of before me. The asian guy manager is rude and doesn't know how to talk to customers. I said something after waiting 15 minutes, and he brushed me off. They only tried to rush me over when I started to put on my coat a HALF HOUR later. They are obviously greedy and don't want to turn anyone away, even if it means putting customers who made appointments last. I would suggest to stay away from Show Nails if your time is valuable to you. There's just so many other better asian nail places that will actually value your patronage and treat you like you deserve to be treated. read more

I have gone to several nail salons around the Smithfield/Lincoln area and this has been the best so far. I have only done the dip manicures here and I have never been disappointed. I would recommend going during week when it's Not too busy. They have a loyalty card make sure you get one! You accumulate points = money. read more

This has become my new go to spot for mani and pedis. I usually get a gel mani or pedi. I typically call ahead to make appointments and have never had to wait when I arrive. I always opt for an upgraded pedi as prices are reasonable and the extra TLC on the feet are always welcomed. The staff is always polite and patient with me when I struggle to pick a color. I'm always asked if I want nails trims down or what shape I prefer before they start. They also have a great rewards program that I've been able to cash in many times already. It's worth the $1 fee to get the card! read more

I've given Show Nails and Spa so many chances, and unfortunately, I keep leaving beyond disappointed in my service. I've been getting my nails done for over 10 years, and have been coming to Show since 2018. 3 weeks ago, I got my usual dip manicure, and left absolutely disgusted. The nail tech did a horrible job - she never filed down the dip so they were thick, shapeless blobs. It took her over 2 hours just to do my nails, so by the time she finished I just wanted to get out of there. She stood at the front waiting to be tipped, which I can't stand. I left angry, only to be chased down by the owner who asked why I didn't like my nails. He apologized and offered to have me come in to get my nails fixed. I appreciated that and the fix was great. It was time for my next nail appointment so I went in as usual, asking for dip with french (which they've done for me before, it's easy, you just do the dip with a gel overlay) they said that wasn't possible unless I did a UV gel nail - they insisted it would look just like dip. Little did I realize, they tricked me into doing the UV gel because it was $20 more for the service. Beyond that, they were done so poorly that it was physically painful for me - she put the gel way too think causing a burning sensation for every single finger. My nails came out horribly, it's embarrassing. They're so thick, literally thicker than a quarter - literally. Enough chances, I'm done. read more

He left them very thick and lumpy. My friends asked me if I had done them myself. I think he really tried, but I just think he did not have the experience. AMAZING service even on a busy Saturday afternoon. The employees are all very kind and welcoming, the salon doesn't smell like a bottle of acetone, and they have THE best spa pedicure I have ever received. My pedicure was done by Emily, and I would ask for her again. She was cheerful, very detailed and took her time with each part of the pedicure. They didn't make you feel rushed at all; quite the contrary, they made it feel as though you were the only ones there. The free back massage was an added bonus! The prices were also very reasonable compared to other salons nearby. I couldn't be happier with the pedicure and service that my friend and I receivedand plan on returning. The salon itself was impeccably clean, modern, and very calming/zen feeling. Our nail techs were extremely professional, and gave the best spa pedicure my friend and I have ever had! I have had two good experiences there since discovering them through a few recommendations. This is the first nail salon that my gel nails last me, they don't peel chip and my nails remain healthy underneath. It's organized and comfortable throughout the whole experience. They even treat you to a nice shoulder massage between drying. This place was horrible. To start I was there for over two hours for a pedicure and dip manicure. James, was extremely rough while doing my pedicure and manicure, and left me with several cuts on my cuticles. He kept clumping the dip on my nails, trying to fix my nails with his hands and kept smudging them. You could tell he was getting frustrated with the smudges and ended up leaving them as they were and said they were done. And after giving him his tip, he quickly snapped it out of my hand and walked away without saying a work. In less than 12 hours, one of my nails cracked from putting on my seatbelt. By today, two other nails did they same thing and are cracked and broken. I called the salon today and spoke with the manager and the woman rushed me off the phone. After getting my nails redone here on Monday, I would not refer this place to any of my friends and family. read more

Run of the mill nail salon. Had my gel manicure removed and a normal manicure done last Wednesday, didn't start chipping (a little) until today (Monday) which is impressive! They also give a 2 minute massage and paraffin treatment. Can't tip with your card which is really frustrating. They have an ATM that doesn't charge, but your bank will charge. Would be five star otherwise, huge pet peeve of mine. I am impressed that they have UV protectors for when you get gels done. I may consider gels if I'm in the area (which I am not often) but if you're in the area, may be worth it for you :) read more

So this is a new nail place that just opened near Lowe's and Walmart. They sent me a coupon in the mail so I decided to try it. Very nice, clean and modern. They use liners for the pedi tub that you put your feet in. Large selection of colors. I went on a Sunday morning and there was already a wait. I have to say it's a little more expensive than some other places I've been. The pedicure was good- I got the next up from the base pedi. She put a lotion on my legs and wrapped it in Saran Wrap. Also they time your foot massage. I think mine was 10 minutes. I also got steam on my legs and feet and paraffin on my heels. Overall very nice place. Took a little longer than I really wanted to be there but maybe it'll quiet down after they are open for a while. The staff also seemed pleasant. I'll probably come back. read more

Preggo lady here and the pedicure i got here was magical clean space, they have everything sterilized, they truly take their time (not rushed in and out) and the massages are always a bonus. It's the inconsistencies for me... you might get someone who is great and the next time it'll be the worse ever. Today was one of those days. My nail broke when they cut them but the girl tried telling me it was like that... umm you can still the indents from the nail that wad there. It wasn't broken. She did the bare minimum, if that. Didn't clean under or around my nails... got mad at me when I asked her to straighten out one nail that was cut crooked. Just crazy being a paying customer and getting made to feel stupid for asking for something to be how I like it. I will def look around and Give another business a chance going forward. read more

had been going there for a couple months constantly. had all my friends and family going there as well. loved the work 85% of the time, but it was close to home so I continued going. today I asked for a simple design and by the end my nails looked nothing like it. they gaslight me into trying to say I complained about the nails before he continued to finish them, but I had only originally agreed to an $85 set with this design from instagram not just an all over color. they would not give me a partial refund or gift card to get them redone, (I just wanted dip but got a full poly gel set) and I am longer going to this establishment. if you want your nails done good every time, I suggest going to another place or ask for Sunny. shes the only consisten tech here. read more

While the did a great job at COVID precautions and everyone is very nice , the service was not good , they did a hard gel manicure on me and I was so excited to get my nails done now that they are open and was severely disappointed. The shape and length and paint job was all horrid , AND IT BURNED. I understand using a gel light if it is put on too thick / too quickly it may burn a little but it was literal fire , and I immediately pulled my hand out and they told me that the first time would burn? I was already a few nails in and so I decided to finish but it hurt so bad , and I feel like they should of done more to be attentive to my pain rather than just shrug it off and tell me to put my hand back in the light . The nail salon aesthetic is beautiful and it's a true calm serene environment. I got dip powder from here with tips and they looked SO good initially but was super disappointed as the week went on. Normally dip powder last 3-4 weeks for me without chipping or breaking. I had 2 nails break in the same week from simple things like (pulling up my jeans/ opening my car door). I'm glad they fixed it for free but it's a hassle to go back to the nail salon and chipping is really painful. read more

Went today and got service from Emily. I had been going to Bonsai Nail Bar before this and my last two visits were rushed, sloppy and came out bad. I came here to look for a new place. Though they did not do acrylics here I was impressed with the Gel Dip which felt good. Emily was very meticulous and took a lot of time to focus on the detail of the shape of the nails being even and smooth. She was polite, she didn't make the work seem rushed or make me feel rushed as I waited. The place is clean and organized and I like how the seating is not on top of one another. I was surprised by the 2-minute massage. I never got one before with my nail service and she was firm-handed, it felt amazing. I also enjoyed the end care of the hand's massage and hot towel wrap for my hands at the end. I recommend coming here and trying it out. I really like Show nails, accept for today. The nail employee, Anna, was clearly not in the mood to do nails this morning. I went in looking to get nude nails. I picked a color and decided it was too pink and then picked another color and realized it was too dark. By the time I picked the darker color she was clearly annoyed and rushing me. I pulled up a picture and asked if she could help me find a color similar to the picture. And she got up through her hands up and said "I don't know the number!" And walked away to try and now get the color palette again and she just dropped it in front of me. So clearly she was not going to help me find my color. I kept the picture out and the color I picked was clearly too pink. I didn't want to continue getting my nails done by her at this point I just wanted out. She didn't ask if it was good or not. She was clearly done and just wanted to get another customer in her chair. It was clear that she was in a zone of just cranking out customers today.
